My favorite 151 Pokémon is definitely Growlithe! As a child, Growlithe has always been my favorite Pokémon in the series and still is today. I think Growlithe should get a secret art rare. The Pokémon reminds me of my childhood.😊

I had the entire first case set growing up and played the hell out of them. Just now getting back into collecting with my 7 year olds. We just built their first decks.

As a person who played and collected pokemon since the beginning, this set just gives me so much nostalgia from kanto! I just can’t wait to see the 151 set to drop in english! This might be my favourite Pokémon set ever. Not only do some of the cards have incredible art, they don’t even have to be a hit to look good. Really looking forward to this set and seeing all the kanto Pokémon together again. The pull rates look great too
I loved Nidoking since evolving Nidorino by accident as a kid. I’m happy that Nidoking got the full art treatment since there hasn’t been a card since XY era.
Already have $15,000 set aside for the English release in September because I refuse to have anything short of a master set with all of the commons/uncommons in reverse holo. Also planning on keeping a LOT of sealed stuff. The original 151 was where I first started collecting from 1995-99 and the fact that this set is coming out shortly after I came back to hobby is a sign that I need to have everything this set has to offer and then some.

When I complete a master set I want it all to be my own pulls because that's part of the fun AND I know how I treat my cards whereas buying singles you can get any number of dings, scratches, folds, etc. I can also pick the highest quality card of any duplicates to keep in the master set binder. 2. I am not just looking to complete the master set from pulls. I want a lot of sealed product for several reasons. A. I would like to have one of every product from the set for display. B. Each of my employees that express interest (most of us are 30-40 and grew up with gen 1) are going to get 6 booster bundles on top of their Christmas bonus. And I'm sure employees with kids who themselves don't have an interest will still want them for Christmas gifts. C. I'd like to have a case of booster bundles for each of my kids to open when they're old enough so that the original 151 is their first pokemon experience. D. I think it's going to be a very popular set so I'd love to have a lot of sealed product set aside for giveaways, look-back openings, and charity auctions in the future when the set is harder to get your hands on. 3. It's a special set. I want to make absolutely sure I can complete it before prices get outrageous. Hidden Fates is already becoming more and more expensive to collect. Crown Zenith I still need quite a few cards from and it's getting harder and harder to find big bundles of packs (like 100 at a time), and this set will be similar with the only added advantage being that there will actually be booster bundles of this set meaning you can buy packs without fluff. However, at 25$ per bundle you're talking $150 for a booster box worth of packs so not everyone is going to be able to spring on big openings right away.
Besides Pikachu, I think my favorite Gen one Pokemon is Dragonite. I loved him in the anime and Dratini was so hard to get in the game it was a big accomplishment to have him on my squad. The memories are precious to me.

As strange as people find it to be, mine is Tangela. It's such an odd pokemon and the fact that there is an AR card of it in this set makes me extremely happy. It's like going back 25 years, but finally my favourite pokemon is getting the art it deserves.
THE WAY IT CUT BEFORE THAT TRAINER WAS PULLED...SUPER SKETCH. Why was there a cut instead of keeping the one-take? Did he want to go back and "re-do" his reaction? Did he use that card to pump the video? There's a reason there was a cut right as he pulled the pricey trainer card. Otherwise, he'd have left it in one take. He either didn't like his initial reaction, and re-shot it.. or it was a fixed pull. One or the other.
either I'm fooled, or the constant lag in his video really shows through here. there are many laggy points in the video, so I think this is a post-production problem
Just put it at 25% speed and screen recorded it to move frame by frame. I think it’s just an editing mistake. You can see it behind the one prior at the bottom left, and the positioning of the pack plus the spec of dust is in the same spot on his hand before and after skipped frame.

The first Glora's, Acerola's, and Galar friends cards I pulled from Vmax climax.. I had no idea they were the most expensive. I do want to point out that rev knows he's an entertainer and people watch these for his reactions (which are rehearsed). Rev stands up and paces around the room like he's out of breath when he pulls a $25 card... it's an act. He's successful at it, but it's over the top... he's an actor. Nobody legitimately reacts that crazy when they rip a $4 pull tab and pull some of the mediocre values he loses his mind on. Nothing wrong with it. It's his job and he's good at it. But, his reactions are definitely not genuine.
