I’m Gen 1 and have not bought a pack of cards in 25 years. Stumbled upon your page the other day, and your videos have inspired me to get back into Pokémon card collecting. Went straight to my local card shop and bought an ultra-premium box. These pulls are a lot of fun watching, thank you for getting so many ppl hyped!
gen 1 is the beat gen of pokemon in my opinion, there are cool pokemon in other gens but i think gen 1 was full of the best

Dude me too! I'm a gen 1, lost all my cards in 04 ish, and just started collecting again in 2019.
I bet you love those new Scarlet & Violet packs too! I love how it's the dogs mixed with the brand new pokemon, and you get like 3 holos a pack.
They are a lot of fun to open if you're an OG.

Yeah, mainly collect YUGIOH and have some Pokémon but this set brings me right back to the 3rd grade playground trading cards. Good times. I remember trading a freshly pulled Vileplume for a Zapados and later flipping that for a Charizard.
I wasn’t really allowed to collect pokemon cards as a kid so I really missed out on all the 90s and 2000s pokemon hype. It makes me super happy that 151 exists, lets me feel like a kid again. Thank you for this amazing video ❤

I have to say, as a 30 year old, this collection really sparked a feeling in me that I haven't had since the first time Pokémon became a part of my life! Heavenly Crowns
After all, what gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when he returns? It is you!
-1 Thessalonians 2:19
According to Scripture, rewards will be given out in Heaven for our faithfulness.
What kind of rewards will they be? The Bible specifically mentions crowns. For example, there is a crown of rejoicing, which we could also call the soul winner’s crown. The apostle Paul wrote, “After all, what gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when he returns? It is you!”
(1 Thessalonians 2:19)
Paul was effectively saying that the people he reached with the gospel will be his crown of rejoicing. This seems to indicate that if we have led others to Christ, then we will receive a special crown.
The Bible also mentions a crown of life. James 1:12 tells us, “God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him”
This crown is for those who have resisted temptation and persevered under trial.
Some people have tougher lives than others. Certain people seem to skate through life relatively unscathed. On the other hand, maybe you’ve had a difficult life, but you’ve been faithful during those times of testing. Despite setbacks, hardships, disabilities, or illnesses, you have honored the Lord. As a result, you will receive the crown of life.
Then there is the crown of righteousness. Paul mentioned this crown in 2 Timothy: “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing”
(4:8)
This is a crown for faithful living. It’s a crown for those who long for the return of Christ, for those who live in the light of Heaven.
Here’s what we need to remember: It isn’t about how famous you are. Rather, it’s about being faithful with what God has called you to do. It is not about what God has called your friend or your pastor or someone else to do. It’s all about what God has given you to do. Have you been faithful?
As you think about your life, you might say, “I don’t know that I’ve reached thousands or hundreds or even tens.” But if you follow Jesus Christ and have told others about Him, then you’ve sown seeds of the gospel.
That seed might not break ground until later. Maybe one person you’ve led to the Lord will lead twenty people to the Lord twenty years from now. Or maybe the person you impacted with the gospel will have children who raise their children in the way of the Lord. And maybe one of their children will become the next Billy Graham.
All the spiritual fruit that goes from generation to generation will come back to you. You will share in it. And you will be rewarded for your faithfulness to God.
The 151 cards are all just so cute, maybe it’s because it’s so nostalgic but the art on these cards is amazing for every one i’ve seen
For some reason this set gives me the most nostalgia from all the Kanto sets (Celebrations, Evolutions, Etc) this one just gives me the closest feelings to opening up base set as a kid and I'm loving it!

What I love about this box is the promos are more protected, not bouncing around in drawers.

Just bought me a box. Brought me back to my childhood. Currently the last few years I’ve been getting back into sports cards and not really caring about this “new age” Pokémon but after seeing this set it brought the nostalgia back!

After watching this vid, and listening to the information you have imparted with, whilst sharing your passion with enthusiasm, I have finally decided I am going to start a Pokemon 151 Collection.
The artwork and illustration of this set looks amazing. The skill and detail on the artwork, the colour vibrancy, the insane holographic quality, the prestige of rarities, are the attributes I seem to like about this collection. Most importantly, for the nostalgia❤ - to again chase amazingly beautiful and culturally iconic Pokemon cards.
But...
The biggest reason that has got me excited to drive me to start collecting this set is...
It's a second chance. 🤞It is second chance to 'pull', or chase, that legendary card I thought I had missed out on. I have only every seen on the my computer screen, and have relied on bad luck, every time I had opened a pack in the past. I didn't even know they were in this collection until I watched your video today. 😯
3 Cards from my "Ellenore" wish list is in this collection. The infamous ''(#205), the elusive ''(#183) and the spectacular "'(#185). 🙈🙉🙊

Awesome product, definitely agree they stepped it down on the premium goodies - metal dice, pullout box, dividers, sleeves. But adding a metal card was a HUGE improvement and really what was missing from the zard upc. Great video, looking forward to getting one myself one day!

After 20 years i fell back into this hard last month starting with this collection, the Sword & Shield UPC (the one with Charizard on the box), 2 booster boxes, 3 ETB's and the Classic Collection.
I gave the metal card to my son since he pulled the actual card from the packs from this set that i let him open.

I started collecting Gen 1 when I was 7, I randomly found your channel around this time of this video, made me want to start collecting Pokemon all over again. Went right to my small town card shop and bought the last Ultra Premium Box and fell in love all over again, got some really nice pulls too, and been collecting ever since! Keep up the great work!

I just started collecting again recently and randomly bought a random set at Best Buy and the person at the counter asked if I wanted the new 151 box set and I said sure. ended up with the elite box then went back 2 days later and bought this set after watching your video. I got a bunch of really good pulls.

Where do I buy some of the top loaders?
I'm from Gen 1. This set amazing from me. I lost all my base set cards from a natural disaster. Had everything from the time base to neo era. Rev got me back into it with 151. I came back in the XY for a moment but died out but I've gotten about 60 packs total from 151 got about 80 percent or the set. Bought a booster few booster boxes for the newer sets and started opening packs with my daughter who loves doing packs with me. So we try to get a booster box a month to do together. Thank for getting me back into it man.

I didn’t know the 151 started coming out last year 😅 I’m new in the hobby and I’ve been hunting this box for msrp. Sad to say a lot of people selling it for 2x the price. But I hope I can get one someday that’s not been resealed.

I played pokemon games on gameboy advance and so on the DS. To understand these pokemon cards and characters one must play the consoles when they were kids to get a way better understanding.
My kids would LOVE this box! So many cool looking cards and it's just awesome!

7:54 Technically it's the 4th UPC. We got the Arceus VSTAR UPC around the same time as Charizard UPC.

151 is probably the best set of scarlet and violet yet. It brought so much nostalgia and the hits are amazing.
I dont play the tcg but I love the nostalgia of this set. I just replayed the tcg gameboy game on the switch digital console so the nostalgia is really flowing for me
