I've now officially done classic remixes of every single mainstream level in the classic series, not counting CD and the levels in Generations. What have I been doing with my life?

There are so many things unexplained in this zone.
1). Why can everyone breath in space?
2). Why is there affective gravity?
3). Why can Eggman run so fast?

For 3, many people theorize that Sonic slowed down while chasing Eggman because he doesn't want to harm the unarmed doctor.
In the description: "What have I been doing with my life?" you was just making the great songs greater and making A LOT of people happy, just that my friend, just that.

I've always just assumed that sonic and/or tails are tired from fighting the robot before, which is why Eggman matches their speed

Without a doubt, the most badass final stage music in a Sonic game. It's like "You got all 14 emeralds, you went to Hell and back, now get ready an epic space battle!" And it turns out to be a giant labyrinth of a space station! 25 years later, I STILL LOVE IT!
Am I the only one who noticed that there's the ACT 1 and ACT 2 remixes both in this?

What they couldn't do on the Death Egg in Sonic 2, they did spectacularly in Sonic and Knuckles; one of my favorite final levels along with Titanic Monarch from Sonic Mania

I never thought this was hard. Now the Death Egg Zone from Sonic 2; THAT was hard!
His Dudeness Sonic 2's Death Egg Zone wasn't hard. It was a zone for only 2 bosses, and that's it. Sonic and Knuckle's Death Egg Zone, though, was hard. It had traps, lots of spikes, gravity swaps, and 3 bosses. Sonic and Knuckles really improved over the old Death Egg Zone.

+Terminal Velocity actually the only way you can play that stage is if you have all the chaos emeralds, and it is canon to the story, so I don't know why he didn't do a remix of it
Thats if you play only sonic and knuckles. In Sonic 3 + Knuckles, The super emeralds were needed as Terminal said. However, Seeing as if you know locations of bonus rings, You can get all 7 chaos emeralds before marble garden and Super emeralds in Mushroom Hill zone alone.
Ive played the game quite a bit. Usually one full completion a day.
I like to wait until the last possible 7 stages in the S3 area before collecting the chaos emeralds - same with the S&K zones for the super emeralds - that way I can rack up an insane score with the perfect bonuses by getting them/losing the round (until the aforementioned stages). Using this trick, I once ended a playthrough of Sonic 3 & Knuckles with all 7 Chaos Emeralds, all 7 Super Emeralds, and a score of 2,750,000 pts. I think I missed a special stage ring or two, which would have pushed me over 3,000,000 pts.

Probably the best final stage in gaming, the intimidating music, and the message behind it, Dr eggman himself isn't a scary villain, but this is the darkness that he wants to unleash into the world, this is the evil that resides in his mind. Sonic running into danger with only one thing on his mind, making sure the death egg is out of commission. This level has to be the highlight of all the sonic classic games and I wish it was remade in generations, the one in forces is trash.
What’s even more frustrating is that Death Egg is only a prison not a killer space orb like the Death Star from Star Wars was
Best final levels of any classic Sonic game. The Death Egg as a full fledged zone and not just a boss rush was the best thing ever.

Maybe it's just me, but I felt like Death Egg was easier than the final levels of any of the other Genesis titles, at least once you learn its rules.
alchemist889 All the difficult level design went into the bosses, honestly. I died more times to the FUCKING security system bot more than I did in the two acts combined.
alchemist889 For me it was easily one of the most enjoyable i just always try to avoid those automatic ring tunnel devices

I just noticed that this remix is heavily based off of ACT 2 of DEZ instead of ACT 1.

Being a hyped up fan doesn't mean you're a stalker. A stalker would actively look into everything you do, anywhere and everywhere, not just what you post online.
