The reason why this guys remixes are so good is because he doesn't deviate from the original music as much. He keeps it similar and makes the music sound better and flow better. Playing this game since I was 4, I really wanna hear similar sound just better quality and remix.

I had the Chaos Emeralds by Hydrocity/Marble Garden (Knuckles was a chore), so Launch Base was not hard, but I did get time overs, only because of my young exploration boner (still have it after all these years :) )

As for the reason he or SEGA pulled out of the deal, I think it's a case of both MJ and SEGA going separate ways for their own reasons.

i always consider Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles the same game (i don't usually call it Sonic 3 & Knuckles, just call everything Sonic 3), but if i had to make a Top 6 zones from Sonic 3 standalone, Launch Base would be second (yes, i have a pretty unpopular opinion about this game) 1- Hydrocity (fast paced, non-boring water level) 2- Launch Base (enjoyable final zone, not like Scrap Brain, Metropolis, Metallic Madness & Death Egg S&K) 3- Ice Cap (ice stages are always good, and Ice Cap is no exception, excluding the bottomless water pit in Act 2) 4- Angel Island (only 4th cuz it's overshadowed by HCZ, LBZ and ICZ, and finally a first stage that isn't a Green Hill) 5- Carnival Night (bad zone: terrible physics for physics-based stage, Knuckles Act 1 got me dead, and barrels crushing you) 6- Marble Garden Zone (HORRIBLE zone: spikeballs swinging in the worst places, stupid blue enemy, and the spinner bullcrap) Marble Garden is easily for me the worst zone in both S3 and S&K, worse than Death Egg and Sandopolis Act 2
Here's an histroy: When i was heading to the ship big arms appears, 1st i fighted the Eggman robot before big arms them i said ''Where's big arms'' Then a message popped out ''Mushroom hil zone act 1'' Appeared then i felt dumb.

This is actually one of my favorite levels in Sonic 3 and Knuckles. It would be cool if the remade this level in Generations or in Sonic Adventure it would be cool to see.
