I appreciate you showing so many top and pant combos. I agree with your analysis! I do very much enjoy your inspiration videos and watch them multiple times. It would be great to see another! Thank you.

Always wondered what tops and shoes to wear with the dropped crotch style pants. Your recommendations and observations are spot on. You seem taller than 5’3”, so the balance in volume is correct. Great job ❤

If I were to wear drop crotch pants (and we both know that’s a big if 😊) I would wear the Tina givens Zelda but I do like all of the more crop top choices on you too

Similarly you might like V1355 which are a favourite of mine. Slimmer at the ankle and very flat front. I have made them in both knit and woven. They don't show volume on the cover art but they do have volume in the crotch and the leg. Thanks for your review.

I actually have that pattern! Now I'll have to break it out and take a closer look thanks for the suggestion.

Oh I have that pattern. Never made it though. Good to know. It would be cool to see what Gini might do with it!

I like your Zelda tunic. Clearly, you have modified it from the pattern, which doesn’t have a button front opening. do you have a RUclips about that tunic? As always, your video is great. I look forward to hearing from you each week.😊

thanks Mary, I did make a video about hacking this Zelda into a button front but I can't find it. I've looked and looked and looked 😕so I might have to do a new one. I love this version and wear it all the time so I could use another one.

i make drop crotch pants a lot, bit I've found in most patterns, the ankle edge of the patterns are usually drafted to go strait down towards the ankle from the knee, so on the inner seam there always appears a peak like a beak at the inner ankle/calf, when they're on. I'm not sure if your lovely green ones do this as well. I've been experimenting with tapering the inner leg to an angle, any angle, so they drape better. It follows my body better I think. Do you have ideas about this. I have self drafted an original fisherman's pant (shop purchased) many many times, making them wider and then narrower, putting elastic in the waist band instead of the wrap ties etc etc., so they are still boxy but less so for linens and heavier cottons, even light denims. Recently I figured out by putting a yolk on them I'm able to insert inseam pockets which works well too. I love my drop crotch pants. A recommendation pattern, is Style Arc's, Palermo Pant. A knit pattern, Ive made these in stretch velvet. nice but im sure they'd also work in linen. thank you for your inspiration always
