Thanks Tush. Yes, it was a horrible day. Even the MOT bloke said that he was surprised that I turned up in the rain. Thankfully the car passed with no problems. Now just hoping for a nice summer.
I didn't want to wear them out! Actually, they do occasionally get stuck under the windscreen frame, and it would have been just my luck for it to happen before the MOT. Thankfully it was a pass, with no issues noted.
It certainly does always seem like it does. I haven't had a car fail its MOT for years now, but I still always get nervous on the day. It takes me right back to being a teenager and desperately filling rusted holes the night before the test in the hope of getting whatever old banger I was driving at the time through.
What a rotten day for a drive...the TR5 didn't miss a beat...I'm sure it passed with flying colours !

I wonder why you seem reluctant to use your windscreen wipers? Anyway, hopefully it passed the MOT?
