Look at his stats vs righties ... they are ABYSSMAL. I love the guy, and want him to be just the slightest bit better vs righties so he could be upgraded to our every day left fielder.
And don't forget Diego Castillo. He's been quite effective. And I've been pleasantly impressed with Matt Brash--I think he has great potential and lots of room for growth but is also already showing such good results.

Yeah, I honestly wish they had left him in. Leaving Logan Gilbert in the other night with 2 on and only 1 out in the 6th inning would up being incredible as he stepped up to the moment and struck out the remaining two guys and was absolutely *fired up.* I've never seen Logi that animated before! But he knew that was all him in that big moment with only a 1-0 game. Huge, enormous confidence builder! I suppose Kirby was around 90 pitches, though, so I guess bringing in Muñoz was the right move....but I just love when starters stay in and tough out that one last jam!
The fact that he has only 10 decisions in 21 starts is testament to the fact that Seattle has scored AFTER the bullpen has already taken over. He has more nondecisions that decisions. 7-3 with 11 no-decisions. Run support, people.
