Not a Phillies fan, but God damn, this team is a fun team to watch. Love seeing Castellanos, Marsh, Harper, Realmuto and co just smash the ball to the moon.
I was at this game today. My first ever post season game and the stadium was ELECTRIC man. I love this team so much

After Harper came back early from the surgery and seeing him struggle to hit for power for months it's great to see him finally hitting these bombs now when it really matters. Not a Phillies fan but respect greatness.

After Arcia's comments I KNEW this game is a MUST watch! Harper doesn't disappoint, what a beast.
I wish more people were able to experience what Philly fans bring to the Bank in October. That place is a party from first pitch to the last. I was at the game last year with Hoskins homer off Strider, but this game feels like it was even better. Philly fans continue to show why they’re the best, and if you don’t like them you just don’t understand them.

Been to 18 MLB stadiums. When the Phils are winning its my favorite place to see a game. I'm in a wheelchair and it is by far the best stadium for wheelchairs.

This postseason is nothing what people expected... anyone can actually win. Phillies showing that they are the defending NL Champions
Just about the same thing happened last year. Phillies struggled, just made it to the post season, Atlanta number 1 team, Phillies defeat them and one series later, make it to World Series. Not saying it will happen again though.

This is the most electric game I ever been to. My husband and mine first playoff Phillies game and it exceeded my expectations by miles. I will forever rewatch this video to bring back the feeling of being at CBP with 45k fans screaming, booing and cheering.

There are eight other hitters in that line that can step up.
As for blowing his load early, I wonder what you're going to say about last year? He blew his load and every single game of every single series last year. Did you forget that? He even showed up in the world series.
This is why as a manager you can live with what happened in game 2 in terms of the way the game ended with Bryce's aggressiveness. Because just as easily as he can lose you a game, and let's be honest he didn't lose them game 2, you can nitpick all you want. But he most definitely can win you a game damn near singlehandedly. He's the heartbeat, they feed off of Bryce. He's ready for the moment and when you have a future HOFer in your lineup playing at this level, you should be content with his decision making either way. the difference in Game 2 and Game 3 shows the pros and cons of that.
I will say that i love the 3rd inning in game 3 in the nlds 😂

I've been saying it for months now...the Braves don't have pitching to support a post season run. The experts here in the comments kept saying I was all wrong, sadly I was right. It was fun to see what they did in the regular season and its time for some soul searching and a lot of pitching changes in the off season.
But they gave up 7 runs in the first 2 games they just didn't hit , pitching hasn't been the problem it's the bats

@@johnblze667 I agree the bats have been slow lately but, that can happen and at the worst time for the Braves too. However, if you pitching can keep a lid of the other team it would make games like tonight a lot more competitive. You get blown out in the 3rd and its very hard to stay in it.

They've played 27 innings now. The Phils have been the clear better team for what, 24, 25 innings? It hasn't been close. If Harris didn't make that spectacular play, this is probably a SWEEP!

@@mikeyy425 What exactly about the catch isn't true? Was it not a great play? It's obviously no guarantee we win game 2, but odds are we do if that ball either wasn't caught or if it was a HR.
- Best case: Castellanos 2 run HR, Phils up 6-5, 1 out.
- Absolute worst case: Castellanos RBI double, game tied 5-5, 1 out.
The little momentum ATL gained would have been snatched right back. The stadium would return to their usual self through 2 games at Truist; Staying quietly seated throughout the game with weak energy.
I thought they were widely regarded as "the greatest offense ever" but apparently, a good regular season coupled with another postseason disappointment was their goal all along 🤷♂️.
Regardless, this series ends tonight at The Bank!

Acuna’s late game grounder up the middle to Trey Turner was anything but routine, but Acuna didn’t even run hard to first. Acuna only ran halfway to first on his first inning ground out to Harper. OK, I'm a Braves fan and I'll say now what I've been saying since shortly after the All Star break. The Braves pitching staff was really good for the first half of the season but as the second half got going, injuries started taking their toll on the guys. A blister here, pulled muscle there, nothing really serious but just enough to start effecting the control and velocity. The offense is what kept the team going and all the offensive records prove that. Problem is, now that the offense has already checked out, the pitching isn't near good enough to carry the team. This isn't the staff of Maddox, Glavine and Schmoltz. I know there's at least one more game that needs to be played but this is eerily reminiscent of last year. Braves won the division, Phillies were the wild card and they (Phillies) were more keyed in and wound tighter than the Braves. A much more focused ball club. Odd how the best three teams, statistically (Braves, Dodgers and Orioles) have performed so terrible in the post-season. Dodgers and Orioles got swept and the Braves are on life support.
Phillies (clearly) have more life, passion, and determination than the Braves. The Braves are a regular season team. This Phillies team is built for the post season and big moments.
Never ceases to amaze me that people forget outta the last two seasons the Braves won a World Series and the Phillies lost one.

It's the bye week which causes a team to lose steam and get cold, or iced as some call it. The league is going to have to remedy this situation, as you're just going to likely see the same thing happen for most of the best seeds year after year in this format.
