Giger vs his own creation! I love it!
Ah, thank you. You are the first person to acknowledge him in the role. Jeez, I was wondering if people even know who Giger is anymore.
@@artvsmachine3703 dw, he was the reason I clicked
@@marcussmithereens-smithert5409 I've reached 2 people! Hey, I'm working on a new trailer for Alien 8, stay tuned.
Some of these scenes were more effective than those in the actual movie. The facehugger variant was genuinly frightening, and the adult aliens seemed more 'alien'.Oh..and the girls were prettier. And Giger himself made an appearance.Great work.
Ah, thanks. You are only the second person to appreciate that Giger was in it. Have you seen my newer alien trailer for Alien 8? The insanity continues, and you could say I kicked it up another level. ruclips.net/video/9LeY6Mf_RjY/видео.html Note that there's also a companion music video for the one you say, which has extra fight scenes and a damned cool song, if I do say so myself. ruclips.net/video/3b-liKyrIag/видео.html
I love how Lambert is so obviously a blend of Milla Jovovich and Ruby Rose.
Nice! I like it. Loved the original film. This is really cool imo.
Glad you enjoyed it. You should check out my other and more ambitious ALIEN video: ruclips.net/video/9LeY6Mf_RjY/видео.html
Absolutely love it, been a huge fan of alien all my life.
Thanks. Glad you liked it. If RUclips's algorithm doesn't suggest this one, I think you'll really appreciate it: ruclips.net/video/9LeY6Mf_RjY/видео.html
Lovin' the Facehugger at 1:47.
Cheers. Ha, ha, ha. I made many versions until I got just the right one. Thanks for noticing!
Another fantastic look at a classic film in a different way. I very much like how its so clear with the images and again Ripley is absolutely gorgeous. And the other girls too. Love it.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
Many thanks! So glad you were able to find my videos. RUclips's algorithm for some reason is burying them alive.
@@artvsmachine3703 They normally seem to pop up without me looking for them. And there's a few. I'd love to know how it's done. When I first heard of AI I thought as in a physical form. I didn't know you can use that for the screen as in movies. Until now. I thought CGI was the only version of effects. But I'm not much into CGI. I didn't like it when they added it to the original Star Wars films adding unnecessary scenes.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
If you are already a subscriber you might see my new AI videos, or if you have already watched one of them. They are not being rolled out to the general public. Somebody somewhere made an executive decision to suppress them. I don't like most uses of CGI either. Too fast, too extreme, too gratuitous. And most uses of AI are going to be just as bad and probably worse. Just like manufacturing cars. Aesthetically speaking, they did a brilliant job in the 60's-70's. More recently cars look like shoes. It's never the tool, but the person(s) behind the tool.
@@artvsmachine3703 😄😄😄 I agree. Cars were great back then. Now they're almost either flat like a. pancake or a box with wheels. Some look like toys . I have seen several of your AI trailers. I think they show depending what I'm watching. The ones I've seen are still on my watch list of videos so if I watch it again then another shows up. I prefer the AI than CGI. On the Terminator there was negative comments. I thought bit was fine. Comments about Arnold looking like James Dean something about the movements not quite correct. Nevermind there's been lots of positive.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
I didn't do a Terminator, though. That's someone else's work. No lip-syncing, no sound effects ... not one of mine!
Thanks for the nightmares
Yeah. I didn't even know about "Alien Romulus" until 5 minutes ago. I already crafted an idea for my own version of "Alien VII". Gotta' say, my idea's a lot, lot better. Stay tuned.
OMG that looks really creepy! Love it, well done 👍
Thank you! 😄
wow . .excellent stuff!! very clean "render" or however it works.
Just so you know, the way I do it is I make Ai images first (ofen editing them in Photoshop), and then I animate them. The typical animation is 3-4 seconds, though often only a portion is usable. I combine all the animations in video editing software. What you are seeing is a painstakingly produced collage made up of myriad short animations of single images culled from hundreds produced.
So, for example, getting the face hugger and chest buster sequences was very difficult (and why nobody else who has done an Alien trailer did it), and it could take hours just to get a few seconds of animation, or worse, just to get an image I could use to attempt to animate. It's very clunky and time consuming. AI magnificent at doing things that you don't necessarily want, but the more specific it is what you do want, it gets exponentially more difficult to accomplish.
Super cool dude well done, what software did you use to make this?
Thanks! Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment.
I used several AI sources: Midjourny for images, and then Haiper, Pika, and Runway to animate them. Eleven labs for narration voice.
And then the programs I used were Photoshop, Audacity, Audio Director, and Filmora.
Their eyes scared me more than the alien
The comments scare me more than the aliens.
You could redo this 100 times and every time it would be slightly different
More than slightly. Getting AI to do something very specific can be extremely difficult. That's why while at least a half dozen other people have done Alien trailers using AI, nobody else has done the face-hugger or chest-buster scene. I take things further, but that tends to work against me. I refuse to start a trailer with "In a world..." but if people don't hear that, they click away. Most people want a cheeseburger, and without a tomato in it.
@@artvsmachine3703 it's like alternate universes
@@scannaunderscore1 Very much so. And a parallel dimension is quite the brush to paint with, so to speak.
This is freakin’ awesome. Except why doesn’t Dallas look anything like Skerrit? 😄
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
Because I replaced him with H.R. Giger. I guess not everyone knows who Giger is or what he looks like. I'm an artist and an admirer of his work, so of course I recognize him a mile away. And he designed the alien. It's kind of an inside joke, but more of a tribute. He also passed away. And it makes the scene where the alien is pressing on his eye more poignant if you know he's the artist who designed the alien in the first place.
I'm working on a trailer for a version of Alien that never happened. Stay tuned for that.
@@artvsmachine3703 thank you for the informative response! I have subscribed!
@@Coby_Got Cheers. Thanks for subscribing!
Love it. I love those very nice faces I'm seeing. Love this short. I hope I see a longer short film some time.👍🇭🇲🦘✌️
The technology is making that more and more possible. The AI I used in this video is now antiquated. Mostly it will be a question of time and $$$.
Prompts…wow…good job
Cheers. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Goddam genius❤
Let's see if this one gets any views or gets sandboxed with my other videos.
@artvsmachine3703 it better not
I'm a lifelong Alien and Aliens fan and it was fucking brilliant
but your stuff will be found by an expedition of intergalactic art historians in the distant future and heralded as exemplary early a.i. youtube content@@artvsmachine3703
Still better than Romulus.
You gotta watch this one: ruclips.net/video/9LeY6Mf_RjY/видео.html
❤😂😂😂🎉🎉😢😢😮😮😅
😂😂😂 the what if it was made 50s crossed with 70s trailers.
Then it would be really cool.
It's chestburster, not chest buster.
I thought it was cheeseburger! At least I got it a little closer. Next time I'll get it right. How'd you like the video? Oh, you didn't watch it. Might wanna' check it out. I think you're going to dig it if your a fan of ALIEN!
