Great ride except for the horrific heat through TX until NM. This thing is scary fast but extremely stable on the road. This is a thorough review and it looks like a great product. I noticed the Chigee Unit stays on the bike... Thank you for all your effort and for the buyers guide!
@TwoWheelObsession I just had a thought on the camera mounts. If you put the mount tab on the bolt first, then the ring vs. sandwiching it between... I feel it should all tighten pretty well. I hope I made sense there.

Will let you know how I like both once they arrive are installed and used a bit. Might be next Spring for the RV, but do plan to ride most of the winter.

Just attached mine to my 2011 harley davidson tri glide ultra classic. The APP you mentioned in your video was hard to find because it's not clear what you said even when I used closed caption to see what you were saying, it wasn't picking it up correctly either. So I did a google search of dash cam apps and I found what I think it is. Viidure. I installed it and i will check tomorrow to see if it is correct. Thanks for this video which lead me to purchase a motorcylce dash cam that has car play for a decent price. I just refuse to pay the high price for these devices that will be obselete in two years and have to replace them. At this price when it goes bad in a few years I will not be as dissapointed. I have to order the tire sensor batteries as the ones that came with the sensors are like you said, Dead on arrival. I will get as you mentioned energizer or duracell, Thanks.
I’m thinking the time chunk display might be handy if/when you see something while riding and want to loosely reference where to find it after download (ie close-call at 3:44 (of 5:00)… but then how would you know which clip to look at. BTW thanks for the review!
Two ways - first, the file names are all the time chunks. 2nd, you can use the lock clip feature and it puts that one in a separate folder. This is how all dashcams work.
Thanks for the review man, just ordered one though your link for my 2023 xsr900! I’m most excited about the rearview cam and navigation. Are there third party small tps monitors that work with this system for rubber valve stems?
Hi. Great review. Is the C6 better than the C9 max? I was leaning towards the C6 as it has inbuilt GPS. Is the inbuilt GPS alone a good enough feature to choose the C6 over the C9? Thanks
I forgot to say thank you for this review because from what I can see the company took all your suggestions and corrected them like the camera mount for instance show for me it shows a company trying to evolve and not just do a money grab Can you tell me the part where you show in the menus it has a screen that looks like a cluster showing altitude and speed and tire info it also shows on the left side your RPM how do we link up so it reads this from our motorcycles? As this would be great if I could cover my existing dash with this to add some modernisation?
Hi, this is a great review, and the guide you provide is great. I have some questions for the Aoocci C6 1. Can you use voice commands (hey google and Siri)? 2. Does the C6 has parking sensor? 3. Do you have the Brightness info? 4. Is it Theft-Proof? Honestly, between Chigee and Aoocci, which one do you recommend?
They all do voice commands, it goes through your phone not the dash unit. No parking. Brightness numbers mean nothing there’s no standard measurement. It’s bright enough for any conditions. None of them are theft proof. The chigee is better but much more expensive for the difference.
My C6 pro arrived, but in a generic box. The screens look different and I can’t find the speedo layout or single image rear view camera display. It looks like the latest versions have these features removed 😢
That has nothing to do with the units, it all depends on your coms and phone, how well that works for each person. The dash units are just screen mirrors.
@@TwoWheelObsession I saw carpuride had an early issue whereby Bluetooth via the carpuride device was causing issues . They patched it to make Bluetooth between headset and phone only with BT transmit from phone to carplay and voice commands works as expected , so séms.it is device specific . Just thought I would ask if yours worked with headset , but thanks for reply
Ok… a couple questions… can you describe how the built in “dash” screen works (maybe even another video). It looks like it has bar graphs for speed and RPM… are those functional?
Because it has a built in GPS, things using it as a sensor work - like speed. The Tach doesn't do anything on this model, others have optional plugins for an OBD2 port that make it work.
I just got mine and the power cable only has a red wire (ACC) and a black wire (GND) no yellow wire. What was the yellow wire for and do I need it? Also looks like the camera mounts have been updated so that's a good thing.
Can this be wired straight to the battery? I know it's likely not ideal. But, I have an 06 fjr1300 and they suffered from "spider bite" problems, causing a lot of things to not work when they occurred. Because of this, I'd prefer not to wire anything directly in to the bike. I'm quite used to unplugging things so they're not drawing power when the bike is off. Lol
Hello from The UK! Thanks for a great review - I've just fitted one and have a couple of questions. First off, how do you change the speed from KPH to MPH on the dashboard view. Secondly, the remote control - I guess it has a battery inside? I can't see any way of changing the battery. Any ideas?
If I order the fuse block and attach my Aooci C9 , will it automatically turn off aftet the engine is off. I want to add fog lights, if I forget to turn them off will they turn off automatically? AB
Have you found a way to change the KM to MPH or the altitude to FT? Also, I ordered the C6 pro, and it appears they changed the OS to the same one as the 9 pro unfortunately. There’s no speedometer dashboard that I can find in it.
It’s definitely a different OS from the one in this video. It’s got the OS from the one in your video on the C9 pro. I’d like to be able to change the altitude and the speed units settings at least though.
Great video man! i didn't notice you say if you could change it to standard measurement mph, lbs, fahrenheit. this is a problem for me. how can they make it this good and not put this feature?? Thanks.
So...newbie here...if i buy this.. i automatically have navigation anywhere in the world without having to worry about my phone's data/roaming all of that
No, nothing changes with that, these do not have anything built in. It all runs off your phone. Whatever you want to use for nav. That being said, many nav apps don't require data and have offline maps. I use Scenic.

No Aoocci packaging, Nothing about the device I received indicates it's an Aoocci product (other that the QR code which takes you to the Aoocci "instructions"). The updated interface seems like it went backwards. Even more unintuitive than what you showed. They no longer have the "panel" or "dash" screen (which was one of the main reasons I decided to try this unit). For bikes that don't have easy-to-read gauges (I'm on a Stratoliner... which isn't terrible, but looking at the tank to check how fast I'm going is cumbersome at best). The TPMS readings now are practically useless. On my test ride, I got one of the pressure warning pop-ups and it was so small that it was dangerous to try to see what it was showing while riding. It seems to have a mind of its own when it comes to which screen is displayed. CarPlay worked ok, though trying to use Siri via my Cardo Edge was problematic. Only speed display I can find is when in one of the camera views, shows Kph (have yet to find where that can be changed), and it's contrast is so bad that it's again, practically unreadable while riding. So for me, the built-in GPS is basically moot other than being able to show coordinates on the videos maybe? For the price, getting the cameras and having wireless carplay, it's not a bad deal. Just don't go in with high expectations IMHO. I'm fairly certain I'm going to go with the Chigee as it seems to be a much more stable and supported platform (where this one seems to be the cheapest of the cheap that most of the discounted devices use (maybe with a simple QR code change to direct the user to a specific "brand"'s website).
