Got A9 pro max today, and installed right away. I looks so cool on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.. Haven't tried it yet cause is midnight..will see tomorrow hoyw it goes
Thanks for the review. Just bought a few hours ago the C6PRO. Not feeling sorry for choosing that one instead of this one. Yep, the built-in GPS is the choosing factor.
Thanks for the informative video! Could you please help me out if the mounting bracket (metal plate with 4 screws shown at 9:22) conforms to AMPS standard (38mm x 30mm spacing).
I like the quality of your videos. I like this unit a lot. Which one do you like the most? Do you miss the gps in the c6? I live in texas and is it heat sensitive?
Nice video Brian. How would you compare this one to the Chigee. I think I am favouring the Chigee after a bad experience with the delivery of my C6Pro.
@@TwoWheelObsession I really appreciate your time and your expertise in making this presentation. However, the Aoocci video recording quality is awful like all those rebranded cheap Chinese dashcams. But like you said somewhere, for an insurance accident job the video is good enough and I add unless you need to know the other party's number plate.
Thanks for this. I have the Chigee on my Enfield and was open to a different unit to put on my Tuareg. Think I’ll stick with the Chigee, just wish there was a mount that it could be removed quickly from and maybe be able to use vertically
@@jslawsby_W5GI I believe the new Chigee 6 inch version will come with a detachable camera system so that my be the answer. I don't fancy leaving something like a Chigee on my bike in the UK. It would be gone in a flash.
Hi...thanks for the review...I have the c6pro and use android auto..the remote button for music and phone calls doesn't work on android auto..only carplay..just thought i would let you know...great indepth review 😀
My C6 doesn't have nothing else than GPS and video recording. And in the (only) main screen the TPMS (only front wheel is working) .Even not labeled as AOOCCI, when powered up. Also, it came with a two wire power cord and looses time setting all the time... They said it was mistakely sent from a customed batch but it should work perfectly .. NOT!
@@TwoWheelObsession I did it and this is AOOCCI's answer: The three wires of the buck cable are positive, negative and ACC. The wires are labeled above. The yellow wire should be the ACC wire. The positive and negative terminals are connected to the positive and negative terminals of the bike's power supply, and the ACC wire is connected to the bike's ignition wire. However I mounted it and works. I have a Multistrada V4 that has a dedicated GPS connector near the dashboard with an ingnition wire and a negative. I connected the ACC wire and +12V wire together and works properly
Mostly interested in the CarPlay, TPMS and GPS (6 pro model) capabilities. Don’t need the cameras. Does the unit function normally if cameras aren’t connected?
One think I noticed you didn't mention as to the difference in the two dash cams, is the C9 has split screen which allows you to have maps on one side and rear dash cam on the other. Or maybe I'm wrong?
Hi I'm really stuck between this C9 Max and the Carpuride 603 with cameras etc? Or is the C6 PRO with its own GPS a safer unit for navigation? Any feedback would be great thanks
I have a c6 pro and happy with it. It would appear the c9 is actually a down grade in some respects, no sun visor , no remote , no gps . I do prefer the c9 main screen.. you said there uploading screen savers at factory, is it possible to do it diy as heard its possible?
Could the enclosed spanner be an error and carried over for the TPMS sensor separate locknuts as on the C6 Pro. I'm still trying to decide but leaning towards the C6 as I've had confirmation from someone that checked for me that the C6 will navigate to the same detailed level with phone loaded off-line maps with phone data (flight mode) off as I'm still on PAYG (I'm in the UK) as I rarely use it except for emergencies so not on any data package. This would also be ideal for those areas with no phone signal coverage for those usually using live mapping data. The C9 looks like it would probably do the same but at the expense of phone battery running GPS which could be switch off for C6 use.
My freshly received C6Pro also came with a just two wire power cable. The problem is that the device looses the time setting whenever it's shut down and restarted. What about this one? Mine is full of other problems...
You are very confused, like others, about carplay products. These have nothing to do with the apps, everything is run off YOUR phone. Yes many nav apps have offline maps.

The aooccis have no heat issues. I do like having the gps for speed and speed features but that’s personal preference
I liked those headlights. What type are they?

Great video Brian! Can the app be used as a remote for the C9, and can you link the app? TY!
No it's just for pulling clips. It's viidure in the app stores and linked in the manual via QR
Very nice review! I am working on an artisan fixing system. You can indicate the spacing of the 4 holes on which the rear aluminum plate is attached
39.5mm x 51mm
@@TwoWheelObsession Thanks!
It's a shame it isn't amps sized as that seem like the common sizing.
No GPS or sun visor. Is that progress?
It's a trade off. I charted all the differences twowheelobsession.com - I didn't have any use for the shade though.
Nice video Brian. How would you compare this one to the Chigee. I think I am favouring the Chigee after a bad experience with the delivery of my C6Pro.
The Chigee is still tops, hands down. Just a LOT more money.

For info I received the device C9 Max just yesterday and the power cord is three poles like C6 Pro (with the ACC yellow cable)
Please contact them and make sure it wasn't mixed up

I sort of remember reading something like that, but I didn't see it in the unit,. I would never use that anyway, the screen space is too limited.
Hi, do you have a link for the RAM ball mount you attached to the device?
It unscrews from the base amzn.to/3BqbgBp

That sounds like a bad unit, the internal capacitor should be holding the date just fine. Contact them.
Mmm not sure if I'd consider this an 'upgrade' just different 🤷🏻♂️

Hi
I have this C9 unit couple of days ago.
I have problems with voice commands on android. When try to give a command nothing happens. Anybodeas?
Sorry, I’m an iPhone guy, no issues here.
Deal breaker, no offline maps support. Seems only the c601 has offline maps support..
