Hi You left out VANTRUE and viofo brands which are truly good Warranty of body control module and battery warranty is void I n Volkswagen if youtake power from 12 volt socket which is continuously powdered on (little wierd policy ) Many dash cams have front camera suction mounts on windshield so we can avoid the heavy adhesive which gets activated from the heat of the sun
Yes, true - cos most of viofo and vantrue were beyond the budget I had used in the comparison. Will include a premium set next time.! And thanks foe the feedback on yhe car warranty with VW.
@ before taking it to the VW service I will remove the front camera which has the suction mount and the rear one some I have to scrape of the 3 m adhesive tape and tuck the wires inside the trim to avoid the warranty issue in VW !
The equivalent comparison of that will be to the A510s due to the form factor (smaller display) - and that turns out to be almost 5k more for just a resolution improvement.

why have you not recommended 70MAI A810 ,which is the best although at 1k higher price than s500
