My question is, should I go for one of these two with buy back benefits or should ask for free service and buy any other product from other company, when it stops working after free warranty?

Purchased Deebot Y1 pro based on your recommendation, thank you. I had also purchased Xiaomi S10 based on your recommendation 6 months ago. Below are the comparisons. Cleaning/Battery/Noise wise Deebot Y1 pro is best. App feature wise Xiaomi is the best. (Very minimal controls in Deebot) Y1 Pro mops and vacuums at a single time, no option to configure 'Mop only' or 'vacuum only' mode like S10. Y1 Pro does Map and vacuum and mop all at same time, very irritating when Mapping a location freshly. In S10 we can run the machine to map the floor first. Y1 Pro ground clearance is higher, so it gets stuck under low bed, chair. My house kitchen floor is 1cm higher than the Living room, S1 climbed that and mapped. Y1pro considered that as an obstacle and did not map. (googled and had to come with a workaround to map the floor) If you remove Y1Pro water cabin and fill water, it instantly wets the mop pad even if the compartment is not present inside the machine, S10 wets the pad only if the machine is turned on. S10 has a 'Professional mopping' mode that cleans in a Y shaped pattern, Y1pro has a single traditional mode. One very good thing in Y1Pro is, We can change the Dock station location anywhere and start the machine from there. The machine takes time and considers that as the start location unlike S10 where we had to remap all over. Ecovacs Deebot Y1 pro needs a bit of figuring out to get the best use. Not easy for all. S10 has its ease of use. Cleaning is best in Y1 pro obviously because of its better and latest specs.

Good question Neeta! Yes, they do need 16A plugpoint - especially the ones that use heat for washing the mop. If you are not using the heat cleaning, you can consider converting it to a 5A slot using an adapter - although that is not recommended by the brands. It's a chance I take and so far have not had issues.

@HarshGoel - no monthly consumables except if you use the floor cleaning liquid. Changes about once in 2 years (or based on usage) of the side brushes and main roller brush, if damaged.

I was able to get the N20 pro for 15K from flipkart. It is really good with Hair de tangling which was an issue with the Y1 pro and the brush had to be cleaned all the time. Also, it doesn’t come with Auto lift mop features instead it can detect carpets and avoid it.
Bought narwal Freo X plus but it did not come with basic bins for dust and mop. After over a month fighting with Amazon they did not replace the product and I had to return the product and purchase a new one while paying 2k extra.

@HarshGoel - no monthly consumables except if you use the floor cleaning liquid. Changes about once in 2 years (or based on usage) of the side brushes and main roller brush, if damaged.

How about dreame x40 ultra and ecovacs x5 pro omni ? They do advertise it as best for edge cleaning, as it's a must for Indian households? Any comments on this?

I was able to get the N20 pro for 15K from flipkart. It is really good with Hair de tangling which was an issue with the Y1 pro and the brush had to be cleaned all the time. Also, it doesn’t come with Auto lift mop features instead it can detect carpets and avoid it.

Bought narwal Freo X plus but it did not come with basic bins for dust and mop. After over a month fighting with Amazon they did not replace the product and I had to return the product and purchase a new one while paying 2k extra.

Hi, you can wash it after a full home clean. It takes fresh water for cleaning through the cycle. But you may consider cleaning it once every room for a better cleaning.
