Great video Mike. Some great ideas and helpful hints as well as knowing I’m not the only one caring so many things for everyday USA and self defense. Thanks for the video. Be well,be safe. 😊
Very good Michael- Telling the truth about how things really are. Always be prepared as much as possible because when things happen it happens fast and do what it takes to not become a victim and pay attention to your surroundings.
That’s a great idea with the flash light, especially for women. Thanks for the tip. Although i think any woman walking around at night needs their head examined..way too many crazies out there. Take care Mike
When I wasn’t laughing this was an awesome video. Good practical EDC. You are definitely a Sheep Dog standing between the sheep 🐑and the ever present wolves.🐺
A few months ago I started carrying a small fixed blade neck knife, I really like it. What are your thoughts, you ever carry one? My firearm is an older model 39 S &W 9mm.
Working in Detroit as a fast food equipment tech for a company that sells Tacos 🤔..... Out at my work van a young urbanite approached, no shirt on, typical pants hugging his ass about to fall off.... HEY MAN... YOUS GOTZ SOME CHANGE? Me seeing he doesn't have a piece handy without sticking his hands in his pockets..... (Stepping right to him) No dude, I just got paid today and all I have is hundred dollar bills....looking right in his eyes. He knew. He kept walking. Stay frosty. Especially what is going on currently. That's another EDC upgrade conversation, all together.
Thanks for the self defense, and unassuming weapons course😂👏🏼 And Marine Corps service Mike Z💥✌🏼 Semper Fidelis ...Yep I need that stuff, remote hiking!
Ya need a white light, dude. Compact with all the lumins. If you "carry" you need to have positive ID. The situation chooses you. Even if you'll never be in it. Editing to add...... I should have watched the whole thing before I commented. I'll admit before I just delete. Carry on bro.
"The Marine Corps is part of the Navy. I don't know. I'm conflicted on this statement. On the one hand, the word "marine" says it all. "Of the water." On the other hand, I have RARELY heard a Marine EVER acknowledge the Navy paid for their shit! 😅
Hey Brother, found you via Sarah, aka WonderHussy. I'm a 20 year man, Navy SERE Instructor. Good video, I usually have 3 knives on me at all times, One of them being a Leatherman multitool. Do you keep a survival kit in your car? I really like the fat pencil tactic. If you are ever up in the Bay Area, let's get together for a beer or lunch or something and tell sea stories.
Interesting! Especially the USMC experience. Thanks!

I don't carry a fixed blade but it's a good idea - I can draw my locking folder and deploy it in seconds
That was a great video, Michael. Is the gun a 9mm?

I'm surprised your everyday carry doesn't include a folding utility knife! Pretty essential being a carpenter!
Is that a Colt Mustang?
Yes
