  • In this video I show you how to release a tight psoas muscle through a fascia decompression technique using a rolled up towel. This is a highly effective way to release your psoas and only takes a few minutes per day.

I was excited to view this!!!
I have been doing the basic towel over navel position for a week now ( from a old video from Blocking Therapy) and it has been so effective to relieve tension all over...and tightness in my back and hips especially. My hips are so tight its scary ..but this movement has been a game changer all other approaches i have tried. I learned deep belly breathing some time ago and yes...its critical in movements involving fascia. I also like the slow deliberate movements because it helps us connect mind and body in a respectful way....no forcing the body to stress and bulk.
Thank u for the upgraded belly exercises....and yes please...more on psoas aids ..

I’ve just recently discovered block therapy and I feel so drawn to it. I’ve been starting off
with the towel to release fascia but I’ll most likely continue with the block as I progress.
Thanks so much. Yes part 2 please
    😊🙏🏼

I was eager to watch this. After fracturing my pelvis ( and nonexistent medical care, no pt no nada) I was diagnosed with a poas contracture. I don’t stand straight any more. I started the first video and found this. Will it help? Have you decided to do part 2 yet?

Yes this will definitely help - have you done the positions and exercises in this video? Any improvements?

This is awesome! Is the release the same as a stretch or a strengthening technique? If not, what order should you release, stretch and strengthen? Should a person get all the release out first before they stretch the area? After a person gets a long range of motion, is that when they should strengthen?

Yes with a release you will notice more range of motion and freedom. I would recommend releasing first with the rolled up towel, then you can implement stretching, then strengthening. I would always recommend you release before you strengthen. You don't need to release "everything" at once. That's pretty touch to do, but as long as your are releasing, then strengthening, repeat... you are doing great work and progressing in the right direction.

Do you have any releases for areas around the tailbone. No one can figure out why i'm having so much pain. I have been doing the stomach and pelvic releases for some time, feels better w/ my back but no help w/ tailbone. thanks.

Wait. Is this different from block therapy?

No this is the same theory just with a rolled up towel.
