Thanks for this video. I'm looking to do this for the first time. Could you also do video of adding the E85 seals to it as well? Update, took me 5 minutes. Everything in here is spot on step by step. Had a 2nd hpfp housing to tinker with, and it was extremely easy. Thank yall again
When I tried to put back the HPFP. I could not be able to do it due to the piston on the counter side is up. I tried to spin the crankshaft but it does not move, or down. Any other ideas to push it and install it like this video as easy?
Would I be able to just switch the whole pumps (stock with one that has the hpfp already installed) or would it be better to just swap it into my stock one anyway since I’m looking into getting a slightly used one
No tune required for the HPFP, but we do recommend a pro tune always to make sure your car runs appropriately for your climate. You can contact us or PD Tuning for more information!
Hey so when I try to put the pump back on, it doesn’t sit properly, it won’t even reach the dial pin without having to compress it, which I see you did not have to do here. Could it be I built it wrong or didn’t push the pin in the housing all the way? Any ideas ?
Honestly it did that with my stock pump . I just pushed it in so it could be flat and then I put the screws in . As long as it’s sitting flush it should be ok
Hello! So I had to buy a new hpfp because I stripped the 18mm bolt so I got my new one and installed the hpfpi to that and I installed it and it has the normal ticking noise of a hpfp, but when I give Barry give it gas there is like a strange noise, kind of like a bb or like scraping metal I can’t really explain it, but on my accessport everything seems to be normal on wot I’m getting 1774 and idle is roughly 420-427 any ideas on what it is? I mean everything runs fine. And I already broke it in at 130 miles
I have the same exact issue. It kinda sounds like a hollow metal sound right? Fuel pressure looks good and I've put 375 miles on the new internals, no issues. Its just that noise..... Did you ever find out what it was?
@@gsrjohn honesty not yet, I might just take it back out and see what the problem is, I know normally those hpfpi are kind of loud, but I’m going to take it out and see what it is.

Nice video!! I’m just here to see what Andre do with dem hands thooo
Haha this video is perfect lol. I literally just ordered my autotech from y’all this morning lol.
I already got hpfp internals but I had to watch it to support the boys!
What did you use to "lubricate the shaft"?

@@Dragaroi yes you can swap a pump over that already has them. Never a bad idea to rebuild or clean the pump
do i need tune for this at all ?

Is there no need for a gasket as the o-ring is being used?
On which area?

That white part on my blue clip fell off, will I be able to use it like that or where can I get a new clip and that white part?
