Hydraulic Cylinder Rebuild

One of the hydraulic cylinders was leaking on the front loader so I decided to fix it myself.
This video shows the steps involved. The hardest part was getting the split/expansion ring back inside of the cylinder body.
I used a ring clamp to hold pieces of wood around it. That gave me something to pry against with a screw driver to compress the ring so it would fit into the cylinder body. It actually took three of us to get this step completed!
There were two separate kits needed for this job.
1. A bore kit
2. A rod kit
Please note, you have to buy the kit before you can take the cylinder apart. The plastic tapered ring is a tool for this project.
