Valve is going to release Steam OS to all and sundry....cos let's face it, Windows takes up a lot f space and can be a pain at times. And, hurray, I just sold my 1tb Steam Deck OLED for a tidy sum so I can watch and see who is going to come up with the best handheld.....Lenovo with the Legion Go S are going to be the first to use Steam OS in the coming months

It's much more powerful than steam deck though. It can play cyberpunk on high at 1080p. Steam deck can't do that!

NPU has been on CPUs for a while. The CPU is meant to be power efficient and the GPU on mobile Intel parts are typically 8 xe cores, NPU or not
The NPU can handle AI upscaling (and frame gen). For example, Windows AutoSR for Copilot+ PCs. Support for Intel Lunar Lake will soon be added.
