Got an Android 15 update for my Edge 50 Pro 2 weeks ago, which is also highly unusual for Motorola. Normally takes them till the Summer... Hope this is a glimmer of hope they have finally woken up and seen the light on their updates... As for duration of support, they changed their policy towards the end of 2024, any phones released before then (which is actually most of the Edge 50 series) still fall under the old policy of 3 OS updates / 4 years security patches.
Out of all these, at least in EU, the OP Nord 4 destroys the other ones. You have the best mix out of camera, battery life & charging, display, performance, design, build quality and software updates

If the used HM6Pro isn't within your budget, I'd recommend taking a look at the Poco X7 Pro, Oneplus 12R, Pixel 8a/8, Vivo phones or the upcoming Iphone SE 2025. You can use GSM Arena to compare the specs but the Poco X7 Pro is the best overall phone if you don't mind a midrange camera and a mediocre software experience (you can use a custom launcher/ROM if needed)

I would also say Honor 200 and 200 Pro. I've got a used Pro myself a few weeks ago and it's been great. 5200mAh battery lasts one day and more and charges in 45 min at 100W. Performance it's good (SD 8s gen 3 on the Pro). Triple camera, main and 2.5x tele are great, ultra wide needs light. 66W wireless charging, reverse wireless charging. Photos and videos look good even at night while portraits are AMAZING. Screen is 120hz 6.78 in and "quad curved" with 4000 nits peak HDR brightness and more that good enough under the sun. Things lacking: -software support could be better (3 years) -software bugs could be vastly reduced -design is a bit "old" although I like it Everything else is either top notch or more than good enough/near perfect.

This Oppo is like an average looking girlfriend, besides stupid but expensive.

Actually you can't. Many producers lock phone, so you need to root them, if possible, but after that you can't use eg. Google pay. And to multiple phone, you can't get just custom ROM w vanilla Android. There is also warranty issue. So in general, no it is not possible to do in such easy way, that can everybody handle.
On the A55 you really missed the opportunity to say that the battery can keep you going all day long but the 25W wired charging can "keep you staying" (next to an outlet) all day long 😅
The best one in my opinion is the poco x7 pro 300$ for a performance comparable to a last gen flagship and a camera comparable with a new gen flagship same for Battery and charging speed and screen quality

Hearing the opinion from @TECH SPURT about Poco F6 makes it way cooler especially in this mid-range segment ( the affordable segment)
