Lovely video Shannon. You are so caring and you make such a lot of effort to make your course right. I only wish I was closer. I am a Lancashire girl but married a Cardiff boy. I love coloured pencil work and would surely come to your tutoriall
Hi Shannon.. greetings from Ireland. Your art is beautiful... I have the canon pro 1000 printer and in settings i was able to knock off border settings... I think because its fine art paper they recommend a border. Maybe u got sorted since..😊
Hi Shannon👋It's a joy to watch yr vlog. Paddy made me laugh at loud😆. Your gorgeous coasters will look fantastic in fancy restaurants! Your rabbit is SO cute🥰 and will make amazing cards. Do you sell as well in shops? Here, we have an Art centre, The Quay Arts isle of Wight and they sell artists' cards. They are really friendly and approachable. Just an idea..Thank you for sharing and keep up with the good work❤
Lovely vlog, they are my favourite type of videos to watch 😊 Would you maybe consider doing a video about the pro's and con's on selling on etsy vs your website for artists? And which one you'd recommend for those starting out? I've heard some bad stuff about etsy so I'm not sure! The bunny drawing looks beautiful ❤ I'm glad everything turned out okay for the workshop, I'd love to go to one if I lived closer!
Thank you so much I'm glad you enjoy them 🥰 That's a really good idea that I'll make a note of! Thank you for the fab suggestion 🤍 Aww thank you so much! Maybe in future I can do online zoom workshops for those who live further away 😊
I loved your vlog. New subscriber... very enjoyable. I had to laugh I was also addicted to MAFSA I never watch reality stuff usually. Your artwork is beautiful, just ordered some lovely cards x 😍
Loving this video so far! I’m just at the part where you’re talking about struggling with folding the cardboard box and I could be wrong but it looks like you’re folding it on the wrong side? If you fold it the other way (so that you’re folding into the dented line, if that makes sense?) that might help :) I also did this with these boxes so you’re not alone haha
Thank you so much! You're absolutely right I just tried it the other way and it folds like a dream 🤦🏼♀️ You've saved me so much time hahaha thank you! 🤍
Thank you so much! I get a lot of them from royalties free stock photo websites like unsplash, and some from photographers and a website called wildlife reference photos where they’re £5 each 😊
Excellent video Shannon! Your attention to detail and explanations could not be better! I certainly wish I was at the workshop drawing the bunny! 🐰. I have 2 questions...I'm trying to learn layering better. Did you put white pencil down first in the beginning of the bunny's neck? Also, I LOVE my Strathmore vellum paper and considering trying the Strathmore smooth. I don't want to waste money on something I won't like, but I don't want to miss out a something good. My gut tells me smooth may be harder to layer? Have a great day and please keep presenting your excellent content? Bob😊
Hi Bob, thank you so much! I used cold grey I from the polychromos for the base, so it just adds a nice light wash of colour to build on top of ☺️ I've heard such mixed opinions on the smooth! Some of my patrons find it difficult to blend on because it's more slippery, but others say it's really easy to blend on. It seems to be very subjective! I might test it out in the future to compare the two I think that would be make for a good video 😊 Thank you, have a lovely day yourself!
@@shannonmullin Thank you so much Shannon! That helps a lot! I'm trying to learn what goes under what for a base, or if there is a general rule? Thank you 😊
Hi Shannon love your videos. Wanted to ask you have they changed the Tintoretto Gesso paper as i ordered some and it looks different to my previous order less textured
Thank you Shannon for a very interesting and informative video. A couple of questions:- What size of sticker do you use on the front of the print? What size is the paper of the sticker on the back of the print with info about the print and you? I am trying to put together various things for a craft fair in November. I did one last year but the one area I know needs attention is labelling and branding. Any advice would be so welcome. Thank you so much for sharing all this info. Blessings. L
Hi Linda, thank you so much! I've popped you an email back, good luck with your craft fair - make sure to make it super obvious what it is you do and that the drawings are your own 🥰
Thank you for drawing my baby Onsa so beautifully

Hi Shannon! I love your artwork, you are unbelievably skilled and talented!! Question, where do you find reference photos to draw?
Thank you so much! I get a lot of them from royalties free stock photo websites like unsplash, and some from photographers and a website called wildlife reference photos where they’re £5 each 😊
