Love the fact that your bring your needle work with you. I had to go to Moffett Cancer Center in Tampa a year ago that required lots of time sitting and waiting. They had a few University Students engaging with us offering books, magazines and snacks. In addition they had a craft room with everything imaginable. They had crochet hooks, knitting needles and tons of yarn! Although I had not crocheted since my Grandmother taught me I thought I would have forgotten, but once getting started I made my first square. I am so excited to see you carry a lovely bag as you travel to keep your calm and restful spirit! It has been one of the most lovely things - Thanks for reminding us of these cherished crafts.
🤎My brother is a carpenter and he built me one of the oval boxes with a handle. I cherish it so much. I use it on my dining room table for salt, pepper, sugar, napkins and such. Yours are gorgeous too.🤎 The 🍱 box is stunning, love the lacquer and the design. And such cute 🐈 pictures!😻
Hello, glad to see your new vlog. I am saving it for later this evening. It's 4:11 pm here in Mauritius, and I still have a busy sink to clear 😅 ... your video will be my relaxing moment with a nice cup of tea ❤
Looks like you had quite a lovely vacation. I think it's fun to check out shops and pick up treasures you can't find in your local area when traveling. Thanks for taking us along!
I will be very interested to see what you do with the Sashiko fabric when you're done stitching! I loved the green yarn, it seems so much brighter than what you usually choose. Enjoy all your new craft supplies!
Thank you for watching! ❤ I'm not sure what to do with the sashiko cloth yet. Some people use them as dish cloths or do nothing with them and just collect them. 😊 I think the green is a nice little pop of color, a nice change. 😁
I learned a trick to help keep the fabric taut in embroidery hoops. You wrap the inside hoop with bias tape {I use half in wide tape unfolded} and wrap it around the inner hoop and hand sew the end. This is a less slippery surface than the wood and works well.
Those new fabrics are so you. I’m really happy that you have the chance to get away and see family things are wonderful that you bought. Can’t wait to see you. Use them all. Take care. Have a nice week.X ❤
I am glad you enjoyed your trip Kiko and also able to purchase some items you are not usually able to. I am doing odd bits of crochet at the moment with colouring etc. Busy at work so alas, less time to crochet. Looking forward to your future projects though. Take care until your next video. :)
I love watching you doing every craft so mindful and beautiful, your music is also so peaceful and calming...your jasmine stitch you include in your crocheted items, I lovveee..quite a difficult one to try, but you make it look so easy..Blessings and enjoy your lovely crafts.
Thank you very much for watching! Honesty the jasmine stitch was really confusing to me at first that I almost wanted to quit learning it but I really like the stitch so I was determined to learn it. 😅
I love watching your beautiful hands!!! I do many crafts and find solace in the doing!!! I love# the haul and everything!!!! Please continue to make beautiful thin g s!!!
Buona domenica.
Muy bonitas y utiles las compras, los nuevos colores preciosos, lo que me asombra es que te dejaran subir al avion tijeras, agujas y ganchillo, en españa al pasar el control te obligan a dejar cualquier cosa puntiaguda, precioso video❤
Thank you very much for watching! Yes thankfully we're allowed to bring those on the plane. The scissors need to be smaller than 4". Sewing needles, crochet hooks are ok!
Hi Kimo, I love the colors you chose for your Sashiko piece. I can’t wait till to see how it turns out. Got a pre-printed one that I bought from Amazon that I want to try. I think buying pre-printed ones is a lot easier because you don’t have to draw the pattern. I’m going to check out the Amazon Japan again and see if I can’t find some more like you bought. That’s fun that your sister-in-law took you to Hobby Lobby. They are gigantic stores with so many things to choose from. Looks like you had a fun time shopping. 🛍️ See you next week !
Thank you very much for watching! It's my first time trying a pre-printed one and I really enjoyed it! Love how you can go straight to stitching without the drawing the grid/lines. Hope you will enjoy yours! ❤️
Hello Kiko and thanks for your wonderful Videos! ... the "crochet-rings" were developed by a German RUclipsr "crazy Sylivie" together with the German company "addi" (this company makes wonderful knitting needles and crochet hooks) in order to use the ring as a thread guide when working two-colour knitting patterns. They are not intended/suitable for crocheting ... 🤭🤗🫠 ... it takes a little praktice, but it works great! Have fun "practicing"❣️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🧶🧶🧶🧶Warm greetings from the capital of Germany, Berlin, from Cordula (who loves all handicrafts just as much). 🤓👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Thank you very much for watching! I had no idea the rings existed and what they were intended for! so that's great to know! Always happy to learn new things! Thank you! 😊
That was a fantastic Show and Tell. I loved seeing all your goodies. I love your channel too. You are always interesting because you show lots of things especially your garden. Thank you for sharing, you are very relaxing to watch whilst I sit in my big comfy chair and enjoy a freshly brewed coffee. Take care, sending big hugs from Australia. xxxx
❤❤❤ I'm excited to see the finished Granny Square blanket. The earthy colours are so rich. And what you'll do with all you bought from the trip. 😊 Thank you!!
Your sis-in-law is so thoughtful. The ri g looks good and functional. Thanks for sharing your calming video and hobbies 😊.....and it was lovely to see all your new items.
Oh that's so nice nice you got to get away and visit family! I've seen those crochet rings but have never tried one...the cat ring is cute. What a great shopping haul and wow those sewing boxes are sooo beautiful!!
I like the creative Woman very much. She show´s us so much beautiful handcraft. But to learn from hear, she must somtimes take mor time to show us the things better.
I love Hobby Lobby. Mom calls it Hobby Hobby, funny she is. You are so intentional when you do your craft... Me just fly by the South west wind in Arizona. What state to you visit? Thank you for your time with us.
Wow, it was like unwrapping presents. I think to practice my sashiko stitching, I should buy some with pattern on it. I find more ideas on your channel than any other. Q: Where did you get your lace bobbins?
Thank you very much for watching! I really recommend the pre-printed fabrics. Very convenient and since its printed on, the lines and spacing is accurate. 😊 I got the lace bobbins from Etsy!
Someone told me how to find the inner yarn. Look at the paper which is wrapped around the yarn. The inner yarn is on the part above the writing on the paper. ❤😊❤
Gosh I love how calm your videos are. I've been working on some english paper piecing, so I think those are my favourite. The little cats you made recently were adorable too! I learned a trick to help keep the fabric taut in embroidery hoops. You wrap the inside hoop with bias tape {I use half in wide tape unfolded} and wrap it around the inner hoop and hand sew the end. This is a less slippery surface than the wood and works well.
I use torn strips of old sheets. Not as thick as bias tape.
Thank you so much for watching! Oh my gosh!! Thank you for the tip!! I need to try that out!! 🙏❤️
Wrapping the inner hoop also protects your fabric 👍
Wow, so many lovely supplies! Can’t wait to see what you make with them.

Wonderful selection of treasures you got. Thanks for sharing and opening new possibilities for us!

Love all you do the thread your using it looks coarse I have some of that ..the colours gentle enjoy your break thankyou for sharing ❤
Thank you very much for watching! Yes the sashiko threads are a little thicker so its better for fabrics that's a little more coarse like linen. 😊
