AA Alex I don't think it would work on that but you want to get bars that plug into the studs on the back of your droid and come up with a way to hook it up

It's funny how people in the US complain about 50 $ for the 2019 model while it's priced at 60 € in Germany. That's 68,40 $ US! Thanks, Lego...
No matter where it sucks. Damn thing jumped 20 bucks in price for almost as much pieces in the 2008 version. Garbage. I remember I use to get them hella cheap

MandR doesn't like sand because it's course, rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere.
I love that the Wookiee is still using the classic pirate flintlock rifle. It would be cool if they did that mold but in a coppery green like the Wookies used in Episode III.
I feel like the flaws of the 2014 model could easily be fixed by swapping out some of the pieces with the 2019 model given they use the same pieces just with different colors and prints/stickers. That would fix the color scheme on top and make the 2014 model far superior. The underbelly would need some work too but it doesn't matter as much.

The AT AP has this ship on its cockpit they definitely go together
I got the 2014 one for my birthday and I was so happy with how it looked. Then, what felt like a day later(but really like 5years lol) lego releases a practically identical set, the only difference really was the minifigs
I found the 2014 one on clearance shortly before it retired (was £45 over here, got it for £22.50). Such a good set but I definitely wouldn't have paid full price.
I hope they eventually make one that can drop a row of battle droids, like how it can hold them in battlefront II

When taking into account price for the model, you have to use the inflation price. You don't use the inflation price which makes it biased to older sets, if you released the 2019 in 2008 it would be cheaper, so it would have a better relative price per piece, thus it makes it unfair to use price at time of release, which would end up giving older sets a better rating than deserved.

I got the 2014 one for my 9th birthday, but it got disassembled, so now all the pieces are on other creations and stuff. I'm thinking about rebuilding it soon.

The little thing where the landing gear is on the 2019 one is actually the droid bay cuz what's a gunship without a troop bay? Some fancy space boat that looks like it has space on the inside.
....... No it’s not. Troops hang from racks that can replace the missiles/bombs. So you can either have more firepower, or you can bring 8 or 10 B2 Battle Droids into battle. (I don’t know exactly how many B2’s it carries, but it’s around 10)

I got a spider droid set from 2013, the 2014 gunship , and a AP walker with all the mini digs for 60$ today on offer up. Quite a steal.

I would love to get B2 battle driod in any 2019 Lego sets. I'm really disappointed by not getting one, and I honestly do hope they will include them in future sets.

I do like the flick fire missiles but only when it’s implemented properly like here and in the republic attack shuttle.

A question about the Tarfful minifig. I fail to see the difference between this Tarfful (sw0993) from 75233 and Tarfful (sw0530) from the 2014 AT-AP (75043). Yet every website differenciate them. Where is the difference?

2019 is my favourite gunship, but i would rather have one clone trooper with three kashyyk battle droids in it.
@MandRproductions, do you know of any sites where I can get unopened older sets? Looking out for some of the older MTT sets but cannot find any unopened unfortunately.

There should be an option to have a droid rack underneath for the b1 battle droids because this ship also acts as a transport, a small detail that grinds my gears is that this vehicle is a droid on its own! It has its own brain and personality! It does not require a pilot because it is the pilot

I actually have the model in the middle, currently a bit in pieces, but once the parts arrive it will be almost complete xD.
On the top there are those sword-like darkblue pieces, and I tried finding one, but I couldn't find any, so one of them will be missing.
Honestly I think that if you can't answer like an interior then it have a rack on like the sides are inside but a rack on the Droid thing
I hate those spring loaded misses they go off if I touch them, then if I remove them there is a springy noise!
The 2019 is the best imo. Much better looking with the big circular bits on the top and they finally got the head proportion correct. Definitely the most accurate looking.

I still like the 2014 most, but the 2019 looks very accurate. I've been working on customizing my 2014 to be more accurate. I'm using the curved dark blue tiles on the top, like on the 2019. Also, making a 'droid brain' in the cockpit instead of the inaccurate droid pilot that Lego has put in all 3 sets.
I think the turret design on the 2014 one is best, the way the ball and cup pivot thing doesn't stick out to far.
I think a good droid gunship would be one where it’s like the 2019 version but it opens up and carries a bunch of droids like the 2007 MTT

Honestly I think the 2019 version could easily be considered better if you just wait to get it for a discount. The biggest problem it has now is its price, which can easily be fixed by waiting a year to pick it up.

I had the 2014 version Ended up breaking it when I was younger so I’m thinking of buying it myself even if it’s used. Back in those days, I thought the set was massive, since I was 8 years old at the time

I would want a 501st Battle Pack, Geonosian Arena set, Phase 1 Clone Battle Pack, Imperial Battle Pack, and a LAAT (Republic Gunship).
I think the 2014 set isn’t too bad,I mean i like how the 2019 set had a consistent colour when the 2014 one has a mixture of light blue and dark blue which I think is a bit off throwing

The Droid bomb ship and the atpt I like some of the older battle Pax in the sense that you're meant to have both like you used to have the old clone battle pack to go with the Droid battle pack and when you looked on the back of the box it showed a battle between them with these two sets the console shows the other ship and they're both on Kashif and generally have at least the newer 2 have walkies Clones droids in my opinion they should be put together as a pair to be compared

In the Netherlands the new droid gunship is 65 euro's. That is way to much compared to the 2014 version wich is bigger and cheaper.
