These are just a handful of the most incredible watches ever made. What’s your favourite?
JL Reverso Hybris Mechanica cal. 185
A vert Happy New Year to you and all your colleagues👍
I’ll have the first one, if you don’t mind!😜😎👍🏼
That Lange is pure 🔥🔥🔥
In this video it's the Triple Split by a country mile..... Its a work of the highest craftsmanship for the sake of craftsmanship itself ie art
I love it when an expert in their field (talking the physical sciences here) pushes the boundaries so much that they discover a problem that has never occurred before.
I agree, I think that's where we see real bootstrap innovation. As proven by their fix.
@@riothero313 lol riot hero bootstrap. 🤣 kill anyone lately?
@@saulgermaine3104 Maybe.......
@@riothero313 before or after you check your watch ⌚️ ?
For some reason this reminds me of the steam age, and how steam turbine driven screws were adopted to power ships. That's how cavitation was discovered. A physical phenomenon that arose as a real problem as new technology enabled such power and speeds that were inconceivable before. Study of cavitation also saw a very early use of photography as a scientific instrument. Just thought it'd be an interesting fact somebody might enjoy reading.
As usual, the Breguet blew my mind.
The Ulysse Nardin was so insane, what pieces of art.
And that color of the UN: to die for!
This is just why I watch this channel. Please don’t ever retire. We can’t lose you.
Just pronouncing these watch names correctly makes me feel like a pompous snob.
The ulysse nardin is technically very intriguing, but aesthetically reminds me of a Christmas tree. Or a squid.
Agreed 🤣 but the technique is astonishing by any means
Surprisingly, the cheaper Freak X looks more aesthetically pleasing to me.
@@vincent67239 but it is way more conventional and less intriguing. The OG freak is the best
Looks just like an Azimuth..
When I saw the very first vid you provided about the Piaget AltiPlano , I was dumbstruck with awe, how so precise and delicate human hands can work. Seeing it again, still makes me plunk down to watch it again in amazement. But… that said, that last Gem is one “beyond time and space” time keeper. What an attribute again to man’s ingenuity and attention to design. All stunners and made of Unobtainium,….but we can dream.
The Ulysse Nardin is just an outer space watch. Completely nuts, how did they even came up with that
When I first saw it back when it came out I thought the exact same thing. Then I watched more videos and thought the same thing lol. Finally it clicked and I was amazed what this company was doing.
the Lange gets me every time. The Piaget and the Ulysse Nardin are insane... but , my god, the Lange is just unbelievable
What a collection shared today, and it's only Jan 2nd! These must be some of the most incredible works of functional mechanical art that I can remember seeing in a space of just 12 minutes. If I could add one more that I guess is impossible to get it would be the JLC Reverso Hybris, only 10 made and only £1,000,000 each, slightly more than I could fit in my sofa let alone find it behind it. I'm about as likely to find tennis ball size diamonds growing in my toilet cistern than getting one. Happy new year Talking Hands.
Agreed
I would love to see more time lapse shots of how the watches move over an hour or few. Like the one you did with the UN, I think it would have been awesome to see one of the Breguet to see those hands moving!
I was already incredibly impressed just with the first watch, then they just kept being more and more amazing in their advancements.
I feel like I’ve watched this episode before.
Ninong! But yeah i think its a reup.
Oi! Ninong ry
of course you have. it's a stitching of presentations done by the channel on 2021
That 2mm thin watch is beautiful although not practical. Absolute dream piece.
Reverso Hybris Mechanica Caliber 185, which you guys covered last year.... is about the most insane, yet elegant, work of art/engineering I've ever dreamed of.
I've been subbed for a few years and this video is a nice return to form. I miss the comparisons (the three watches for different prices) and such. This is one of the best.
i'd really like to see you talk and review iconic gshock models like the 6600 / 6900 / 9400 / mudmasters etc :D would be really fun
Pure engineering and art at the same time! Thanks for another beautiful video.
I love this video, thanks so much for making it!
The Breget....Surely 2 x a day for the orbit. Or am I on a different planet?
About 15 years ago I read an article about a watch that was built in conjunction with Maserati cars. The moment was based on a V-piston engine. Apparently the pistons movement was actuated by weights and some type of oil under pressure that pushed the pistons back.
Never heard anything about it since.
They are all incredible , I would want the Lange triple split though , it has that practical feature that no one else has .
A smartphone app can do the same, or better.
None of these watches has anything to do with practicality. They are feats of engineering that for the rich to collect, just like kings used to collect oddities in the past.
Man that Piaget looks unreal, like it is printed on. Beautiful craftsmanship
This channel is by far and away the best channel for creating and sustaining watch enthusiasts. When new content runs slim I go looking for any form of intelligent or even comprehensive information and am left lacking every time. The last thing I need is to listen to another person doddle on about Rolex and who is wearing what reference number. I fell in love with mechanical time keeping because of the intricacies and innovations, not status or reactions. Thank you for providing a worthwhile experience and for being the vehicle used to open my eyes to something else worth my wonder.
Just finished one off the earlier video and immediately got a new one, perfect
Piaget trumps everyone else under that ridiculously slim hood! Definitely not Insane for me.. But, that's watchmaking definitely at it's finest!
Thank you, learnt much. Please keep going and may 22 be amazing for you.
Wonderful job, great material
Absolutely stunning
ALS Triple Split is still the craziest I've seen.
Recently I discovered the Frederique Constant Slimline Monolithic Manufacture. That one blew my mind.
I've seen all craziest watches and falling in love with mechanical watches right on the channel. Thank you for activating that part of me.
Happy new year. So enjoyable. Thank you.
The photography and narration on these videos are as beautifully constructed as the haute-horology watches featured!
Simply amazing engineering artistry! Thank you!
What a fabulous collection! If I would have to chose one, it would be the Altiplano, followed by the Ulysse Nardin.
L9
Great video! Ive held the world thinnest solar watch made by citizen and i was in awe… under 3mm its insane !
Its more insane for an mechanical to be so thin
Which are the best Chinese or cheap tourbillon watches .... please make a video on that as well.....Love your Channel and everything about it, music, your voice, Knowledge about watches, encouraging me to do best in my life to own one of the these watches one day, so I can appreciate my time and achievements in my Life .... Good Luck 👍 ❤
Unbelievably smooth narration l love this watch chanal.
Glad to see a «multi watch» video (Despite it being old footage)
Brilliant work❤️🤩
the background theme produces in me a kind of nostalgic feeling. i don´t know how to describe it but I love it.
Amazing collection of watches.. Just amazing!
3rd video and now subscribed. Very informative and enlightening channel
Excellent video today! So cool to see these engineering marvels!
Piaget altiplano ultimate is my favorite watch.
The 1st one is probably the Most Amazing watch I have Ever Seen. It is just AMAZING
Its amazing what you can do, with a lot of time in your hands!!!
Amazing pieces!!!
Amazing does not even begin to describe these watches. Such a cool video!
please do a review on the girard perregaux “aston martin” edition laureato chrono watch. many thanks
Awestruck at what man can do ! I would go with the A. Lange and Sohne ...not too crazy , still somewhat traditional and , well...it's an A. Lange & Sohne. Thank you for such a video !
If not the best, it's definitely one of the best video's you're made 🙌🙌
Fascinated to see what watchmaking has evolved into with extreme engineering and design concepts. These are truly collectibles everyone would want to have only to watch them work
Thank u
If one sees and hears this presentation, comprehends what is being presented and dismisses it as “just another watch video” than the magnificence of human engineering, the admiration of time itself is lost on them.
This is why God enjoys His creation the most…our ability to record the passing of time with beauty and sophistication worthy of His praise
Thank you for providing the spark that ignites continued passion for all things horological ! Bravo 👏
That Piaget is amazing
Those hands. That voice. May our 2022 be filled with more and more Watchfinder goodness.
If there's one watch I'd like to see featured on the channel, it's Omega's Ultra light weight Aqua Terra. Between the titanium movement and case, the telescoping crown, and decent size, I think it'd make a great Watch Finder video.
That watch is dope af, but ofc it has to be under the radar because it's a frickin' Omega
@@hathaway.1166
And the price is crazy !
Sneaky comment from the boys at Omega
@@stevehs4287 the price is crazy for an Omega but if a Haute Horology brand produced it would be 10 times more expensive.
@@casperperre2636 Lol I wish I could work for Omega.
Out of the 5 watches shown, I would go for the ALS Triple Split. The Piaget Antiplano would be great for collection but I would be concerned about wearing it for fear of wrecking it considering how slim it is. Prefer the UN Freak Vision over the original Freak. Yes, the original Freak has historical value but I much prefer the advancement made in its current iteration, the Freak Vision. Would much prefer the no-bling transparent dial of the Breguet 5345 over the blingy Breguet 5349 - they both use the same calibre. The 5345's transparent dial puts the attention on the calibre without any bling to distract.
Your videography is some of the best I've ever seen.. bar none... some of your shots are so zoomed in that when you see a Ruby it looks HUGE...
All stunning, but that Piaget is something else - a work of art.
Interesting video. I was always fascinated by watch's the moment I realized how my grandfather's grandfather clock worked when I was in my youth... I thought it was very interesting watching it. Nice video. Beautiful watch's.
The chill version of Dankpods
A watch channel uploading a video that is 12:34 long, bravo... my respect to you guys !
You need to review a Frederique Constant monolithic manufacture soon.
The flexible mechanism in it is a milestone for the industry.
If falling in love with the Breguet Double Tourbillon timepiece is a crime, then I am guilty. ✨
Wow...it's insane on an opulent level.
amazing watches all around!
Watchmaking and motorsports are soo satisfying to watch
Is the narration done at the same time as the hand movement in the shots where the watch is held by you it seems.
Happy new year Mr Talking Hands!
Gotta love that triple split. So subdue and elegant hiding a ridiculous unrivaled complication. Would love to see the Jaeger Lecoutre master grande tradition gyrotourbillon westminster.
Amazing time pieces. I am speechless...
I love Omega watches, i am thinking on buying Omega De Ville Prestige Orbis Edition, if it is possible i would like to see you present such a piece of watch. I know this is not a timepiece that very one has heard of or would buy, but the Orbis edition has a good cause to it. This timepiece has almost never popped up in any other RUclips videos, so if it could be show, i would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks and stay safe!
superb art and technique . greetings from greece to your great channel
Great video!
that Ulysse Nardin watch is insaneee
I love watches that are different. Great review
I do not ordinarily like flashy anything. But that Breguet Double Tourbillion is gorgeous!!!!
Many brands just keep selling the same old song in the new box without a thought or work done. But sometimes... we get these inovations. Really nice pieces from people who loves watch. Not just money made.
I will watch out for them! Yes enjoyed watching vid about watches.
Can you do a video on gallium pump watch?
This is amazing..
Happy New year and we need and wish videos in Real Best 4K 60fps HDR resolution clarity quality soon please and Sound in full HD 3D Stereo Surrounded
How to get order❓
I had to stop the video at the Breguet Double Tourbillon. How INSANE would one have to be to conceive such marvel!?!
@10:18 I don't think a flyback chronograph necessarily has start, stop and reset combined into one button - that's a monopusher. A flyback is distinguished in that it can reset without stopping. A monopusher, by virtue of having only a single pusher, can't perform this function.
Otherwise an excellent production, as ever!
One of the best videos ever.
love this channel
I would love to see a behind-the-scenes episode that explores your excellent camerawork.
The perfect everyday rugged tool watch I've been looking for!
that Breguet Double Tourbillon...
Wow.
That anti static thing just blew my mind
The craziest watch I've seen....I own. My Great Great Grandfather's 1896 Hampden Watch Co. gold Canadian Railroad pocket watch. Crazy because, with a seasonal adjustment, it still keeps time at +/- 2sec. Well within Swiss standards and better than a zillion others that are magnitudes of order more complex and costly.
Looks great on a chain on my vest with my kilts!✨👍🍁
Just amazing
Happy new year to everybody at Watchfinder and all viewers.
What was up with the 11 'o' clock marker on the Piaget? Looked like it had a scratch through it.
Would love to see a Trilobe watch (or several watches) featured one day.
These are all admirable pieces of ingenuity and beauty!
But in terms of innovation and apparent simplicity, my preference is the Ulysse Nardin at 7:18
--
Ce sont toutes des pièces admirables d'ingéniosité et de beauté !
Mais en termes d'innovation et de simplicité apparente, ma préférence va à la Ulysse Nardin à 7:18
Better to use your phone. But it's technically, artistically beautiful. Stunning!
Make a review on casio G-SHOCK
Can someone tell me the name of the background music. Love it ☺️
