    I love you two! I bought the cookbook over the weekend and have already made on p.98 Big Bean Soup. Delish! This morning I made Our Hummus and Carmelized Onions to make veg sandwiches for a picnic lunch tomorrow. My husband doesn't know he's eating the Esselstyn way; but he is happy I'm spending more time in the kitchen

    I just made the lime mousse parfait in place of cake or pie for my birthday. I substituted dates that I soaked in place of the maple syrup. Oh my goodness that was shockingly tasty and satisfying. It's every bit the equal of anybody's ice cream . The results definitely inspired me to look at purchasing the cookbook. Unbelievable

    Just made this with lemon! Lovely. Found it a bit heavy but added some almond milk and found it better for a dessert, The thicker one would be good for a little cream on the side of some fruit for a kind of full fat heavy type cream and the thinner *Ann’s version perhaps for more a dessert - just realised ignore my comment if you are here for frosting ! Haven’t tried it for that yet. Thanks ladies you make me laugh so much!xx

    Oh my gosh, I made this last night to enjoy while watching the Oscars. I even put it in a pretty martini glass. It was simply scrumptious! Creamy and decadent. My husband devoured it had no idea it contained tofu until I told him. We have mounds of snow outside and I felt like it transported me to a tropical island. I can’t wait to try other variations, like lemon, chocolate and maybe mango. Just goes to show healthy can be delicious too! Thanks, Jane and Ann!

  • @ivorykeys1566
    @ivorykeys1566 6 лет назад +1

    No offense, but i was using my lemon squeezer wrong until i watched the pros... You truly are supposed to place the lime/lemon half upside down in the bottom of squeezer. The squeezer top comes down on the outside(back)of the peel & you will get much more juice. I know it's tempting to place the round side down in the round form, but that is incorrect ladies. 😉

    We have purchased all of your cookbooks. We found the recipe for the lemon cup cakes with lime dressing and thought this would be great. After we got the cup cakes in the oven we made the icing and it tasted pretty good. Then the gooey hockey pucks came out of the oven. We couldn't even get them out of the papers as they were stuck tight. How about doing a video that might help us with what we may have done wrong with the cup cakes. We're late in life (I'm 73 and my wife is 77 and we just found out she has lung cancer, hopefully early stage) and have eaten the American diet all our lives. A lot of the recipes are OK but a lot just taste like cardboard. You both are very entertaining and a joy to watch but I just may not be able to eat this way. I do like spicy but I don't want everything I eat to have to be smothered in Sriracha sauce to be able to eat it and enjoy it. So, if one or more of your cookbooks has something that actually tastes good please let us know. We have most if not all of your books but it's just to expensive to keep trying recipes and then throwing them in the trash because they don't have any taste to them. Thank you for all you're trying to do.

      if u try a "Potato Reset" or "Marys Mini" for a week or 2, you will love every recipe in those books. Eating nothing but potatoes for a fortnight speeds up your neuro-adaptation, making normal fruit & veges taste WAY BETTER, cos it resets your tastebuds to zero and clears out all the salt oil sugar theyve been used to.
