That manifold has many design flaws. Fly-cutting on a mill on the flanges to make them flat needs to be done. Also, that slide throttle system is going to be problematic. As the engine heats up, I can see the throttle binding with temps. That needs to be ditched and some actual ITBs from Keihin or other reputable company would be the way to do it.

Here's a recent video describing it, and you can find lots more info on his channel. ruclips.net/video/V6AhkYTLVj0/видео.html I suspect the difference is Logan's builds machined the second piece of aluminum flat after it was welded.

I'd recommend drilling out those threads for a steel insert like a time-sert. That will allow you to add torque safely.

Please get that intake runner flange decked , it's not straight and is only going to ruin your nice slide throttles being bent when bolted up .
