It was so cool meeting Eric at DGRR. That car is nuts in person - the camera doesn't do it justice. There's so much rotating mass the whole front end flexes while it's idling. Johnny and Melinda are both great folks, and everyone at DGRR are down to earth people - and rotary fanatics all. I said it to them and I'll say it again: it takes a special kind of patient and humble person to love these cars. They're absolutely the kind of folks you want to meet and become friends with. I can't wait to see them all again next year.
Hard to believe it's been a year since you were last at the dragon, bet your pleased the radx7 got on the dyno and it's starting to show some of its potential. The video was great, enjoyed the outside road shots.😊
having the first drive of a quad rotor on a road with speed bumps is criminal dude 😂 even so it was nothing but smiles all video.. cant wait to see this thing tuned and doing some pulls ❤
Can’t believe DGRR is already done?! 😲 Where is the time going?! Great to see the turnout is still strong despite the awful weather. 👍🏻 4 rotor burning oil like a champ! 👏🏻😉 Congrats on a great swap! 👍🏻
I asked Eric about the exhaust smoke at the dam. Some combination of build prep lube and the incomplete tune, and sorting out mild flood, etc. getting it running. He said at that point on Friday they had not much more than 40 minutes total drive time on the car.

Sounds like it could benefit from that RX-8 torsional rigidity haha
It was super cool to talk to you and hear the 4 rotor. The event was great and enjoyed ripping the Dragon with the Fd.

I love when projects come together as planned. Youve done some great worm to that car. The fd owners seemed pretty cool.
Love to see this for you, mad respect!
I stopped to say hello to you while we were parked on the dam. Thanks again for the content!
Sounds great Erich! Need to get down to DGRR one of these years. Gotta get me another rotary car though first lol. Keep up the great work!
You overcame the odds and did it!! Congrats!!
Maaaaan, I wish I could have made it to DGRR this year. Hopefully next time! Keep it RAD!!
Check out the Z Precision Haltech holder for the FD, mounts in OEM location
The 4 rotor and the radx 7 sound awesome. Congrats.
Nice work!
Got that 666 roll you know its gonna be a beast
All this this makes me wish my rx8 was running again
How much premix is the 4 rotor running? Pukin out wayyyy too much smoke. Part of brake in?

Her entire car experience is with rotors. Keeper.
Right on from vancouver
Why was that thing just puking smoke the whole time? She looks so concerned the whole time it was annoying.
I sid also think about that. Theory? Bedding in the apex seals... ? From a basic engineering standpoint, they are vulnerable, I reckon.
Yeeeah boy
