      I started the process, having a bit of a challenge getting the socket onto the bad sensor. Any advice ?

    • @wedoitall7676
      @wedoitall7676  Год назад +1

      @@garywade6313 did you get the specific Socket for the sensor, like in the video. That Socket is made for the tight space

    The best way to do it. Is to take your whole intake off all the way down to the oil filter housing. And then you have all the room you need.

      Thanks for the comment. I'm sure there are better ways to get it done...this was the most efficient way for me at the time. Be blessed!!

    Hey what was the reason you took off the oil pressure censor was it because the car was cutting off randomly?

    • @wedoitall7676
      @wedoitall7676  Месяц назад

      Car had a code for it and the gauge was not registering

    I need this done . How much should something like this run? Or should I say how do I know if I'm being taken for a ride

    • @wedoitall7676
      @wedoitall7676  2 года назад +2

      It depends...if you are going to the dealership they will remove the intake, upper and lower. You may be looking at close to $700. A shop may use this method and should be around 2-300 dollars...this is just an estimate based on the time it took. Try repairpal.com that may give you a better price quote

    How much will it cost to replace a oil sensor switch

    • @wedoitall7676
      @wedoitall7676  10 месяцев назад

      It all depends on where you get it done. The sensor is between 40 and 60 and labor could be between 100 and 150. Everyone has different prices

    Did the car start up after the censor was replaced. ?

    • @wedoitall7676
      @wedoitall7676  2 года назад

      Yes. The car will start even if it's bad. It will normally just trigger a check engine light

      Does that fix the oil temperature from running hot

    Hey man about how much time did it take you to complete the job ?

  • @WTJ1978
    @WTJ1978 22 дня назад

    Easier just to take off intake

    • @wedoitall7676
      @wedoitall7676  22 дня назад

      Easier for me to do it the way I did it...and less time. To each his own though.. whatever works
