So, I was an idiot and assumed you had to gift the dwarf all the scrolls to understand him… Ive gifted him all the scrolls and it did nothing. Can’t believe I didn’t realise you have to donate to the museum.

When you speak to the Dwarf in the mines, you can also purchase items from a shop he runs

You have to give one of each type of scrolls to him to unlock the Dwarvish Translation Guide

In the grave dwarvish translation, it actually means "prismatic shards" for the "rainbow forged in land"
And what im trying to say is holding a prismatic shard between the pillars will give you the "galaxy sword"(OP swords)
And you can buy the rest of the galaxy items on the adventures guild.
(Galaxy sword,galaxy dagger and galaxy mullet, i prefer the mullet one but its quite expensive)

I've been farming the second one, have the other 3, and I've gotten #1 twice in a run on later lvs its getting frustrating, but I do have hundreds of ore because of it lol
