  • This is the video which I took on September 16th, 2019.
    My friend and I travelled from Pathein to Yegyi for sightseeing in Myanmar countryside. Although it is the monsoon season, the weather is very good, very sunny and warm.
    We left Pathein at 5:30 AM.
    This is the return train journey from Yegyi to Pathein. The distance between Yegyi and Pathein is 85 km (53 miles) but it took three and a half hours to travel.
    Myanmar Railways is state-owned. The quality of the railway infrastructure is generally poor. and the tracks are in poor condition especially in this part of the country, Ayeyarwady Division.
    The network has steadily increased in size over the last two decades, from nearly 5,500 kilometres (3,400 mi) in 1988 to 10,296.01 kilometres (6,397.64 mi) in 2010. Myanmar Railways is currently undertaking an ambitious expansion program that will add another 3,645 km (2,265 mi) to its network, making it spread in to 13,941 km (8,663 mi) including extensions to Myeik in the south, Kyaingtong in the east, Sittwe in the west. Ref. Wikipedia
    Myanmar is an agricultural country and agriculture sector is the backbone of the economy.
    You will see paddy fields along the journey as if the land is fitted with velvety green carpet.
    I hope that you all enjoy my channel. Please, rest assured that I read all of your comments, therefore please, comment and leave your feedback, as it indeed helps me to understand what you like the most and what I can do better!

      That’s right Candy. Unlike western countries, we only have three seasons. Summer 😎 March to end of June, rainy season (monsoon) July to October and winter from November to February. But because of global warming, weather is very warm and sunny all year round except July and August with heavy rain. We are a agricultural country and hence we have plenty of rice, fruits and vegetables. Than you so much for your interest.

    • @mayancho21
      @mayancho21  3 года назад +1

      4K refers to the approximate horizontal display resolution of the set (in this case, nearly 4000 pixels across). ... The standard resolution of 4K TVs is 3840 x 2160 pixels, four times the pixel count of 1080p HDTV.

I did actually go there, briefly, in 1986, en route home to UK from Papua New Guinea, and I've been wanting to go back ever since. Right now doesn't seem a good time though, with what appears to be another military coup.
