At 24:00 - 24:23 you talk about whether the Shanks should swing with 10 drop shanks. An the answer is YES every time in this specific scenario, cause that 1 extra card puts him to 0 and your opponent doesn’t know if you have a Roger or not and trying to take life and go to 0 to then blocker up means nothing and your risking just straight losing the game. So that 12k swing should’ve been at life, to put the Lucci player in a VERY awkward situation of do I block and loose a 6k blocker/swinger or go to 0 an blocker up and PRAY he doesn’t have a Roger.

Hey guys I know nothing about Shanks, but at 21:39 why not use Silvers -3000 Sabo, -2000 Lucci KO rebeca and Swing face? The shanks is cool but I feel this would be safer but I only started recently.
jk got my turns mixed up there disregard this -> I think it was moreso a forward-thinking play on Limejuice! They had it in hand to negate the Rebecca’s future block!!
Because the lucci had just played the sabo, meaning their entire board cannot be KOed by effects

I've actually thought about this a lot recently, but either way it would cover up the trash. This video was just a liiiiiiiittle more than usual, I didn't realize the sizing was off & something got reset in my system. I'll try to keep an eye on it better from now on

BB is a great deck for sure, but it’s SUPER pilot dependent. Lots of losing to learn how to win hahaha

It’s moreso a rotating meta, plenty of decks appear & disappear from this. I think just last week Lucci made 0 or 1 in top 16, can’t remember exactly
its so annoying that shank's ability doesn't just have the "on opponent attack" marker, just like how BP crocodile doesn't use "once per turn" marker
I know I need the Bandai production team to invest in markers LOL

Also looking forward to play Shanks, but my list will probably look a little different. Not a big fan of the Aces, Marcos and Red Hawks. My favourite tech card right now is "get lost" event. Way better than it looks honestly

Yeah, I think the Red Hawk/Ace/Marco list is definitely to improve the black matchup but I feel it weakens the others too much. I personally think the classic Control Shanks will be more popular in the west with the more even matchup table. Does well against Doffy who is really popular here. Aggro shanks might also be decent because it's good against black but I feel black is kept in check more over here because we play BY Luffy more.
@@indynator In my experience those cards just aren't good enough against black. Your main black rival is blackbeard and he plays liberation which just ignores both Marcos and Aces effect. While against Lucci a 5c 6000 doesn't really cut it in terms of value imo. I mean we see in the vid that they just get killed anyway.
Red Hawk is pretty awkward to use and has counterplay, I prefer killing stuff in my turn because it gives me more options for power reduction.
Any deck that isnt black or doffy gets a thumbs up from me

He was spamming rather small characters when the power reduction hurts most on those

I think he may have been checking to see if that one card Lucci had was a 2k or not. Maybe his play drastically changes if it was counter

I think the Marco is a super cheeky meta call, worked out for him a ton in the matchup! Especially because Marco can use that effect on ANY type of KO, battle or effects

Dropping a 5 cost body that forces the opponent to have 2 removal options plus cost reduction is actually quite genius, the earlier you can apply pressure the better
