I'm pretty sure the Rayleigh blocker isn't red hair pirates, it's Roger Pirates, so it can't be searched off of the Uta searcher. Still interesting that he's not running it given everything else, but it's one less hit.

@atrocioustcg Yeah pretty tough, especially since the top end in Shanks is really stacked as it is. The problem about him is that he's not searchable, that's what makes me consider playing 2

The second Boa was played the Shanks player won; the roger he'd had in hand basically guaranteed that the boa was a wasted 4 don & he'd have to combo out of all the big bodies. Edit; Uta searcher bottom decks too many of your pieces so you dont run it in this version.
The Uta makes sense 100%, but I don't think the Boa was necessarily incorrect. You bank on your opponent having a one-of unsearchable card in hand & he just lost the wrong end of the 50/50 :(
It’s an interesting spot. On one hand, no matter what you’re in a bad place. But your odds might just be higher if you FORCE them to have an unsearchable 1-2 of Roger. If he didn’t have Roger, Doffy mighta had a decent shot to win
@@atrocioustcg Yes I'm of course speaking in the 20/20 vision that is hindsight The decision making behind that in that exact moment is a very different thing. I'll rarely ever doubt a Top4 Japanese player in that regard. They'll stomp me every day of the week 😂
