What would be a real world test that most of us do is use a lead blower to see if the water will blow off or bead and smear on the trunk. Most people want a ceramic coating for the easy of drying so this being a spray that isn’t as durable and it won’t blow off the paint as nicely as a true coating. I use this spray a lot and it’s great for the first two washes after that it starts to break down and the water doesn’t blow off.

Definitely a bad chemical odor to the ceramic spray wax. It will get in your hair and if wind blows the wrong way or its a breeze in your nostrils.
The wax itself works great, really makes car shine and hydrophobic more than any spray wax I have tried. I drove through heavy rain on open highway an when it stopped raining after about 40 miles and I stopped for gas the car was dried off and looked shiny still and didnt have any of that road dirt on it that you would usually expect after driving in rain.
This definitely works, its just that it has an amonia-like chemical smell that stays in your nostrils and hair even after you shower , even if just a small amount of mist happens to blow your way. Definitely wear nitrile gloves when applying.

Allow me to share with you the benefit of my experience with this product. The proper application of this product determines the results. It is imperative this product is not applied in direct sunlight with a surface temperature above 75 degrees. Don’t spray directly on to paint surface. To insure uniform and complete coverage spray on to a micro fiber applicator pad. Less is definitely more and after application hand buff to a high luster. Paint preparation is paramount and when done properly will consume most of your time. Minimum prep is clay baring, machine polish in addition is even better. When I was done all I can say is wow. Wait 24 hrs before washing and re applying. Definitely a great bang for the buck. I used less than 6 oz for two applications. I did everything including glass and plastic. Turtle wax claims a full year of durability. I’m skeptical and hopeful at the same time. The product and all the necessary items cost me less than 30 bucks. Don’t forget to change your microfiber cloths frequently. Take your time and work logically from the top down. I wish you success.

You mentioned that Turtle Wax compares to Adams and Meguires, but the other RUclips channels who have done similar tests have determined TW as the clear winner or if the host wanted to remain neutral, the comments from the majority of the viewers showed support for TW. Yet what's so funny is how many of the hosts actually sound disappointed that TW wins just as you did in your video. And I understand the Bias is typically from those of us who have been long term supporters of Griots or Meguires, like myself since 1993 when the detailing world was much different than it is today. But I also recognize the turn around from TW and that Griots and Meguires have been slow to respond to the change. At first, I wanted to stay with Carnuba for old times' sake, but once I tried CarPro's Si02, I couldn't defend my bias any longer because Ceramic coatings changed the world for the better. Look at your business and try to tell me that Coatings aren't your bread and butter :-). When TW came out as a minimum 6-month product and more likely 12 months with two coats applied 24 hours apart, I had to try it. That was when I recognized that I had found my new topper. I even tried a comparison between TLC2 vs TW on my wife's car hood with TW on the passenger side and TLC2 on the driver side. I asked my wife and the two neighbors with their wives to tell me which side looked the shiniest and which one felt the slickest. All three chose the TW side. They agreed they looked the same but it was the feel of slickness they felt that told them TW had the edge. I am now a SOLID fan of TW.

Does DEW count as water? My daily driver sits outside, and I applied this a few hours before sunset. The car had dew on it, and the next day after the 24 hours I did a light wash and applied a second coat to it. Hasn't rained since but again, the 2nd coat also had dew to contend with.

That's fine as it does still cure if it is pure water, so it should be fine just as long as you gave it the 24hr cure time.

All u guy's throw wheel cleaners and the like to torture test and that's nice but not real world tests. U wanna test a product fairly, use coolant, oil, salt, etc... things that are REALLY gonna be on the road splashing up on ur cars. Then, leave them on for a few days with the sun beating down on them. THEN, wash off with a good soap like megs gold, and see what's what. Testing with things that are REALLY not going to be on a car, to me, seems a waste and not really fair for testing a product like the twcsc. I use the twcsc and love it. After driving in the real world conditions like I've mentioned, it works great and is lasting beautifully so far, and I did apply two coats, 2 days apart.
