I think it's excellent that you're coming back to study as an entrepreneur who built her own cover design business. So all of that work experience is going to count on your studies. My issue with university (which has a lot to do with my previous mentality) is doing a load of study that isn't applicable. I made that mistake and ended up not qualifying in anything. The path you have chosen, and the way you've come at it, is definitely applicable. I like your traditional sketches. You should do more of those. This is such an inspirational video. Best of luck to you on your further education journey.
Yeah I’m excited! I do definitely agree with you that lots of stuff you learn isn’t applicable (that was literally my whole undergrad haha). This program is more technical and run through a college (which are different that Unis here), so we’ll see how it goes (or if I get in)! Definitely going to keep working on my traditional art-it’s a weakness of mine but I find so much joy in it! Thanks for watching!!
This is so amazing and inspiring, Keylin! 😍 FYI: This is such great content. I love seeing you chase your dreams. It's also just really fun to follow someone at the beginning (ish) of their career through the rest of their journey. I don't normally love the switch from writer-content to other creative endeavors (because I tend to curate my youtube really strictly and make it 99.999% writer-content), but you've always had that great entrepreneurial spirit about that I find really beautiful to watch so I'm excited for this part of your journey.
So exciting, good luck! I loooove education, looking for higher education programs was practically a hobby of mine lol. So you would do a graphic design program *plus* a Masters at the SAME time??? How'd you find the Australian program? You must do a video on your spiritual journey to decide / find these programs LOL
Thanks so much! I would just do one! The program in Australia is my top choice, but unfortunately it’s very, very expensive so it might be quite hard to do! This graphic design program is probably my second choice! And I would be able to continue to work full time while studying! I’d love to make on the topic of my school choices-I’ll definitely give that a go!
I’m so glad to see you posting more again! And I wish you luck on getting into the program! That would be so exciting! Edit: your upstairs neighbor (I know who it is hehe) must run super warm like my entire family vs me who is ALWAYS cold.
UPDATE!!!
I got in :)
Congratulations!!!
you go girl!

Thanks girl! Australia is still #1… it’s just becoming more and more unrealistic with the cost!
