Vageta has always been ahead of piccolo except in the android arc when piccolo fused with Kami then he was ahead of Vageta for a bit until he went into the time chamber.

Imagine this feature with mods (This game is likely to have the fastest mod progress we have seen in a DB community due to an already existing large community of Tenkaichi mods)
Even the basic reskin mods would allow for endless story mode creation def' getting it for PC (like a story adaptation for fan mangas)

@@τμεβοοκΦχξΙιCan’t change the voice I’m pretty sure. But you may be able to change colours of outfits. There’s a lot of potential but still have limitations. At least until PC and it’s mods anyway.
@@τμεβοοκΦχξΙι Allowing it or not is not a concerned, on Pc there will be mods. TONS of mods, and certainly IA voices mods to make them saif certains things not present in the game's selection. I bet it will happen.

For as much as people are against the idea and as unlikely as it is to ever happen, implementation of being able to create our own what if scenarios only makes me wish I could import custom. Characters from Xenoverse 2 even more

nah the mods for edit mode/custom battles are the ones that will truly be limitless.
With all the ideas in the comment it would be sick if there could be a community option where people upload there custom stories and we can play them.
i really hope we can give character other move sets. example: krillin becoming god of destruction, would be awesome to give krillin beerus ability's or any of gods or another example where beerus was never a god and was training under master roshi, so beerus would be weaker but he can do kamamaha. little hopium if we get this much but would be cool. so far we only can change stats but not skills they have from what i seen. either way this is cool idea and hope it come with future of other games and expanded on.

I see you came to a lot of the same conclusions as I did. Now of course we may be wrong about this - but I do fully believe that the story mode - except the mocap cutscenes - is infact made inside the custom battle maker. Reminds me of the good old times of RTS which would be made in the map editor that you got to use. And I also agree that there is a high chance that background characters like bulma will be able to be used in the cutscenes. And here's teh exciting part - in one of the cutscenes, we see Gohan kid - charge into Raditz and make contact. So then - we put these two together, and we can make non-playable characters be a part of the battle. Bulma slapping the opponent if a condition is met, deal damage as an effect... this is insane if true
EDIT : On one of the screens with the events there was a label "auto" on it - so it's possible we get to choose if the trigger is automatic or the player can choose not to activate it
Do you think we'll be able to create multiple missions and link them together to create a long story mode and also edit the description of your story, so players can understand what the story is about before loading into it so they aren't just confused why certain characters who died are just somehow back?

It'd be cool to have what if transformations like Super Saiyan Raditz but I doubt these will be in it unless they let us port in fan made models which I also don't think will happen

This might even help some Dragon Ball what if story makers have new visuals for their videos.
Custom Battle feels like the thing that will give this game longevity, literally outsourcing the What if scenarios is a great idea. Dialogue will probably be limited because it’ll probably just be presets and unvoiced. Hopefully the sharing feature is refined because people are going to start making their own saga’s.
4:08 is what I was wanted so bad but had no hope for... defeat by blast types! When I play BT3, I make my own story modes and if I defeat a character I might let them live in my story but they will die if they are finished by a big blast.
This would be perfect, PERFECT, if they allowed custom dialogue for at least just offline mode. I am begging the devs to add a SEARCH bar for the prepared lines so it doesn't take a million years to create your story.
i would love to see someone make a "Baki, but it's Dragon Ball" level. Just have a cutscene play after every special move 😂.

Not even just in game, People depending on how creative they are and how mod-able the game is can make web toons with this kind of freedom. The possibilities look almost endless
I'm gonna make Yamcha and Hercule the main characters.
I hope it really goes as deep as this sounds. I already have a bunch of ideas some of them literally being fanfiction ideas I've had before that I never bothered to getting around to doing anything with. Definitely doing a Goku black and baby Vegeta team up, as are probably a bunch of people but hopefully that just means we get to see alot of unique takes on it. Probably mainly first form baby for me cause it's the only one thats fully recognizable as actually being vegetas body. And then hopefully we can put any character in a fusion dance which might not be useful for much but it would be great for having Goku black and baby fusing. Probably gonna be extremely limited on custom appearances for gogeta or vegito but I don't care I'll do the black and baby fusion with the normal forms. Definitely extremely interested to get my hands on this mode.

Custom scenarios would be like specially amazing if we got like the custom character creator we had in games like Xenoverse or Ultimate Tenkaichi. Imagine having a roster of like 5 custom characters that you can use into custom scenarios that you can share with others. Is basically like creating your own saga.

I was trying to wrap my head around what that feature is. Namco Bandai are just giving up YT fuel. The only thing that would make Saga Creation better, is a Character Editor.
Not Creator, Editor. To give characters a custom transformation with customized hair, hair colors & aura colors. If that happened, I'd already have Saga ideas ready, because Ive brainstormed What-Ifs & drew up What-If Transformations already.
