My Deepest Apologies for not noticing this but the controls for revenge counter & Perception from Classic to Standard seem to be different. I’ll explain here :
Classic controls revenge counter is L1 Double tap
Standard is simply pressing R3
Considering Circle says Perception for standard controls i assume you Hold Guard then Press circle for your character to strike the pose .
I did not play classic so I could be wrong but I doubt it ..
@@DeathDaddy thanks for the feedback!
I’m so excited to get into the mechanics of this game most arena fighters don’t have this type of mechanical depth. Also this is an extremely well put together video
It's nice to have both fast paced depth and a pretty faithful recreation of how a Dragon Ball battle feels.
I just wish more ppl like you would recognize that instead of ppl going “hurrr durrr arena fighters suk” like no fool, Tenkaichi been around for more than a decade 😭🔥
It may look deep on the surface but behind it all it’s actually very simple.
@@woodsy.2977 depth can be found in simplicity
A lot of these mechanics are done from the original games back on ps2 and raging ballast on ps3. It’s just sad people think arena fighters suck when they most likely never saw what tenkaichi started out as
Two days ago I finished Black Myth Wukong since then I returned to my frustrations of waiting for sparking zero
lol I’m playing that now and I still can’t beat the final boss
@@DeathDaddy use ring of fire instead of the gourd to heal in the late stages , the transformation you acquire from the secret boss , use the fan in his second phase and overwhelm him during the fan attack you will win after adapting to that
I'm thinking about getting space Marines 2 to possibly hold me over until sparking zero
This was a really well made video, instant subscribe, can't wait to see more in depth content once the game drops
That Bush intro gave me chills
I felt like I was watching a 2007 AMV
I don’t comment often on ppl videos but I have to say I really appreciate the info you gave here 💯💯
Sparking zero would be my first BT game. Thank you!!!
Thank you for this video man!! Im also hyped for sparking zero and love that all these mechanics exist within it!!
Thanks a lot for this video. Finally.I now know what super perception means. When
The game Releases, First thing i'm gonna try is deflecting a super genki damah.
@@jandijk1484 haha . Spirit bomb is an ultimate . You won’t be able to deflect that one . It would be cool if you could waste 4 skill stocks to deflect a ultimate tho
Thanks for this video. Never played a game like this. New DB fan, really.
Ive been learning the bt4 mod lol its a lot to take in at first but everything feels natural once you get the hang of it and hitting your first combo with trip over and an air combo after that just feels so rewarding
Im a simple man…
I see bulma with glasses in the thumbnail, i click so fast i break my mouse :)
@@PR1ME98 LMAO 🤣
I’ve been waiting for a guide like this. Thanks man!
I've been learning bt4 mod and you've taught me so much. thanks for the good vid
The intro made me remember watching the dbz amv videos with 2000 Rock in the back ground 🤘🏽🤘🏽 subscribed
Good stuff man. Can’t wait to hopefully run it with you.
@@aboudyonduty definitely bro . I’m not turning down any fights . The more we play the better we get !
I obviously don't know for sure as there's been no chance to try it yet but the classic controls look so much nicer to use even for me who hasn't played a single tenkaichi game before. Not a single thing looks better on standard than on classic
Ive been playing the bt4 mod recently the controlls feel great i think im already used to them luckily i was able to play sparking zero at gamescom ngl i tried out standard once and then changed to classic lol it just feels better imo
Best vidoe on this topic for sure. I keep hearing people reference the terms but never know what they mean
That stellar blade ost. Hell yeah
🔥🔥🔥 thank you so much .
Buddy thought I wouldnt notice that stellar blade Xion soundtrack
First time seeing this channel, and I just wanted to say I appreciate the intro music and I will be watching more videos of yours. (Machinehead is a great song.) 0:04

I’m gonna actually tweak

Great Video! I’m been having trouble understanding the mechanics for the game but this helps!
Thank you, daddy♥
I’m subscribing that so informational
@@supremepimppayne thanks so much broski ! 🙌🏻
jump force's controls are like sparking controls as well
This is very true . Standard controls are exactly like jump force except jump force don’t have ascend or descend
Seem like smash bros controls hopefully we can fully customize controller inputs I’d make mine as close to xenoverse 2 as possible
I need Raging blast 2 controls on there, hope more options are available at launch
Edit: just watched the vid passed 1 min, for some reason I thought L1 was defend on RB2 switched with R1
Thanks bro
Imaging if starting October 11 I work my ass off to rise up the ranks and make it to worlds
I Said Jump Force Been Getting Me Through The Days Of Waiting On Sparking Zero
Amazing video, I'm glad some mechanics from jump force are being used in this also if possible can I get the name of the song used in 7:37
I'd like to know myself and it gave the video a chill learning vibe.
I just realized he put it in the description. Its Stellar Blade Xion 2
Which is crazy cuz the Stellar blade ost is amazing. I recommend you listen to Fallen Overpass from the ost as well. One of my favorites on there.
Nice
Awesome video man, would you be able to chapter the video? It’d be really useful for rewatches
Scary, lots to learn. I should go play tenkaiechi?
@@sergeoh735 most definitely. It would make your experience easier .
I think bro likes Sonic Frontiers
Thank you for making this video
Only fighting game I’ve played is dmc and I was pretty good so I’m hoping it will come fast
DMC is not a fighting game. It’s a hack and slash. Fighting games involve you fighting against another player.
@@sleepylo3358 yes ty for the correction
I think I’m going to play classic to start off and see which routes are easier
This is clutch 🔥🔥
Anyone else thinking that opening of goku n vegeta is gunna be the actual opening
Keep doing yo thing fam 💪🏾🔥
Fire 🔥
I would love to know every song used in this video
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hey man, great video! Just wanted to ask how exactly clashes work? Like for beam clashes do you mash triangle or press it when the bar is almost full?
@@thehman2271 I’m very sorry for not mentioning this but the answer to your question lies in my ALL CONTROLS video here : ruclips.net/video/y1FC_fwMDHs/видео.htmlsi=N2Eg3nQRlRDj2Mix
Skip to 3:08 in that video
This song also in game
XD
Hey man just wanna say I appreciate your work man. Also do I have any trunks gameplay? Or kid goten and kid trunks
@@s_purp I have one Trunks video on my channel but have one more coming for Vegeta ,Trunks and Android 17 . I didn’t get a chance to travel to play the new build that has Goten and Kid trunks unfortunately.
@@DeathDaddy no worries abt kid goten and kid trunks. That’s wonderful man thanks a lot!
Good breakdown of the controls, tbf not much looks too far from what i was hoping for. Think we can abuse stuff like rolling hammer>step in (reset) and repeat or you think they gonna stop us using resets?
I think Resets are possible . There were some creators that did it mistakenly and did not notice .
W Video!
I’m excited to play this game but I feel like I’m going to get smoked by people who’ve been playing BT3/BT4 for years. Should someone who’s not good at those games pick this up? I love DB, but I’m just not good at those games😵💫
@@PulseBladeenjoyer don’t play to win . Play for fun broski . That’s what it’s all about in the end . Once you’re comfortable with the game test your skills against someone great and keep growing . It’s A LOT of newcomers joining us with this game
Definitely get it, but instead of playing to win, just play to have fun! Personally, I played BT3 (I'm pretty sure? Might have been another arena style DB game tho) years and years ago, so I forgot how to play it, and I now hate arena fighters with a passion, but I'm still getting this game because it looks *fun*.
Whats the input for basic z counter in sparking zero? Where u dont block, but vanish and hit the opponent away?
Press circle or R1 for standard when some tries to vanish attack you after they send you flying . That’s Z counter .
They made it a basic vanish .
Which controller setup do you like more? Classic or Standard?
@@NintendoWarrior80 classic for me . It’s easier to pick up and go without spending excess time to learn standard .
@@DeathDaddy yeah I want to use classic myself just wish I could change beam clash to mashing. I don’t want to kill my sticks lol
1:39 so how is jump force a inspiration when those are general mechanics in old tenkaichis???
lol I literally said inspirations from Tenkaichi
@@DeathDaddy oh got it I misheard that's my fault
@@GDtornado it’s all good broski !
@@DeathDaddyI think the disconnect is because sparking zero is a direct sequel to the tenkaichi games. I wouldn’t say something from street fighter 6 is inspired by street fighter 5.

Are perception and revenge counter specific to the controller choice you make
@@aseanra yes actually I apologize for not mentioning this .
Classic controls revenge counter is L1 Double tap
Standard is simply pressing R3
Perception is a difficult topic considering guard for standard is R1 . But ! Considering Circle says Perception for standard controls i assume you Hold Guard then Press circle for your character to strike the pose . Thank you for pointing this out . I will explain in a pin comment
@@DeathDaddy so you can have perception and revenge counter on either setting, you just have to do a bit more to activate them depending on your control setting?
@@aseanra perception and revenge counter is a all around mechanic. You’re not able to switch them from my knowledge.
What button they rest on just depends on the Controller setting you choose
Standard seems to be the easier option tho
@@DeathDaddy thanks a lot. I appreciate you taking the time and responding 🙏.
Can u link your bt3 combo/mechanic video?
