The battery reset button suggestion worked like a charm, thanks. btw the issue was that the laptop wouldn't charge after running out of battery, but after holding the reset button, it started charging again.

How's your T590 running? I got mine a month ago. It's totally brand new, but now i see a small, barely visible red line in extreme right corner of it. Other than that, this machine rocks.
I have been virtualizating linux and Windows on it, so far so good display is fine just that red line which comes after hours of usage.

    Hello,
I hope you are doing well. I have a question about my Lenovo ThinkPad T590 laptop. Two weeks ago, before shutting down my PC, it prompted me to install a system update. After installing the update and shutting down the PC, when I tried to restart it, nothing happened. I tried charging it, but the issue persisted. Then, I used the emergency button at the back of the laptop and attempted to start it. Here's a video showing what's happening:
    ruclips.net/user/shorts4U9-6TxB3us?si=J-Q9bEINZ6RLSAES
Has anyone else experienced this problem? Do you have any advice or ideas on what might be happening? Do you think the issue is software-related or hardware-related? I look forward to your feedback.
    Thank you

If it was updating and it "shut down", assuming you didn't click update and then shut down, it was likely in the process of restarting while completing an update and you powered it off with the button, causing the motherboard bios chip to have an incomplete update. Not sure you can revive it.

Thank you very much for your response. Did you watch the attached video? So if I understand correctly, either changing the BIOS or perhaps trying to flash the BIOS could potentially resolve the issue? So it's not the motherboard that's damaged, or possibly the screen?

ERROR Code is: 0001. Reset Error (platform reset not de-asserted)
Remove all power resources (The AC Power adapter, removable battery, and coin-cell battery).
Hold down the start button until the computer turns off.
Turn the computer upside down and find a small hole next to the center screw that holds the case in place.
Use a paper clip and insert it there and press gently until you feel a click - hold for 10-15 seconds and release.
Connect the charger and try to turn on the computer.
!!!!!!the most important thing!!!!!! The charger must be connected during BIOS installation.
Use Lenovo System Update to update all of drivers.

so, the motherboard isn't damaged in this case; the issue likely stems from the BIOS, correct? Thanks, and sorry for the question; I just want to gather more details before seeking support."
"Another question: why did you tell me in the first answer, 'not sure you can revive it'? What do you mean by this phrase?
You talk about the laptop or motherboard or the BIOS
      Thnx
