These update videos are great to see. It serves as a good reminder to the young guys getting into the hobby that it's ok to have car that's a work in progress. It's easy to find high dollar builds on RUclips and insta and get demotivated by lack of progress on what you personally own. Keep up the hard work kid, the car looks great!
Nice build. The RX-7 FB doesn't look dated and that's a great color. I've never heard of a redline beeper, I guess it was easier than a rev limiter with 80s electronics. I'd be cautious of running the fog lights with the covers on. The heat from the halogens has been known to melt them. You can get clear stone shields if you're concerned about rocks. Reach out to Daniel Stern Lighting if you want to give your 7" headlights modern performance while still keeping the old-school halogen look. You need to convert the choke pull to deploy a smoke screen or something cool. You should find someone with a 3D printer to convert the power window/speaker trim piece into a BFB-compatible cupholder.
Not gonna lie, i came for the Rotary content, but i am staying for your reviews! They are really good, and wil lbe watching in the future! Recently saw your 1986 Dodge Shelby Charger review, never knew about this car! It's amazing to see such a car from US at the time of Muscle cars.
That is the best looking Mazda ever made. When they changed the body years later, they ruined it. Just my opinion. I still can't believe you sold this!!
Always liked your FB and was excited to see new episodes of Rotary Life with it. Definitely was a bit bummed when I found out you sold it, but hopefully you'll eventually get something cool to replace it!
I'm confused, I could've sworn he sold his FB (A while ago if I'm not mistaken), and yet here's a new video featuring it! Any idea if he was joking or if it really is gone?
@@miata_man5632 As far as I know he legitimately sold it back in November. He films the reviews far in advance and he would have just filmed this before he sold it.
@@Midnight_Oil_MFG. Yeah, I kind of figured. :( Thank you for the clarification. I still can't believe it's gone, the FB was such a huge part of the channel. I hope it's replaced by something cool
@@miata_man5632 Yeah, I honestly didn't even think he'd consider it, but I know how project cars can be and sometimes you need to move on. He'll definitely get something cool again I'm sure.
This is a really good video but when it went to the center it was missing the radio I was laughing so hard. And I can relate because I'm missing my radio in my miata
Are you running 24/1 on your CAS? I see that you've cut the wires going to the G signal sensor. I had issues with my vr conditioner board. I decided to use the Ne signal because 24+1 wasn't working.
Hello Zach this is Larry in Ohio 419468-1000 have to 1985 rx71 fuel injected one carbureted both in bodies are in mint condition need some mechanical work to get running need your advice on how to sell

This is a chance of a lifetime, I swear if I didn't already have one I'd ask how much.
new intro? is it permanent?
I think it's just because this is the intro he has for this car which is a project he had been doing for a while now
i love this car
Do the 13” wheels hold up with the extra horsepower?
Yup! Never had an issue
I hate those 79 wheels.
