    Hi, I've lost blades on my left hand fan (looking from the back, from front under the [0]). Is it possible to replace the fan without taking all of the motherboard apart? I noticed you said there was some tape holding it on? How is it attached to the heat sink tubes? I'm not very confident about being able to do it.

    MX-4 pumped out for me in about one month ,Gelid CG-Extreme and Kryonaut Extreme are ok. I think Alienwares heatsink might be a bit bent similar to Dell G3s. had 2 exact same m15 ,one ok ,other constant heat issues core 1-2 reaching 100C still.

    • @uFixTek
      @uFixTek  Год назад

      Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both! Regarding your issue, it is very common on having a bad not leveled heat-sink, i highly recommend you to use a more paste type of the thermal paste for e.g the best for the uneven surface use this, amzn.to/4383Lbr
      it is more pasty and harder to fill the gaps, and unlike cg or grisly that are runny.

      remove both rams, remove the battery and disconnect he BIOS battery and wait 1h for the board to discharge it self.
      plug the rams 1st and the bios battery and the rest and power on and wait 10sec for the boot. if no boot remove one of the rams and use one ram 1st then power on if power successful then power off and place the 2nd ram.
      let me know.

      @@uFixTek the ram is soldered to the board on M15 R2

    • @uFixTek
      @uFixTek  Год назад

      ah if you don't have a reballing station, then you won't be able to remove them, because you said "serviced laptops" i assumed you may have the reballing station .
      so in this case, i would recommend you to do the same steps without removing the ram, if no positive results given, then you will see yo find a experienced technician to do a reballing and replace the ram chips.
      also im not sure if you may have touched with heatsink or a metallic object tot he board and cause a short.
      examine the board to see if the heatsink is not touching directly any components.
