Did you finish the whole place? Can you make a before and after walk through video? I love this. I want to do this design for a home we want to build in Puerto Rico
About to start this same exact project on a restroom restoration. I feel confident but I also feel lost. I want to purchase and follow everything you’ve done. It’s absolutely amazing!!!!!!
Always a nice surprise to see this in my feed! Thanks for sharing your process..it looks out of this world. If you have, we would love to see your landscaping projects.
Awesome video, I like the result and the work team is so cute you are a lucky dad! Would you trust the waterproofing process enough to make a bathtub with it?
Great work! In the previous video where you use the microcement for the first time, you used regular polyurethane to seal. The DK400WB is so much more expensive - does it seem like it was worth it, now that time has passed since both projects? Thanks!
I've gone through almost all of your lime, microcement videos. What you're doing today, your son will be proud of tomorrow. I'm loving how you work with different materials and the result is still everything blended smoothly. I'm doing a tadelakt plaster on the bricks walls of our resort bathrooms in India. However, 2 of the bathroom walls are made of flyash blocks, and i've been told by someone that the lime plaster wouldn't go on the flyash blocks, or would crack. Do you have any tips for the same? Should I apply a cement plaster with a key first to the flyash block walls and then try tadelakt(lime)? I did think of microcement for the walls as well, but then the color I'm trying to achieve(white) in tadelakt will be different from what I get by the microconcrete/microcement.
Can I get your opinion on my bathroom? It's a bomb bathroom. I'm 30 and have little experience with Reno. But I'm wondering if this is the best way to re do my master shower.
Question, in the bathroom you used Tadelakt, could you have used the Lime Plaster and Lime Wash and then seal it like you did in your kitchen? At the end they both look the same, so I’m curious if they can be used interchangeably if it’s properly sealed.
Thank you very much for all your videos! Very informative. Could we skip the coat of lime wash over the lime plaster? It is the first time I hear to use both on the same wall. What is the rational? How wide is the magic trowel?12"?
Awesome job, and the video was great! Is there a reason you wanted to limewash on top of the plaster? We’re about to start a project with the same plaster product, but we’re planning on limewashing on top.
The lime wash allows you to create the variations in contrast and color via the unique brushstrokes, you're essentially building layers giving that unique look. In this case he put the plaster up in one smooth layer, nice and even, so the color serves as a wonderful base but the lime wash adds that extra dimension and texture
Really informative video's!! For renovating my house in France, I would like to make my kitchen, bathrooms and walls all out of straw and loam from my own soil. Do you have any advice or ideas which easy technique I should use to finish it in a waterproof way? Thanks!
Thanks for making this! I’m curious about the waterproofing of your shower floor. I’m about to do this with my walk in shower but so far I only have the wood subfloor, but plan to create a cement shower pan with a waterproof liner. Is the sealer the only thing you need to make sure the shower doesn’t leak? What about where the floor and shower wall meets? How did you waterproof those corners? Did you spread the micro cement and sealer a bit higher up onto the wall to seal the corner? Sorry for so many questions!
For me, my subfloor was cement, so it was a little different, but I would tape and float your joints, and go over them with a waterproofing membrane just to be safe.
nice walls and video overall. I have a question - why did you pigment your lime plaster, if you just limewashed it over? how would it look if you limewashed white plaster?!
Amazing! Super helpful, any reason to change from Bauwerk’s limewash to making your own? Is it just to get the exact same color of the other materials in the bathroom?
I think I need to watch more vids. I want to microcement my bathroom walls and am now seriously confused as this tallks of lime on the wall and cement on the floor. I don't know the difference. Arghhhh!! 😂😂
Im wondering why you didnt use the same technique everywhere in you bathroom instead of using 3 technique ? And how is whasing the floor after ? like everyday maintenance
I think no matter what the substrate is that you’re going over I would be looking seriously at anti-fracture membrane‘s to put down first with her I was going over plywood or whether I was going over concrete I would also consider did you screw all the plywood off first because if it’s moving it’ll continue to move so you need to make sure that you do the the basic steps first prep is the biggest part of any job you’ll ever do all the shit is That isn’t seen is world Wirkus the finish is the easy part
It’s not really recommended to limepaint in a bathroom since it’s so moist. So, lime plaster is more recommended for wet rooms like bathroom, because of condensation. With that said though, I think you could lime paint your bathroom (without plastering) and have no problems as long as there wasn’t a great deal of water or condensation collecting on it. Hope that makes sense
2:00 into the video- Sorry but anyone that cements directly over joints in a plywood FLOOR obviously has minimal practical understanding of basic building construction/techniques/application of materials. I get this is DIY, but that is ridiculous lol
2:54 I'm thinking this is not looking good, these taped drywall joints are not being skimmed or filled sufficiently. That 'joint compound' looks really 'wet' (?)...3:42 that vertical joint is very obvious, doesn't appear to have been properly skimmed and feathered out. 9:25 suspicions confirmed- ugly joint in the drywall showing through the finished product. Yikes.
I wonder why there aren't more videos on this channel, this guy is brilliant.
You explain it really well. A non DIY er like me can understand it. Thank you!
I’ve been waiting for your new video! Thank you so much for sharing all the tips and details. Looking forward to the next video :)
Did you finish the whole place? Can you make a before and after walk through video? I love this. I want to do this design for a home we want to build in Puerto Rico
great video! Can I ask why you chose tadelakt on the shower? Could you have done the whole bathroom with microcement? Thank you!
About to start this same exact project on a restroom restoration. I feel confident but I also feel lost. I want to purchase and follow everything you’ve done. It’s absolutely amazing!!!!!!
Love the vibe including the towel ladder. WINDOW!! change it lol
Faux finish it lol
Have you used lime wash over micro cement? I am not in love of the color I used for the micro cement and wondered what options I have? Suggestions pls
Always a nice surprise to see this in my feed! Thanks for sharing your process..it looks out of this world. If you have, we would love to see your landscaping projects.
Thanks Pete!
Awesome video, I like the result and the work team is so cute you are a lucky dad! Would you trust the waterproofing process enough to make a bathtub with it?
The sweet baby ! I was so focused but lit up I saw him ❤️
Is it possible in the description you can put the website in the products you use? I love what you did it’s beautiful
Thanks for amazing video! I have a question. What about the ceiling in the kitchen? What's there? Bamboo?
Super helpful man thanks for this! Are you for hire lol?? for real tho ive got a bungalo in sarasota fl i need a couple bathrooms done

Ma'am why microcement, microconcrete is so expensive in india? I wanna do it but very expensive. Only luxury homes can afford, any alternative?
Thank you - this is so helpful. Did you find the surecrete sealer held up well?
amazing video (L), do you think I can cover my bathroom floor and walls with the same plaster ?
Can I get your opinion on my bathroom? It's a bomb bathroom. I'm 30 and have little experience with Reno. But I'm wondering if this is the best way to re do my master shower.

How wide is the magic trowel?12"?
The purpose for lime plaster. Is it's breathable. So primer should be breathable. Or no point using lime ✌️
Awesome job, and the video was great!

For example the tadelakt alternative way, but can I do that directly on the surface of my straw and loam layer?
Thanks, this is amazing! I just stumbled across your channel and loving it. Can I ask what font you use for your graphics? I'm obsessed with the 'M' 😅

It might help to check out the video I did on How to Tadelakt. Good luck on the project !
Thank you!
Hey dude! Do you think you could do this same micro cement process on existing countertops? Where did you go? Keep making videos! Lol
nice walls and video overall. I have a question - why did you pigment your lime plaster, if you just limewashed it over? how would it look if you limewashed white plaster?!
On the plywood, glue a 10x10mm FACADE MESH between two coats of floor paint to prevent this type of cracking.
I’m from Florida, of course I’ve never seen a buffalo dropping 😂😂😂
Gd job bro,,if you write each meterias ratio it was better ,these are meterial used natural??
Amazing! Super helpful, any reason to change from Bauwerk’s limewash to making your own? Is it just to get the exact same color of the other materials in the bathroom?
Exactly! There's more control, and I've also found that there's more predictability in the color outcome.
What’s the difference between microcement and lime plaster?
Did you remove the tape after concrete is dry? Any problems with this process? Or just cutting it?
Thanks
Love your videos. I see that you use almond C in the other videos, and in this one, you mixed two pigments. Which one do you prefer?
So the two colors I'm mixing are actually creating the Almond C color. The colors are Umber and Flax.

What's the primer??? I tried limewash on plastered walls and it's clumping. What do I do?
What type of plaster?
What alternatives can be used as a primer?
What kind of prep, if any needed for the cement floor (it's a new floor) needed before applying microcement?
Please Make A Video Where To Buy The Materials
Are you gonna be putting any new vids out. I realised it's been a while now.
Thank you!
I am trying to order the materials for my bathroom now, for the interior finish was this in Sand, Marble, Stone?
Sand :)
What color to use in your wall ? Please spill name of color and color code ?

@@MtWashingtonWeekendProject very helpful, thank you! Love your videos!
You look like my Elden Ring character

He starts his videos with that disclaimer. This is a useless and none constructive comment. No need to

And we learned nothing from popcorn ceilings..
How to make the walls corners look curvy like that?
