Good video man- thank you. The problem I have is that only about 5% of the songs I react to are able to be monetized- nearly everything gets listed as "Ineligible" for monetization. Makes it hard when you spend an hour or so making and editing a video, a thumbnail, waiting for it to load, and it comes back as being allowed to use, but not eligible for monetization. Starts to feel like a waste of time on some levels. I mean, I also do it because it's fun and I discover new music, but still. I don't understand the reasoning for it- I am exposing the artist to more people, and as a musician, I am offering insight and information to increase people's enjoyment of the song (I hope). The artist is getting thousand of views they might otherwise not get- a sharing arrangement seems appropriate- after all, a lot of the video is my original content.
I'm not monetized, yet. Though the MVs that I react to have Copyright Claims, they say "Copyright-protected content found. The owner allows the content to be used on RUclips." Should I still dispute those? Also, should I dispute Copyright Claims on older videos that have already been published?
Hi Jacob, I know this is an older video but I just found it. I’ve been seriously considering starting a reaction channel but I’m curious how much you can actually make doing this to know if it’s worth it. Do you have a video about that? Thank you for your time, love your channel ❤
Hello l want to start reactionary videos on heath topics from tiktok.I an just worried stiff about claims.Permission either is not easy to get They do not even respond. Pls advise in way forward. Thanks
Hey Jacob, thanks SO much for this content. Not sure if you’ll see this comment 8 months later… I’ve been thinking of launching a channel in which I react to/review songs. Ideally it would work with me listening to them in chunks, and interjecting with my input. My biggest fear is definitely copyright claims (even after disputing). I’ve seen other big channels reviewing music that are safe by just talking without playing it, and I’ve seen others who actually play it - but it’s hard to know if they make any money. I’d ideally prefer to do it with music since it’s a better experience, but I don’t wanna go through all that work just for it to not be monetized. Any advice? Thanks again. 🙏🏼
Hey man! Great tips. We are in a similar boat to you. We make our own music and make a lot of reaction videos. We have been hesitant to monetize our channel because we are worried that might put us on RUclips’s radar, and we might end up with copyright strikes. As you know, we can only have 3 before our channel is taken down permanently. Do you think we are more likely to receive strikes if we monetize? Appreciate your time!
Hey, impressive channel btw, I just found it yesterday. Listen I have a question regarding posting the gif in community section, please help me out with this
Hello! I have a youtube channel (not with this account) that is a reaction channel. I tried to monetize my channel but it wasn't accepted, it says "Our reviewers found that your channel contains the following: Reused Content." even though I disputed all my claims and have no strikes. What should I do to monetize? At this point it would made me think it's really not possible to monetize a reaction channel... Should I try to reapply later? 🤔Thanks for all the help and tips!
Any idea how this works in the sports realm? Like if I wanted to react to a Pat McAfee video and their show, how do those kind of things work? Do you know? Thanks man.
A a new small channel this was such a usefull video. Re: Sponsers: How many subscribers do I need ideally before I reach out to sponsers? Also should I creat a Patreon or Buy me a coffe. Most channels like mine have a patreon?! With how mucbh you earn now does it pay your bills?
"I think we can all succeed together!" 100% agree with this sentiment!
Yeah, I love his mindset honestly
Totally!!!
I agree and subscribed because you said we can all grow and make money together to succeed in life. Thank you
🙏🏼
Congrats on 100k!! I love your videos ❤️
thank you so much1!
The way you talk is so calming and relaxing
Thank you!!!

I would recommend yes, because I did not in the past, and when I became monetized, I had to go back and dispute so many videos
Great knowledge!! More blessings to you!
Thank you!!

Hey! There is definitely money to be made - but in my experience, happiness from the money is short lived - only do it if you actually truly enjoy it
@@JacobRestituto Thank you!! I think it would be fun but my main goal would be to use the money to pay down some debt to get ahead for my future.
I am super illiterate when it comes to technology. How do I take a video from youtube and download it to my computer to make a reaction video?
google RUclips to mp4
Great video brother thank you for sharing!
You bet
Thanks 🙏

I don't see why you would get claimed on tiktok videos (unless there is music involved)
Thank you!
😉

Hmm it’s tough- Patreon May be an option & maybe finding artists that let you post the music? Some allow and some don’t

Not sure if monetization affects that. I think it’s all content based, but as long as You don’t appeal a rejected dispute you should be fine
@@JacobRestituto Awesome. Thanks for the reply!
God bless you

So can I earn with reaction videos?
yes definitely! but not with all

Oh wow that’s really interesting, I’ve never heard that before? Maybe contact RUclips support?
Sponsorships are always another option for monetization
@@JacobRestituto I will try support. Thank you so much for replying! 😁
@@tundravarg3525what happened, I wanna try also, did you monetize it.

Clowns who fake reactions to Indian movie videos are the worst
Thank you for this video, but I see your channel has very few views. How much is it now? I saw on social blade that it was $53 - $843, is this true?
