I'm a western woman and I can say that I can fully understand why you married her! :-) The reasons you bring forth are very understandable and not too shallow. I feel that dating in western cultures has become so grotesque with traditional values and real love, kindness and genuine interest in the other person have become rare!
American Women are Psychologically programmed to be Anti-Family and not reproduce. As a result, many American women are not acceptable to traditional family oriented men.
I met my wife in Canada 9 years ago and I feel like I won the lottery. When I started looking for a relationship at that time I guesstimated I would have to go on 100 first dates to find the right one. I got “lucky” although I feel like it was destiny.
Wow... You are in the VAST Minority of NA White Women today. Carry the message to your gender. They are lost and Losing Everything globally. Women are WONDERFUL... When they are REAL WOMEN. Not what they think they have evolved into today due to Media and Propaganda.
@Sinon Gild and so will you and I one day. On a long enough time line everyones survival rate it zero. So why poke fun at the fate that you will one day face yourself.
Men don want woke & non-loyal & non-faithful & women that have the atty of women don’t need a man & especially women who think it’s the man’s sole job to take care of said wife & really they don’t want American women who have been groomed get what ya can from him leave him get half start over with richer better looking younger or man with exciting title & do it all again when I the woman get tired of said man cause I get bored with men & in time they stop spoiling me like they did in beginning & I have a vag & I can flaunt it get what I want. Men tired of all that
I was married once and she divorced me after 24 years supposedly for being too strict with our son. So far he’s turning out to be a wonderful young man with great values. Didn’t realize at the moment the favor she was doing me but after a few months of being away from her toxic behavior It finally dawned on me. Never been happier and wish I could thank her but don’t want to be near negative and toxic individuals so I’ll never thank her I guess. Hopefully my next companion can appreciate the simple things in life, like companionship, good conversation, experiencing new foods, watching Netflix, sleeping in at times, reading a book on a beach, and traveling together. I’m going to enjoy life while still young and not worry about working. I’m 47 years young, plus young at heart, full of energy and most importantly much much wiser.
Let's just call it what it is. You married a Mexican. I, as a Mexican man, get offended, as do the majority of Mexicans, when ppl refer to us as latinos. We are Mexican.
@@ibiscar06 Lo siento, when I first met my beautiful Mexican she referred to herself as an emotional Latina, so that's what I went with. Mexican people are the best, however some Mexican men mistreat their wives and girlfriends allowing us gringos to come in and treat them right.
@@pacopeso8474 😄😄 no hard feelings taken though. And it happens with any man from anywhere, to be honest. I did live it with my step-dad, he was Mexican too though lol. But yes I get you. My wife is from San Luis, and love that she still has alot of "old school" values. While still being "modern" as a 38 year old.
@Scandinaven lol bros cut because he's stuck with the obese untraditional high standard unloyal beasts in west. While my guy did the smart thing move to Philippines for a simple life and a loving partner
I married a Filipina girl after knowing her for only 2 weeks. We will shortly be celebrating our 38th anniversary. At the time of our marriage, my wife looked very similar to your wife but after 38 years she is not quite as fit as your spouse. And the same goes for me also. However I do not regret for a minute my hasty decision to marry her because she is everything that any reasonable man would want in a life partner. Thanks for your story.
Been married to a Filipina 25 years, brought her to the US. Now we're planning to retire to the PH. The very reasons you spoke of are so true. The main reason I chose the Philippines was faithfulness of your partner. My first wife wasn't, I have never felt more love then from my PH wife and never worried about such things from her. Thanks for letting the world know why are wife's are from there.
Amen brother clearly is important to them not quite sure if I can retire their but it is trending that way just gotta find the football channel but hey you don’t need a loan for carton of eggs so it’s got potential
This is why I married an African women who was born and raised in West Africa. We meet when she was here in the states on a student visa. Now at 14 years of marriage and still an amazing marriage. All the same things you listed go for a lot of African women as well.
I just married a woman from Ghana 3 weeks ago. Her nephew works at General Motors with me and 2 years ago I asked him if he had a cousin or something that was single and childless. After 2 years of communication we tied the knot.
The US started to fall apart once they allowed feminazis to take the vote without the draft. Since then it's only gone downhill. The final nail in the coffin was affirmative action for women in the workforce. Female hypergamy=never settling when you make more than men for less work. Make no mistake, unless females recognize their role in the destruction of society and try to reverse the downfall and take accountability for their bullshit, the West is fucked.
Hopefully, it will be an eye-opener for many western women over here. They have to stop thinking they are the center of attention when it comes to relationships. I got married 12 years ago to a Filipina woman and am a very fulfilled and happy man.
Don't ever apologise mate, telling the truth always offend the weak minded and those that are sensitive. I agree with you 1000% I am a western man (Australian) and I had my share of partners over the years (white women) and I got sick and tired of being treated poorly, cheated on, dis-respected and so on. I found out that many Asian women possess traditional values, were respectful and caring and looked after their men as long as you took care of them also. I ended up marrying one 23 years ago and we are still together with two grown daughters. I met my wife here in Australia back in 1999 and I had never been to the Filipines until 2018, a full 19 years after we first met. We are like any other couple, we disagree on things, sometimes argue when we see things differently and we also love each other regardless of those differences. One thing I learned very early on was to respect her culture, food choices and their love of gathering with their friends etc. I never stopped her from being who she is and she did the same for me. Perfect match. I will tell you that some of the white women I used to be in relationships with I still know today, friends on FB etc but none of them seem very happy to this day. They seem to treat men like crap, and wonder why they are still single all these years. They explain that all men are bad but cannot see they are the cause of their own loneliness. I actually feel bad for them but it makes me glad that I made the decision to marry an Asian woman. I am very happy and content now.
Good it worked out for you, but American/western men don’t all have to look overseas. There are many many Asian women in their own countries who moved and already have citizenship, and still have traditional family values. 11 years ago I married a Chinese woman from Luoyang, who already was an Am. citizen for 7 yrs. Happy and no probs. 🐉🐲🐉👍🏻
I believe many American women have become their own worst enemy, b/c of their attitudes of entitlement & to demanding of their men even when just dating. Or at least that what I gather from All the videos on you tube, & Instagram that I've watched.
Ptetty much exact. The real problem is, Women listen to their stupid Hen circle, who are mostly single, lost or with bad advice they dont believe or follow themselves!!
@@nihongochopsocky808 See, this is the thing that man are missing (THE MAIN THING) - as long as a woman is provided for, meaning, she doesn't work outside of the home (if she doesn't want to or have to) she will have TIME AND ENERGY to pour into her family, and she will make pampering her husband, house and her children her PRIORITY because that's the only job she has lol (which is very different from women who also have to work to help their husband pay the bills, put them through school, pay off certain debts, help finance the children and household etc). It's easy to be a good, 'submissive', traditional woman who's completely devoted to family when your husband retires you from work - and I say that as an import bride, because I am one of those women, so I know what I'm talking about lol (I moved from Eastern Europe to live as a housewife in Germany)
Just the way she looks at him when he’s talking about people arguing with him about not choosing someone local, her hand on his shoulder almost sharing his pain. That’s real empathy for your partner. Beautiful couple. Real Love.
You're living a dream, my friend! Truly happy for and slightly envious of you haha! The way she looks at you, the way she's constantly touching you, massaging you, laughing at your jokes, kind, humble, appreciative - this is the type of woman every man dreams of! All the best to you both!
Man you made your choices and you explained them well without being rude or vulgar. If some people take offense with your presentation and make inappropriate comments as a result then they simply reinforce your decisions as being correct for you (and many other western men BTW).
@@zorbakaput8537 Think I’ll make a RUclips short soon responding to the negative people. I’ll be in my hammock over my pool. While my wife serves me pineapples in a bikini. I’m sure you will see how stressed I am on my face. 😊
When you said that your wife would rather buy toys for other people on Christmas rather than receive a gift, that made her even more attractive. You are blessed for finding someone with a heart like that. I think I will be looking afar for a wife. Thanks!
I married my wife 19 years ago. She's Vietnamese. I guess I was a passport bro before it had a name. I too am from Illinois, Rockford. I relate completely to your story. I thought things were tough dating wise 19 years ago, I can only imagine how hard it is now. We're considering retiring in Vietnam. Good luck you two. Continue to be inspirational to those who are tired
Things are so bad now that there is a huge movement of men going over seas for love and family. The sad part is the western women are only doubling down on feminism and all the things that repulse men causing even more to leave for over seas. I love it since it means the men are learning “you can keep a family but you must go overseas where traditional women still thrive.
The Environment here in the West. Makes it very difficult for any Women to love a man in the west. Although I do understand there are many variables to this problem. The best alternative I am seeing though is leaving. Western Women are addicts to social media. Case Closed.
I live in Vietnam now. I don't think I would retire here...at least not if the country is continuing down this path. But maybe in 30 years when I retire, Things may be better
1000% agree with you on everything...especially the traditional values. Women from the states seem to think everything is just a game. Married in Malaysia and couldn't be happier with my beautiful, sweet, traditional wife. (Who also agrees with her opinions as well 😉)

@@user-nq5hn2gx1v you’re way off base and I’m not sure where your negativity is coming from. I settle down with my wife when I was 34 and we’ve been together since. But all in all your a dodging, and avoiding my question. I couldn’t find what I was looking for in my country and that’s why I wouldn’t stay with anyone. I looked at broad and found what I was looking for. Reason for your negativity on me being happy?
I’m sorry but even in the Philippines traditional values are rare. Among the poor it’s very much a tribal survival mindset. My wife is very religious. That’s where her traditional values come from. Her cousins and other family are not and you see a very different picture
This has to be one of the best videos I have come across. Everything you have said is absolutely true. Traditional values is had to find in the western world these days. You hit it right on the nail. From a friendly New Zealander
I'm comparing the Philippines and New Zealand actually... I know NZ is relatively westernized and shares many of the same problems in dating as the US but I do also love the culture and people, there's good jobs there in my field of VFX and was thinking maybe since there's a large Asian and Maori population that maybe just focusing more on women from those cultures would be enough to find some of the qualities I'm looking for. Plus I'm American so hopefully that would help me stand out. Is this a pipe dream you think or naw? I just worry that the Philippines would be such a massive culture shock and that I'd have a harder time finding a school to put the kids, I'm concerned about the fact that I couldn't own property whereas NZ there's strong property rights, and also NZ seems safer and there's no language barrier at all... Thoughts?
@@hipreferenceRegarding your concerns, I'd say New Zealand is your best bet. This coming from someone who was born and raised in the PH now living in California for over a decade. For me one of the biggest letdown in the PH as a foreigner is not being able to own a property. Culture wise New Zealand seems like halfway in between the US and the PH so should be a better choice for you.
@@ninja.saywhat Thanks for your insight. Seems like at the very least, even though it is a bit more modern and Westernized than a lot of Southeast Asia, the people are still super chill and laid back which I like. Plus how do you not fall in love the Māori culture? It’s also very safe and peaceful. If I want to give my kids the best opportunities and a safe environment it seems like a good middle ground. I’m even happy to leave the do open to them immigrating to the US but America just has so many problems right now, namely with the culture wars and this admin dragging us into a proxy war with Russia that it seems to be an empire on the decline. I don’t want my family in the line of fire, I just gotta go. Seems like New Zealand 🇳🇿 could be one of the last bastions of civilization, safe and protected away from any major conflicts or world affairs, seemingly neutral like Switzerland.
I am in tears. Tears of joy and hope, to be clear. You both are such great people and I am so happy for you! The way you treat each other is... it just blows my mind. I don't think I have ever commented on a RUclips video before but I really feel the need to. I found your channel this morning and have just spent probably 3 hours watching your videos. I was smiling for most of all of them. And this one I finally broke when you told the birthday food story. I have had a few serious and a few short-term relationships in the U.S. and none of them were genuinely satisfying. None. I was with a Turkish girl for 6 years, mostly long-distance except when I was living short term in Istanbul or she flew to Chicago (she got a job at Emirates Airline to be able to come see me more). I loved her so much but things didn't work out and I ended what was the best relationship I ever had. I have been all over the world, and all over the U.S. and find that you are spot on with your assessment. Having been generally stuck in the U.S. since 2019 when my relationship ended, I have become so lonely - for many reasons. I have begun to think about how and when I am going to move to Portugal, or Bali, or the Philippines. All great places, but the weight of your honesty just pushed me much further toward the Philipines because I am at a point where love like this is a priority for me. Anyway... I didn't mean for this comment to be about me, I meant for it to be about how much hope you brought me. The love you have for each other is very inspiring and I thank you so much for sharing your stories and experiences.
Great comment, and thank you for tsking the time to write it. As far as what country to look in, I would look at them based on religion if that's important to you.

I agree with you 100%. I was married to an American girl for 5yrs, what a nightmare that was. She was such a spoiled brat, expected to be treated like a princess. Now I'm engaged to a cute, petite Filipina. Sweetest person I've ever met in my life! Can't wait to marry her!!!!
Oh I'm so sure that she clips your toenails and scrubs your feet every freaking mate too and does everything you ask her to do you know just like your mommy used to
When you fall in love with someone who grew up worrying and struggling for their families next meal compared to someone who never cross their mind you find a different spirit inside them. Its the ones that the sprit doesn't change when you give them the Cinderella story. My Filipina wife still puts her family, our children and me before herself after many years of marriage and life in the USA. I put her needs and my children needs before mine that's what makes a wonderful marriage.
The culture is vastly different, in western countries you see spoiled kids with their own credit cards already adopting consumeristic behaviors from the get go. No wonder why men can’t find traditional wives in such artificial environnement but entitled modern women with attitude and demands.
You are 100 percent accurate. I was running into these same issues 9 years ago and went looking for a wife overseas. I found an incredible woman in Vietnam. I'll never look back .
Agree with everything you two shared. Married my Filipina wife 17 years ago and moved her to the US. We're working on our own 5 year plan to retire in Cebu.
Coming over to the Philippines again in April 23, to get married to my filipino after five years of courting. You sum up everything that is good about filipino women and I would encourage westerners to escape the west and appreciate a good women.
Thank you, Cory, and congratulations John. My Filipina wife and I have been married for 18 years and still going strong. Still U.S. based but visit the family in the Philippines several times per year, and always over the Christmas / New Year holiday. It is such a joy to watch Cory and his wife build the home, be grateful, and for Cory to broadcast to the world that Filipinas are wonderful (because they are!). Best Wishes to All of You !
As a western man I am committed to never co-habitating, marrying or having a long term relationship with another western woman. They are a liability and not worth it now that I have a 3 year old daughter and am 42. This video is really motivating me to follow in your footsteps. Thank you for sharing!
To me it seems like every people has some degree of hate for the opposite sex of their own race. I'm from Korea and Korean men and women now have extreme hate for each other. Everytime they say highly of other races for dating but curse their own. I believe this is nothing but greener grass on the other side.
My Filipina wife and I have recently celebrated our 30th anniversary and I know exactly what you mean when describing the difference between women in North America and in the Philippines (yes, my ex-wife was white). It certainly looks like your marriage to lovely Raquel is as solid as mine has been and you both will be happy together for a long time to come.
Most guys can't handle the stigma and extra effort it takes to become a passport bro, all of you married pal's girls will make them avoid you. Your family will avoid you, because you escaped, they didn't. It's like going out to dinner and everyone else is drinking, you won't be invited back, ask around. Is it worth it? It was for me!
The separation between men and women in the United States has become institutionalized, with divorce courts taking everything the man has, and most things that he will have. American women opt out of their marriage because they get a big cash prize if they do.
its pretty much like they say western women is a gold digger and wont date a mcdonald worker .. but same could be said for women from third world country marrying women overseas .. third world country women life is hard and when you come with money from developed country defintatly they will be attracted to you .. but if you didint had anything and were in third world country they wouldnt even look your way .. and plus asian women is smart there is a video where a asain women and latin women where saying white mens are easy to manupilate ..
The reaction I get from women here is mostly “why not find a woman here, you obviously are not desperate” and I just say because I found a woman that has the values I look for in a relationship and appreciates my values as a good man. Being in my late 20s women here mostly just want a guy who will go rave, party and be toxic (or else you are boring). Oh and to be “woke” to try changing people’s life and ways of thinking.
Those whamin here call you "desperate" to shame you because they KNOW they're rotten, selfish, cruel and materialistic and that fact that you are looking elsewhere REMINDS them of that fact, and they hate you for it.
After many years of trying to fix a broken marriage in the USA, I divorced and retired to Mexico. Where I found a completely different view of relationships. I had never opened my eyes to the difference of Women in the USA and foreign Women. I am happier for the many reasons you speak of here.
My wife is Filipina and I have been watching your videos for a while. I usually would never leave a comment but this time I have to. We sent money for one sack rice and vegetables for my wife's family and her mother was so happy. She was dancing and laughing and crying all at the same time. She was just so grateful for the blessing. I agree with every point you made. I know I made the right decision to marry a Filipina for all the same reasons!
Yes & good point & example that attitude by her is so enjoyable for the guy when you see that you want to do it again & even more that’s what gratefulness does now American woman how often would you get that reaction instead it’s is that all or can you also do this & that, or well I really wanted this🙄

The excuse for divorcing you will never be based on reality, but rather based on the figment of her imagination. Sounds like she did you a favor. Like you, I think I would have sacrificed my own happiness, for the sake of having my two sons grow under a traditional marriage. However, when our spouses filed for divorce, we had no choice. The decision was unilaterally made. Now, we can rejoice in having taken the high ground, we're free of the toxic relationship. Our son(s) adore us, and we've moved on to better relationship prospects. Not that I'm in a new relationship, but I'm excited about what the future might bring given all I have to offer. Stay strong, my brother.
@@SergioPerez-qf1mb Wow! Thank you for your kind words. So true my son and daughter have stated how much they miss “our family” and we’ve bonded even more. I've been married to a Filipina for about 30 years now. I always laugh a little when I hear people say that she "must be submissive" (or compliant, or cooperative, or whatever). It's a very much a partnership.

I completely agree with everything that was said about American women in this video. After being married for 19 years to an American woman and fighting over the most trivial things year after year, we divorced and I then found that our western culture was simply not a suitable dating culture for me so I chose to look overseas and found a traditional woman who still treats men with respect. Thank God that there are still women in the world with traditional values that place more value on the relationship than just what a man can buy for them.
Glad I’m going overseas, 7 months to go. My friends are in love with Australia and the immigration of Australia said I can find an Australian wife and have children with respect. They said I won’t miss United States disrespect and my kids will never know of the US.
Yes, I married a Brazilian, and they abide by the same values. We've been married for over 40 years and raised 4 kids who speak English and are computer-literate, and now I am doing the same with my grandkids. I believe we need to invest in our legacy and provide them what the States offer, but avoid materialism. My Brazilian wife even became an English too.
I'm Brazilian and I can tell you that Brazilian women may be traditional but they cheat a lot and are not very trustworthy women. Filipina woman in this sense is much better

Living in a small country, where the population is similar or smaller than the population of biggest cities in the world, practically I have to compete for the job with highly skilled professionals from the entire world. Luckily, the competitive pressure is significantly less with regard to finding the partner. In marriage not the accumulated wealth or revenue promise is the goal, therefore everybody can be good match to someone. But for revenue source (jobs), certainly the number of competitive revenue sources are much-much less than the number of couples in the world.
It’s a very, very tiny fraction of the population every year. The stats that I found is this: Approximately 0.028% of the female population in the Philippines marry foreign men annually, based on the data from 2020. 3 in 10,000. Many of these women are older and have a child out of wedlock, so they are not on the regular dating market for most Filipino guys. These are second chance marriages. Also, 1 in 5 marriages, the Filipino guy is married to the Foreign woman. A lot of these Filipinos are already in our country are medical professionals, teachers and IT professionals. They left your dating market and are in our market. I met my wife in the US and the same is true for our son. The financial impact on families in the Philippines is big also. We’ve financed sibling education, built homes, paid medical bills and help parents come to the US. So, I do think this is a good thing for both countries. Happiness is multiplied, where there would otherwise be a gap.

I’m a good deal older than you, friend, and I’m married to my Filipina wife for 5 years now. What I like the most is how she’s constantly telling me how handsome and “guapo” I am. And she sings love songs to me almost every day 😊
You were married before right? If you are Christian did you marry now a Christian. What did you have in common with her? This is what I say. Old white men basically take advantage of poor Asian women. Why - because nobody teaches the women their own value.
Very cool video. I, fortunately, found in the states what you found there. I had pretty much the same list I wanted in a wife. 35 years and four grown children later we are very happy and have grown tremendously. Thank you for the video.

Your wife is gorgeous! I agree with you 100% and the best thing I EVER did in my life was find an Asian wife 30 years ago and we are still happily married.
My fiance is in Cebu going to school. I asked her what she wanted for Christmas. She proceeded to tell me that whatever amount I was going to spend on her is the amount she would spend on the street children...because they have very little. So I sent her the funds and she in turn purchased food for a dozen or more children and people on the street and with help of a few friends they made up sacks of food and handed them out. That touched my heart like never before. She has a heart of gold and always thinking of others before herself. I am a very lucky man to have found a woman like her.
I'm from the Netherlands but it's the same here and I completely agree with all your points. I lost faith in finding a good relationship or long lasting marriage in the West so I basically moved to South East Asia because of this, along with some other reasons of course. Plus, western family court leaves most men devastated. Women in SEA are clearly different. Strong family values, friendlier, feminine, sexy, supportive, sweet, not arrogant, not narcistic and more appreciative. There're always exceptions of course. But it's sad that many men need to go look overseas to find a good wife. Wish you and your wife much luck.
Thank you my friend and I’m glad to see so many people understanding. But I’ve seen you live in a beautiful country! My cousin just spent eight years there.

Congratulations, she is lovely! Marrying my Vietnamese wife is the best thing I ever did. Considering the awful cultural shift going on in America today its even harder to find a great lady.
Damn buddy has himself an absolute 10. Across the board. Unbelievable. I’m a 24 year old in the us, business owner, I’m 6’3 and not ugly. This changes the game tbh. I have given up on marriage in the us it’s almost a joke now. Traveling to the Philippines is a new priority
at 24? You can enjoy eastern europe of South America first and get the premium ladies there. Phillipines is best if you are 40+ if you want those premium ladies they will still be attracted to u if you're in shape and not black.
People should be allowed to mutually marry who they want to marry, nobody should have to explain to others why they married someone. It’s your life, the people judging you don’t care about you, they just want to make themselves feel better because they can’t fix their own lives.
Congratulations to you, Corry and Raquel, I married a Filipina and we are going on 20 years of marriage this year. Your video is spot on, traditional values, non-materialistic, family values, but you forgot the most important point, I would recommend spending time with your fiancee's family. Live with them for a few months. You can learn a lot and adjust to cultural and personal differences. Finding the right woman. that you can trust who is not just looking to get to the USA, who sticks for a while then starts looking for a better proposition (ie : Gold Digger). There's a bunch of those too!😁
Thank you for giving well thought out answers and articulating them. I married a Filipina from Baguio area and could never really explain the whole encompassing relationship we have from both sides. I’m thinking we need to make a 5 year plan to move over also. Thank you again guys.
I'm a guy from the UK and completely understand - the things you mentioned are kinda the same here. The whole relationship thing is such a drag that I haven't even bothered for years. Love Xx
Cory and Raquel, I want to thank you both for the time you’ve taken to make your videos. I was teary eyed at times, laughing at others. You two are such an amazing couple and you both are a true testament to the value of a Filipino marriage. I am filled with hope after being divorced for over ten years now, I’ve raised my family and I am now retired on a good pension. I will start my journey along your footsteps. Thank you for this very informative blog.

I love the chemistry between you two, it sounds like a win win relationship, love is like a treasure hunt, we all keep looking until we find it no matter where we need to go, congrats guys.
Eventually she’ll like the name brand stuff and I bet you’ll be happy to give it to her. I’ve spoiled my wife with BMW, LV, and alot of other fancy brands. We’ve been together for almost 38 years, her happiness is my happiness. She’s still very humble, caring, and beautiful. If my Filipina is singing she’s happy and she sings all the time. Im old now and would do it again in a heartbeat. May you have a wonderful life with her.
In the most respectful way I can say this, her smile, personality, sense of humor, and attraction to you place her in the “diamond” category. She will no doubt bring out the best in you and for that you can be grateful. Your gratitude can easily be expressed by giving her the best life possible…and you seem to be doing a great job at that. On being “equally yoked”…
Man, when you got to the “giving” or charity part and I saw the look in her eyes I knew it was genuine and a little tear cracked my eye. I’m on the level now where I’m starting to think seriously about looking overseas for a woman and for all the same reasons you mentioned here.
Hello from Siquijor. This is a great summary of the Filipina mentality and cultural norms. Our family (Filipina wife +2 our kids) have lived over here for the last 15 years of our 19 year marriage. People are kind to each other here and even the kids are very civil and respectful. A great place to raise a family for those so inclined. And a better wife opens doors to a better life.
Us American men know what you are saying . My Filipina wife is everything and more that I searched for in a partner . I have no use for American women ! The love and kindness my wife shows me is nothing I have ever had from a American woman . Looking in the Philippines for a wife was best decision I have made .
You guys are an awesome couple and compliment each other very well. I'm from the US and my husband is from mexico. I'm a stay at home traditional mom and love cooking and cleaning for my man. Women here in the states think it's absolutely crazy that I pick up his plate when he's done eating lol.
Do you mean all the single women think you’re crazy lol. Well, our relationship is 50% on each side. She enjoys cooking, and she doesn’t enjoy taking out the garbage. It doesn’t mean one person is better than the other. We just support each other ❤️

Traditional family values, not materialistic, conservative attire, willing to work with you to set goals and the to achieve your combined goals. You are correct. Those are the most important values to have in a partner
Not materialistic?? Seriously?? Have you seen what this guy has given her?? Why didn't she marry a boy from her village?? Because she wanted the life only a white westerner could give her!! I've been married to a Filipina for 17 years, and they are even more competitively materialistic than western women!! It doesn't mean they don't love us, but they also love what we can do for them!!

@@Rachel00813 No, you misunderstand me. When I met my wife I had left my government job, and I didn't get another job - bus driving - until she actually came to Australia on the marriage visa. I had met her in person in the Philippines 6 months earlier. So, my wife certainly didn't marry me for my money!! I didn't have any!! I actually had to borrow money from my parents to fund my trip there, and to pay for her to come to Australia. But I think it's incorrect to say that Filipinas aren't interested in money, and are happy with a simple life?? Maybe if they have no choice - yeah - but everybody aspires to a better life don't they?? It's fairly obvious when you see a 20 year old Filipina with an 80yr old fat ugly westerner, that they are in it for the money? I think we can both agree on that? But Corey is young and handsome enough (great bod - obviously trains in the gym) to have a genuine romance with you. Even so, I'd guess he's in his early 40's and you're in your early 20's? That's kind of like my wife and me. I was 44 and she was 27. Like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes., I wish you and Corey the best. Here's my wife and I at our Philippines wedding (we had one in Australia first) ruclips.net/video/XtE5cb3Mob8/видео.html
I don’t think you’re being negative about the comparisons at all mate, same here in Australia as it is in the US. The differences to women in south east Asia are very real. Good for you I say!! 👍💪
Very sensitive topic but it has to be discussed. People realistically have preferences we just have to respect that. Whatever makes one happy without judging others is the way it's supposed to be. These are things you learn not in educational institutions but in LIFE. Real stories and actual life experiences. Just need to be open minded and with understanding hearts. A proud pinoy 🇵🇭 watching from SF CA 🇺🇲.
I would say the rise of narcissism in the US is a contributing factor on why it's so tough to find a caring mate. Marriage should be based on selflessness, not selfishness.
I have to agree with either male, female etc. I feel like I'm living in twilight zone. Everyone is out for themselves and it's always about me, me, me. And in the States they judge your character, self worth by the car you drive, your house money etc pretty disgusting.
@@sarakelleher3590 are you sure that's not just what you're attracted to in men? Good men are pretty common in america. Theres so many studies showing this it's hard to take you seriously. Everything you said is 100% true. As the saying goes " Facts don't care about your feelings!" I'm waiting on a Fiance Visa now and I'm taking early retirement and moving to the Philippines!
One thing you did not touch on that is important is you took your time, got to know her, brought her to your home country and vetted her properly. The face-to-face time is really important if you want to select correctly. You have done that at home and the Philippines so you knew exactly what her faults were, her strengths and what roles each will have for the relationship to succeed. For a man who is looking for a wife, the Philippines is a really good option if he does not want to learn a different language.
Thanks for the video. You pretty much described the reasoning for my thinking over the last year or two. I am 54 and divorced. I am very financially stable and retired for the most part. I don’t like my choices here. I can’t date a woman I don’t find attractive and I am tired of the entitlement and attitudes here. I am tired of our culture and it’s lack of values as well. I just want to live a happy life with a woman who is happy and fun to be around. I am planning to take a trip to the Philippines in the next few months. Just seeing you two interact lifts my spirits.
I’d add loyalty, wonderful mothers, caring and a protective spirt. They will fearlessly defend their husbands and children. Love my Filipina wife of 38 yrs.
I'm happy for both of you, pal! What a lovely woman, honestly. Here in the UK, immigration policies are getting tougher, but I do everything to be somewhat less tied geographically to my business so I can move around for romance. The government will not hold me back. Thanks for the inspiration and I'm sending my best wishes!
Congratulations to both of you. Your video is so considerate and kind. I’m so happy you met and married a woman that makes you happy. That’s all that matters. Although I was brought up in the US I am fortunate to have been brought up with my family’s cultures morals and values. For example dating for us does not mean sex but for Americans it does. It’s just different. My husband is Turkish and he too was looking for a fit kind feminine girl. We met at the gym and are very happy. Wishing you a happy forever marriage. You guys are so cute together!
I’ve spent a bit of time in the phils, the girls there are super loyal, traditional and loving. it’s impossible for you as a foreigner to go there and not find the girl of your dreams
True keep it on down low I mean I want help dudes but you let a good thing out about women surely there’s clown dudes that will ruin it, that greatness of a Philippine girl is only great cause she hasn’t had a male abuse her or treat her wrong so I say keep a good thing to yourself you do it with everything else just sayin

@@marciestoddard730 Yes, because they are not all poor and it's sad to think that way. 10 times more women in the west want a man for their money than over here. Women here are typically wholesome and religious and not interested in money.
I can appreciate you guys putting out this video because you are definitely putting yourself out in the line of fire by doing this. I totally agree with everything you say it's completely true every word of it. And especially the reason why we do it is that you could literally spend a lifetime trying to find what it is that we found in the Philippines, in the US. I'll say it again you could literally spend a lifetime trying to find it and only like the lottery it would be a one in a million chance to find it I have spent 30 years in relationships and I never had found what it was that i I found in the Filipino people in the culture of the Philippines. I too a married to a Filipino woman and I'm very happy with her I am very happy with her family I am very happy with the culture and their morals. I had my 48th birthday in the Philippines with her family and friends and to be honest with you I'd never had so many people come together to celebrate my birthday in all of those years of my life. The emotions that I had that day were so strong because as I said I had never had anyone not even in my own family come together for my birthday as they came together for someone who they hardly even knew at that time. Thank you both for shedding some light on this subject. I know there are those who will not understand and will want to argue tooth and nail and say that we could find it locally and all that but it's just not true and they will just never understand.
Another great video and nice job navigating through a dangerous mine field with the subject matter. Something I think men especially American men need to seriously consider is when you find a Filipina and commit and eventually marry you're going to be getting much more than just a wife. The traditional Filipino values and culture mentioned in this video include an unbreakable close bond with the entire and often very large family. Something I've noticed that is so much different and it actually applies to this entire SE Asia region is the reverence and respect that is given to old people. In many instances in the USA old people/senior citizens are often considered a burden and not worthy of our personal attention or care, we just try to figure out how we can hire a part time or full time care giver or send them off to a retirement center. That method for dealing with the elderly isn't prevalent here at all in fact it's quite the opposite in most cases. Just be aware that if you were like me and had become somewhat accustomed to leading a more solo lifestyle with little to no regular direct interaction with your previous partner's family or even your own family, your experience will likely be the complete opposite in this country. I don't want to give the wrong impression, I love my wife's entire family and it's been just one of many very positive changes that occurred in my life after moving here.
Great video! I don't think you need to apologize for your comments, as they are exactly on point. As a 65 year old divorcee, I can attest to the fact that there are virtually NO women who have all of the qualities you listed. So yeah, it's easy to see why men are flocking to the Philippines... and I could care less what any American women say on the subject. Some call us 'losers'.... I simply call us 'smart shoppers'. Congrats to you.
I'm an overweight Mexican American who met his wife at work back in 2012. She's a petite white woman, she's extremely fit (abs with strong muscle tone at about 110lbs at 5ft 4in), she couldn't care any less about brands or anything luxury for that matter, and she is gorgeous. We get stares when we go out because we just don't seem like we'd be together. I don't come from money (we met working at a grocery store) so she's definitely not with me for that. I've been working towards getting into better shape now that we have a daughter together and also because I want her to have some eye candy too. But my point is that it's easy to judge guys who look for overseas wives but your argument is 100% valid. If I wasn't already the luckiest man alive and I was still looking for a partner I think I really would have gone your route because it's what I look for in a woman as well. I appreciate you making this video because this definitely changed my mind on the process and it was fun learning about it!
Thanks for pointing out american women can be petite, kind and not materialistic. I get what this guy is saying because in GENERAL Asian women are more traditional and don't tend towards obesity. However I do not like when ppl stereotype...it gives "passport bro" and immediately makes you think there's something wrong w the guy for not being successful in love in the u.s. But I don't go around saying that because it's not ALWAYS the case. It just isn't. I have never been overweight and I love cooking for my man! A lot of people tend to be bitter because they got taken advantage of due to their own ego/lack of sense. They prefer "easier"(not saying sexual).
I can tell that you are a genuine couple in a great marriage and I have been telling my son that he should find a way to make his money online and seek a wife in the Philippines. American women have become so toxic and I want grandkids raised by a nice woman with more traditional values. Thanks for sharing your story.
100% facts... I dated a mixed Black/filipina women in college. Everything you mention in this video about why you decide to go overseas for a wife I had in her. I was so blind though and young. I knew what I wanted but lack the vision for the longterm. Fast forward 20 years... Hell... I knew less than 10 years later I made a foolish mistake, and paying for it now. With blessings from God he'll will heal my current marriage if not I pray for a second chance at someone who can help complete my life (Make me a better person).
Wow, you found a real diamond Cory, and I agree with EVERY reason you went to the Philippines to find a partner. It took me a few failed relationships to realize that it's almost impossible to find a woman with all of the qualities I'm looking for just like yourself. I'm glad I found your channel and I'm learning more about your story but you are an Inspiration for many guys in the USA. I'm coming to the philippines for holiday in March for the first time, for retirement research as I'll be retiring in the next few years. Keep making your videos they are very informative and interesting. Good on you!
I just came across your channel. You are very correct on your reasoning on the traditional values. I'm coming in 3 days from central Illinois. Will definitely catch up on your channel during the flight. Congratulations to both of you
This is a great video!! My wife is Guatemalan and we have been married for 16 going on 17 years and my wife is all of the things you listed, she is kind and sweet and holds the old school views and values which I love, and she loves to help people. She was raised in the US but her mom is old school. Great video!!
I'm a western woman and I can say that I can fully understand why you married her! :-) The reasons you bring forth are very understandable and not too shallow. I feel that dating in western cultures has become so grotesque with traditional values and real love, kindness and genuine interest in the other person have become rare!
Sad but true. I like opening her car door and paying for meals. Those things shouldn’t be taken offensively.
Great Comment.

I was married once and she divorced me after 24 years supposedly for being too strict with our son. So far he’s turning out to be a wonderful young man with great values. Didn’t realize at the moment the favor she was doing me but after a few months of being away from her toxic behavior It finally dawned on me. At the time of our marriage, my wife looked very similar to your wife but after 38 years she is not quite as fit as your spouse. And the same goes for me also. However I do not regret for a minute my hasty decision to marry her because she is everything that any reasonable man would want in a life partner. Thanks for your story.

This really makes me sad to realize how much our society in the US is falling apart and it keeps getting worse every day. Great video.
Thank you and I wish my topics were not real

It's beautiful how respectfully they speak to each other.
Thank you
Don't ever apologise mate, telling the truth always offend the weak minded and those that are sensitive.
Only simps apologize. I'm happy the USA is filled with passport bros. Bunch of overweight, entitled, loud-mouth vvomen in the USA. Gross. Just gross.
Yep. Hook up culture is shocking in Australia and everyone disposes of each other at the drop of a hat

Just curious about one thing: are you guys going 50/50 on finances or are you the sole provider for the family?
@ninuska2010 I hear crickets so you know what's up!😂
@@nihongochopsocky808 See, this is the thing that man are missing (THE MAIN THING) - as long as a woman is provided for, meaning, she doesn't work outside of the home (if she doesn't want to or have to) she will have TIME AND ENERGY to pour into her family, and she will make pampering her husband, house and her children her PRIORITY because that's the only job she has lol (which is very different from women who also have to work to help their husband pay the bills, put them through school, pay off certain debts, help finance the children and household etc). It's easy to be a good, 'submissive', traditional woman who's completely devoted to family when your husband retires you from work - and I say that as an import bride, because I am one of those women, so I know what I'm talking about lol (I moved from Eastern Europe to live as a housewife in Germany)

I thought things were tough dating wise 19 years ago, I can only imagine how hard it is now. We're considering retiring in Vietnam. Good luck you two.

Thoughts?

But for revenue source (jobs), certainly the number of competitive revenue sources are much-much less than the number of couples in the world.
only unnatractive western men are the one who travel.
Hi,Just saying I went on a holiday to the Philippines in 1987, I'd been overweight most of my life, and always been rejected by Australian girls, I lost a lot of weight and girls where finally showing interest, I was kind of pissed off, I was the same person, so back to the Philippines, I don't Drink, and was buying bottled water from a convenience store, the beautiful girl behind the counter, warned me to be careful, And I was robbed by a guy who offered me a city tour, so "lost" my return ticket, So "The Girl" offered to help me if I needed help, ( which I did need) spent the rest of my holiday with her, I had never enjoyed anyone's company that much before, ( I know what your thinking, But just having meals, playing " Connect Four" for hours) I still love that face, so after a second trip back, And visa requirements, 19 months later she arrived, in 1989, four months later we married, in 1997 I'd been sick and was fired from work ,Going home to tell her was so hard, She just smiled and said " We will be ok, by 1999 She vowed Never to visit the Philppines again, so still happily Married after 33 years, Good Luck guys,

I’m a good deal older than you, friend, and I’m married to my Filipina wife for 5 years now. What I like the most is how she’s constantly telling me how handsome and “guapo” I am. And she sings love songs to me almost every day 😊
We are both lucky men!
You were married before right?
If you are Christian did you marry now a Christian.
What did you have in common with her?
This is what I say. Old white men basically take advantage of poor Asian women. Why - because nobody teaches the women their own value.

Yes, you are my friend, so hold onto her
Wow
This is how we make America Great! I am happy for the both of you.

But I am the atm machine. Im not really into that right now. My fillipina works and wants to. And saves a lot..
Eventually she’ll like the name brand stuff and I bet you’ll be happy to give it to her. I’ve spoiled my wife with BMW, LV, and alot of other fancy brands.

100% agree my friend!
Great comment, thank you 🙏
I would say the rise of narcissism in the US is a contributing factor on why it's so tough to find a caring mate. Marriage should be based on selflessness, not selfishness.

Dude the obese women with kids who think a dude like me is somehow beneath them is like wtf, how.
You have very good points stated above. Theo horror stories I’ve heard areo from people that did not take their time.
Great additions my friend!
I'm happy for both of you, pal! What a lovely woman, honestly. Here in the UK, immigration policies are getting tougher, but I do everything to be somewhat less tied geographically to my business so I can move around for romance. I can appreciate you guys putting out this video because you are definitely putting yourself out in the line of fire by doing this. I totally agree with everything you say it's completely true every word of it.

Thank you, great comment
Been married to my Filipino wife for 15 years now. Best decision I ever made!
You look like a happy man!
13 years for me and my Filipina since our marriage. No regrets. I thank God for her often.
Sad but true!
The fact that we've gone so far down the tubes in the USA to the point that kindness, humility and respect are almost UNHEARD OF is very sad but true.
So true
Great comment and happy to see you found the right one.
