It actually IS an old Norse song. It dates back to the 9th Century, and was of course originally in Old Norse.

One of the things that I love that they do so well is that they set the scene. You are there. The experience is immersive. And I for one and blown away every time.
You should check out the dragonborn comes and hoist the colors from skyrim and pirates of the Caribbean respectively. Other worldly does not begin to describe the experience. And they also did a follow-up to this song called Valhalla calling. In one word EPIC!!!!

Is this her first Voiceplay video? I've been combing her playlists and was surprised not to see one for Voiceplay. This is one of my least favorite of their videos. Geoff (the bass) is amazing. You should check out his solo stuff, but definitely check out oogie boogie's song from the group. Geoff is featured and his range is incredible.
The story is that Laine (the beatboxer and the one who arranged this) asked Geoff how long he could hold an F1. Geoff's reply: Yes.

They're artists who've taken ancient Norse runes & poems and brought them to life through music. I rank these artists on the same level as VoicePlay (and their bass singer Geoff Castellucci's solo work) which is TOP TIER musicians with few matching their skill and passion
