Within 10 days of posting this unfortunately these 2 landslide locations are no longer allowing any use of the £18 credit. As of 1st June 2024 they've withdrawn from the offer. Brewdog at Gatwick South is now though included www.headforpoints.com/2024/06/03/brewdog-in-gatwick-north-joins-priority-pass/

Something a bit different. Thanks for sharing. Sadly most airport lounges are not the quiet retreats they once were and now you are lucky to get inside and find a seat.

Agree, it’s hard to see the value in it for me at the moment, not as chill as they were, food all pretty average and non substantial. Some even charge for Prosecco now too

Thanks for the vid. We got a Lloyds Bank credit card and got set up for the main cardholder. But not sure how to register the secondary cardholder for the pass. Do they receive a separate letter or email with login information?

I had this issue. Lloyds were useless. We had to just register the card as a new account on priority pass and that gave us the 2nd priority pass card holder

The UK banks offering Prestige coverage for £15 per month is a good deal. £180 for £419 value is a bargain.
Personally I try and book lounge access through holiday extras or direct with the lounge if access isn’t via ticket class.

I’ve used them in the past, I remember when it was £17 or £18 for lounge access and back then it was really good value. I see the value now when travelling back to the uk or around the rest of the world rather than the packed out lounges in Heathrow. (Although I travelled through Gatwick last month and every lounge I tried was empty!)

@@JTsJourneys Lounge access now is between £40 to £50 now depending on where you are flying from but gives you three hours of food and drink. There are many factors as to whether lounge access is worth it, especially if you don’t get it with your ticket. I look at the business class ticket has £50 lounge access which can make the paid upgrade worthwhile. More if it’s a return. It’s for this reason I haven’t opted for Priority Pass at all. Too many people get rejected if busy, so you either need a guaranteed way to enter or want a meal and drink before a Ryan Air flight.

Good point re the value of 3 hours in there. If I'm flying Ryanair though I try and get to the airport as late as possible and would most likely skip the lounge all together

@@JTsJourneys I would probably prefer a better meal in the terminal over something overpriced on the aircraft in that case. It all depends on how you are feeling. Though even a lounge would seem expensive if flying on a low budget airline.
