Why don't you try being one for 6 months. it's a thankless , low paying job. Bad guys trying to hurt you , liberals trying to put you in jail if you hurt the bad guys and ingrates like you always looking to take a cheap shot. Let me guess, you flunked the police test and now you have a chip on your shoulder.

Bears aren't "rare" in BC, even in Vancouver, especially N. and W. Vancouver. The Fraser River runs through south Van, all kinds of animals live along its shores. For a bear to make it further than that doesn't surprise me.

An idea who's time may have come is a diversionary feeding program to keep the bears out of town until those berries they talked about come into bloom.
