- Odell Beckham Jr. defined the word superstar in the NFL. His highlight-reel plays and magnetic personality skyrocketed him to becoming one of the most famous players in NFL history. In his prime, he wasn’t just on track to be one of the greatest wide receivers ever, he changed the way the position was played.

I felt old while explaining to my younger cousin who obj is. I still remember not only “the catch” but his whole giants tenure like it was yesterday
How old is he I’m only 15 and I know who Odell is but you making feel old and I’m young 😂😂😂
Until he asks you about Luke kuehly
@@igt300 I’ll gladly tell him about Keuchly
@@Iwasherelol14 He was a beast
We’re gæ
OBJ is the D-Rose of the NFL
100 percent 🤙🏽
Yup
Injury robbed him of at least 5,000 receiving yards. He'd be a HoF'er for sure.
Basically garunteed a HOF spot already🎅
@@CrimbusNimbushes not going to be a HOFer stop the delusion
@@SASBurner whatever
@@SASBurnerngl im new to American football and I knew OBJ and the catch before I knew Brady and mahomes the aura and reach alone should get him in the HOF imo
Lmfao yall are hilarious he barely did shit. He isn’t HOF worthy at all
Didn't know Shaq was Odell's godfather. You learn something every day!
Me neither
Me neither
im saying😂😂
even Angel Reese is his god daughter at this point everyone from LSU is shaq's godchildren
The Only Thing Stopping Him Was Injury’s
People who say “OBJ’s career was off of one catch” have no idea what they are talking about.
And it was .... he hasn't done much else regardless of what you say
@@austinaldridge7454 just erase the 1000+ yard seasons 🤷♂️ also self liking your comment is wild
@@austinaldridge7454You're delusional, buddy.
@@RM-56you mean those 1,000 yard seasons he had good Eli manning and then went to good teams lmfao💀😂 he still ain’t do shit. Chad ocho did more and he isn’t even in
@@zzirfamo24Eli was old and threw a lot of picks. And before the rams and ravens he had big impacts on his teams while not being injured.
That catch still gives me chills.
Odell Is himmm man I promise you he is gonna have a great year playing with the Dolphins! I'm looking forward to it
Don't forget that Odell Beckham Jr is the only Wide Receiver in the NFL to play with all 3 Quarterbacks who was drafted 1st overall Eli Manning Baker Mayfield and Matthew Stafford plus he played with 2 Heisman Trophy Winners Mayfield and Lamar Jackson too 2:20
your forgetting that when odell played for eli and baker they were bottom 10 qbs and in 2019 eli was probably the worst starting qb in the nfl
@@imabosser407Eli was top 10 when Odell was there
The fact I’m wearing an OBJ ravens Shirt today makes this video great timing 😂
do you know if he resigned with the ravens? 💜
@@rREC nah he is a dolphin now. Which should work in his favor. Teams gotta worry about T. Hill. So they double him, and waddle gets good attention so I think OBJ will get a good 500-700yd year as a WR 3
As a Giants fan, Odell was something else in his prime. Sad people overlook him now as if he wasn’t HIM a couple years back.
2:34 the greatest catch of all time
He was really good with the Giants and if he continued on the early trajectory he was on he coulda been a HOF. It’s sad to see the toll injuries took on him. At this point in his career he is a fringe WR2 at best and would be a really good WR3, which is why Miami is probably the best spot he could’ve landed in.
Idk if the injuries derailed his career or the trade derailed it but OBJ had the potential to be the best WR in the league during that era. Never really heard of him before that catch but after seeing many highlights of him, he really was talented beyond words & that goes without saying. I wish he made a comeback cause of how talented he is but he kept declining over the years. Still hope he makes a comeback somehow
It was definitely the major injuries where he missed so many games
@@andrewfung9340 I forgot about the ACL injuries
One of the top receivers when i moved back to america and watched football again, wore my favorite number, and created one of the greatest moments in sports history with the reach back 3 finger catch. His prime was crazy
I hate how injuries ruin a lot of players' potential
To many, football is a stupid sport because it is too violent and injuries are garanteed. Sometimes career ending injuries. What's the average career for running backs? I think it's like 3 years.
@@Orcinus1967 yeah, but I mean those players know to an extent what they signed up for. As long as players wanna play it’s just how it is. Now maybe if the NFL had a steady decline in players we might just shift to flag football, but that’s a bold opinion.
Man... I miss this so much
OBJ definitely was a beast in NJ plus he had the one handed catch
With the giants he was probably top three to five WR
Yall think he’s done, I loved having him on my Ravens team. Check out that catch he did against the Dolphins near the end-zone. OBJ contorted his body to make that catch. OBJ aka “the contortionist”.
I wish he could’ve stayed a Ravens, and I wish him the best.
he was so good that ppl treated him as elite when his talent became average.
Odell Beckham Junior is extremely talented.
Wow. I am early for an upload.
He got 🙌 hands
Great Hands🙌🏽Like AllState
im hyped for the new season now !
Odell Beckham Jr was one of the most if not the most electrifying players to ever grace the NFL football field 1st Round 12th overall pick WR LSU 2014 NFL Draft in New York but he did win NFL's Rookie of the year award from one of the most if not the greatest catch in NFL's History vs Dallas in PrimeTime make no mistake about it he did come as advertised at 1st with Eli Manning throwing him the ball however the OBJ did win a Super Bowl Ring in 2021 with LA Rams and he catch his 1st TD in the Super Bowl vs Bengals too 0:20
OBJ was absolutely insane with the Giants, but I am really tired of people still thinking he is good
He’s still better than a lot of WR2s
I mean, he’s a solid WR2/WR3. You don’t gotta be an X-Factor Davante Adams type player to still be considered good.
Never been this early to a blitz vid
Guess I’m not first, lol. Good job bro
Welcome 👋
Obj is absolutely legendary
Injuries add up and when you are an elite level athlete every injury takes it's toll quicker on your performance.
My favorite player of all time without a doubt
You should do how good was PRIME Julio Jones actually?
Top 5 receiver OAT. That MF deserves like 3 rings he was a monster. Probably one of my favorite players of all time
@@commandercody5573facts prime Julio was crazy him ab and Odell all in their prime
Odell had HOF trajectory, that Cleveland trade derailed everything
They knew what they were doing, sent him out there for his career to die
didn't know he got injuried this much
The most talented receiver I’ve ever seen besides moss. Sucks what injuries did
Remeber when he came out to that eznumba8 classic game
do LT next please
That boat ride is what killed his career. It wasn't the injuries those just solidified he'd never be the same. The story isn't what created the narrative he did that himself.
He’s the NFL Derrick Rose tbh.
i still can't believe the tims on the yacht....
so funny how people would hate and say he was overrated, a crybaby, “just made one good catch” and now he’s getting his praise lol
95 million is crazy’
That was the greatest catch. I saw that shit live and lost my shit
i read the title and just said out loud "really good"
Shaq being his Godfather is news to me, but it make sense probably because Shaq and his parents went to LSU at the same time
Can you pls make video of how good was Charles Woodson please and thank you.❤❤
Can you do a how good was Ray Louis pls
I'm not sure how he "changed the way the game is played" but he was a decent WR for a few years
As a Giants fan. There are some players that should have retired a Giant. OBJ & Saquon Barkley should have worn Blue their whole career!
If his prime is over then I’m going to jail
You guys gonna do a Joe Burrow one?
Wish he was still good :(
ain’t this nonstop sports video?
Shaq?
JB would agree..
Make a "how good was frank gore video"
U have to do Michael Thomas now
Now back in South Beach to repay some unfinished business. Imagine trying to guard him Reek and Waddle. Fins up
Do Todd Gurley next
Injuries ruined his hof level start to his career
❤
The catch was on a Sunday night 😅
he was aight
Dion or obllj?
It was a Sunday night not a Monday night

He made one catch
So good that he wont make the HOF despite the elite start.
How good was prime you?
Everything in his career went downhill after the Cabo boat pic went viral
Umm are we just gonna skip the fact that shaq is objs godfather
obj was a drama queen. personal fouls, michael jackson moves on every td, his social media appearance, the miami-gate....and look, now guys like jj are making moves like that every game and the injuries. i think rob gronkowski had way more injuries and what did he do to a solid defense in superbowl vs chiefs ? this is the difference between one hit wonders and real legends.
Am I actually first? Huh, ain’t that funny. Well, good video, I guess.
The question is, will he be good on the dolphins
Macadoodoo
His prime was exactly 1 play
OBJ very talented player but the production just wasn't there. I would always put him a tier below the likes of a Julio or AB.
At least 25 receivers better than him all time. Tired of people overhyping him
Im early wow
Can he retire
How many likes how many burgers I eat
Jesus Loves everybody Amen
That one-handed catch, hyped him all all the way over the top😂😂😂😂😂. He an overrated deva deva .😂😂😂😂😂😂
Did not have the guidance of Saban. Bro fell off

I'll save you guys the time he was extremely overrated. He had one cool catch years ago in a game that they lost. He used that to make millions tricking teams that he is good.
He was never that good.
overrated! but his rookie year was crazy! also Brandon Lloyd had a better catch 🤷🏽♂️
This film is a flat out joke, never was he on pace to be even in the top 10 of WR
Your a flat out joke
There is no such thing as prime and past your prime. There is just healthy and injured... I'm not saying not to say there's no such thing as old I am saying that so that people can start understanding the reality of what you saw with players like Tom Brady opposed to like Drew Brees. You don't forget how to play a sport you don't lose your ability to play a sport you just simply get injured and you can't move the same but there is no such thing as prime. A 40 year old bodybuilder who didn't lift for like 9 years prior in less than a year of reworking out yeah I might as well be in my early twenties.
Obj is trash
