    Is it okay if I use small ramps so I can get underneath the van. I don’t think it will make to much of a difference with the van slightly angled up? What’s your thoughts?

    • @moosemobileautorepair
      @moosemobileautorepair  11 месяцев назад +1

      Ramps are OK to use, but you won't be able to fill it up to the proper level unless you fill what the capacity is. Also, if you want to check the level you won't be able to check it properly when it is on an angle and it makes a big difference and the fluid levels will be quite a bit off. Unless you get it on ramps on both ends of the vehicle then it might be OK, otherwise you can fill to what the capacity states.

    I have Toyota Sienna xle awd 2018 which oil do you recommend for differential case?

    • @moosemobileautorepair
      @moosemobileautorepair  5 месяцев назад +2

      Any 75W90 GL-5 gear oil is what I use. I use this stuff these days and works fine.
      Ultra1Plus™ SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Oil, API GL-5 | 5 Gallon Pail
      a.co/d/ffHpsdP
      The Toyota dealer stuff uses LT gear oil which is 75W85, but really it doesn't make a difference and 75W90 is safe to use also.

      @moosemobileautorepair  8 месяцев назад +1

      90311-42062
      Fits either side left or right for the rear differential.

  • @JCZero11

    Does the front have a differential too or just the rear?

    • @moosemobileautorepair
      @moosemobileautorepair  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes. The front differential is actually the front transfer case on these Toyotas. Then you have the rear differential. Just the two that requires servicing.
