How about getting a 4d vw emblem I have it one on my 8p audi A3 s line sucks that it's a write off now got rear ended in late January and icbc adjuster still didn't come to my home yet 12k damage.. But yeah all oem parts from a Audi TT etc. 2010 rear euro talight upgrade riding on amg 18 inch rims which originally was on a Mercedes ML63 2003 model with a audi ctr cap. Colour was sprint blue with a Rs3 gloss front honeycomb grill. Unitronic stage 2+ tune. 2.0. will be coming soon. But yeah found your video because I was interested in the catch can set up. My car is my profile pic.
I’m trying this right now and can not get it to fit right. I can get one side then I can’t get the other side. I tried staring with lightly screwing the front two middle screws and still can’t do it 😂😤
I have a 12’ golf Tdi MT and I love it. I just wish the stock clutch could handle the cr170 turbo without an upgrade but the vehicle regardless is a solid unit
@@ThatGuyTyy Help a brother Ty... Looking to do a Golf R rear bumper conversion on my Mk6 cjaa golf TDI with same gen used OEM bumper. Can I use the current impact bar, absorber & support from the TDI for the R bumper?
My stock clutch has no problem running the gtb1756vk. Yes if you try to give full boost below 2000 rpms you may get flywheel shudder, but I have 140K miles on stock clutch and it's still holding fine.
@@MrAshrr213 was actually looking into that turbo from xman, I moved from NY to SC and there are no emissions here so the first step is a delete kit and then the turbo and I’ll just get a tune all at the same time when I plan to install an upgraded turbo, I did do a new clutch about 10k miles ago so knowing that’s the case I definitely am looking into a bigger turbo!
@@kirkusbodurkus5535 I really enjoy it. I'm deleted as well with that turbo and new map sensor but stock hpfp for now. Have an s3 intercooler waiting to go in. You can definitely tune/drive around the limitations of the stock flywheel.
There is coding and a module needed, I don’t actually have the module so mine doesn’t quite detect the high beam flap cause it’s looking for stock golf high beam still (separate bulb) but everything else works!
Did you leave the foam insert off? Im currently running into the same issue and I am wondering how you went about it. Also what are the risk with removing the foam I know you said you didnt recommend it but you still did it right? Thanks in advance!
Hey Cody, I am not running the foam, I trimmed it down a bunch and it still never fit, you’d have to get a golf r specific insert If you wanted to run it but the danger is if you ever have a small collision in the front there is no support behind the bumper to hold the shape so it would just crumple and need to be replaced

yeah quite unfortunate that VW underrates so many drivetrain components from factory, DSG is pretty solid holding the 2872 so far!

You sure it’s not coz it’s fresh paint compared to the one on the car?
It’s difference in materials as I was told by my painter - probably a bit of fade compared to stock paint as well
