I have a Bugout. It works fine, and it's much stronger than it feels. That's a good thing, because it feels cheap as hell. I have a couple tiny Spydercos and just ordered a Para 3. If the Para 3 works as expected, I will sell the Bugout.
I'm lucky enough to have both and like both. No question for an EDC the bugout is better, much more comfortable to carry in light weight shorts, the blade shape is far superior for all around use (love the slicy ness of the Para 3).I like the onehanded action of the bugout better. I enjoy both.
The bugout is done by a woke company and its over priced. And their 20cv and m390 is not heat treated to a level to even compete with spyderco yet their prices are higher for what you actually get. But if you get a bugout without massive qc issues and get it used for cheaper, its useful for light tasks and light weight carry. Im glad i stopped buyung bm when i did years ago. There are stories of how bad bm support is alao.
The teal s90v for $140. Blows the bugout out of the water. Knife Joy still has them in stock.
Saw they did another run I have one myself
@@allthingsknives I bought one last run, and couldn’t resist the recent drop 🫣
Also have one of these, destroys the bugout imo

Actually have a maxamet lw from a spy27 , and a spy27 grey g10 now. Actually the swap worked out perfect 👍🏻
Yeah that cruwear on the table is a blade swap and Regrind
@@allthingsknives Can definitely tell. Sick 👍🏻
Do like the bugout blade. As long as a pm2
I like how minimalistic the Bugout is

How did you get the coating off so nicely on the para 3
Had it reground
Did bgm do the regrind?
Para 3 all day. Bug out is over priced and flimsy. IMO g10 though, I just can’t get into the lw’s. Except for blade swaps.👍🏻Have a couple 4v lw’s.
The LE vs Bugout is a good comparison. With that said, throwing in the original para 3 is not.

Didn’t realize Benchmade was getting political.

@@allthingsknives that don't mean 100s of others haven't.
