If I could ask the designers at GM one thing it would be, why did they made the trucks rounded and ugly from 2000ish on. Most Chevy fans like the square body of the 70s-80s. If they sold brand new square-bodies with a cabureted 350 right now they would probably sell a ton of them.

That bumper rocks! Your misdirected dimple die reminds me of something I read about the Amish ladies who quilt. They can make a perfect quilt, so they stitch a flaw in it because only God is perfect. There's the flaw in your quilt. This truck WILL be perfect.

At first the bumper seemed to be too much, but when you put the tail lights on, it made sense. The idea to adjust the end of the bumper with the fender makes sense too. I think you are on the right way, this truck will be really awesome !!!😉

One of the things I like about your videos is that you don't waste my time with a 15-30 second lead-in composed of channel branding/fluff at the very start. You get right down to business. Nothing annoys me more than having to sit thru some cheesy branding for a channel that I'm already familiar with. Please don't change a thing.

    Go for it.
    Add on.
The principle of a "bumper" is to protect the bodywork.
As is, it doesn't protect that corner.
I know they only perform that role visually these days but it IS a principle.

Brent, ask Ester. If she tells you that changing the bumper that way will result in your stuff being on the porch; well...
For my part, I get a hue of a 1971 Chevelle or later Corvette when I look at it and that leads to the next thought, the middle of the bumper would be a good place for the fuel tank filler neck with the fold down license plate covering it. Also, I like it chrome.

It definitely looks appropriate and at my point of view wrapping around and tapering to bring closer to outside of fender but not past would finish the look. But when i saw the drinkers side from the rear where there will be fill pannel it looked like it could have exhaust poking out just above bumper until i thought of all the extra bends in the pipe to poke it out slightly up and outwards. Regardless fabuloso. It is already award-winning build.
