I didn't hear shit because I was focusing on the combat. I hate how long they made these dialogues in the DLC, with the Hornsent invasion I literally had to stand there and stop myself attacking so I don't kill Leda before the whole dialogue. It lasted like a fucking minute. So I have to look it up online to hear it all
@@APtechandgaming Hornsent isn't irredeemable. You can even have him as an ally if you summon him for Messmer, because then he realises Leda's treachery and recognises you as a fellow. The guy has every right to be mad, his entire people were made extinct due to Messmer and Marika.
I’ve played every souls game. And this battle became the best I have ever experienced. The dialogue, the music, the atmosphere, the plot, everything was flawless. The exchange of blades and words will forever remain in the deepest depths of my soul. Miyazaki, FromSoft, The composers, no one will ever reach the bar you’ve set.
FromSoft cooked so hard with this. I died a few times from the shock of the music and the voice lines. I hope they expand on this, giving more consequences to player choices and allies through the game. Maybe if I’m the lord of chaos, everyone tells me to fuck off and it’s a 1v6. It’d be awesome.
Yo that's brilliant. However, the DLC canonically takes place before we fight radagon/Elden beast. So we cannot be lord of anything for this fight. Miquella calls us aspiring lord during the last fight
Reminds me of the Armored Core fight dialogues, with everyone chipping in and stuff. I wonder if they reused some kind of dialogue flagging system from 6.
that would be so cool, like "Bayle was defeated, all to you, fellow Drake Knight, so my harpoons will strike true at thy enemies. For I am Igon, Drake Warrior!" or somethin' like that.
If you teared up throughout hearing the dialogue in this battle.. you are human.
Dude I kid you not, when I fought them all I was holding back tears. "My brothers, my sisters....forgive me"
Same. especially freyja and moore. Leda and hornsent are irredeemable though

Regardless.. I loved every single one of these guys. Rest easy friends.
bullshit. they are all messed up and hopeless losers.

On further playthroughs i realized what a heartbreak it is to kill hornsent here. The last of his kind only to die serving as a pawn again

That's harder then consort radahn-

@@APtechandgaming true, but if we’re burned by the 3 fingers, maybe that can trigger a few different lines with those NPCs.
@@APtechandgaming so that would mean for Frenzy users, lore wise this would be their start of their madness
If only they accounted for most of the playerbase bein SPECIFICALLY NOT marika's lord.

True. It does feel quite similar.
Moore should have been with us :(
This really reminds me of Judge Cleric and hallowed sentinels from Lords of the Fallen
This is pain..
Thx bro i need it
This fight could have been emotional but (for me) they all died before even finishing their dialogue, it should have been a cutscene :(
I had so much time to hear and record this. They had tons of hp and did incredible damage
If you go minmaxing build deleting bosses iam not surprised...i heard a lot of dialoges just dying again and again
I intentionally held back and ran around for them to finish talking. Didn’t disappoint
No. Making it a cutscene would ruin the dramatic and visceral feel of having to cut them down one by one
I feckin hate ganks.
Music's good, dialogue's great, but feck ganks.
It was hard killing hornsent. He had righteus cause but he was the glass cannon so i had to take him out first.
Imagine if you could summon igon as an allie
Igon have no relations to this fight tho
